2 days ago we ate again with my partner in the Gratalp Stübli. Just always great! Very fine food (salad, menu, wine, coffee, schnapps), extremely friendly service and great ambience. All of this at very fair prices. I cannot understand the review by Mr. Meier, who was in the Gratalp Stübli on the same day. But unfortunately there are also such complainers and those who are eternally dissatisfied. Dear Gratalp Stübli team, keep it up. The many positive feedback speaks for itself.

After waiting for an hour we finally received the food, which was pretty inedible. There is no menu with prices and the bill without a receipt is salty. Never again…. But there are new tourists coming every day. Not a business card for Switzerland 😖

Rustic little restaurant in a unique location. Friendly owners who made us immediately feel at home. I can recommend everyone to take the short, steep slope to the Gratalp Stübli. It is worth it ..

From the first moment to the last second of our visit, we experienced a first-class culinary experience. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The food here is simply sensational. Every bite was a true taste experience. A visit here is an absolute must and we are already looking forward to coming back and experiencing more culinary highlights.

The selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired and they are all freshly prepared. The Gratalp Stübli is cozy and rustically furnished, which fits perfectly with the surroundings. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. You can literally feel that they do their work with enthusiasm. The view from the terrace of the surrounding mountains is also magnificent. In summary, the Gratalp Stübli is a place that you definitely shouldn't miss on a trip to the mountains

The absolute tip on the Rigi Kaldbad. Just next to the railway crossing you go directly to Alpe. Super friendly welcome, warm operators. Very tasty dishes. My absolute recommendation! 😊👍🇨🇭

Nice little mountain pub, located right next to the ski lift. The service is very warm and the food is excellent. The homemade cheese slices and minced meat patties are highly recommended

Small, private terrace for a snack or meal. I found the service super nice. The salad is fresh but has a lot of industrial sauce. The cheesecake wasn't homemade, at least not the dough. Super expensive: small mixed salad, cheesecake, 5dl mineral 28 francs. In other places there is a menu with a beer. The flowers are beautiful, the atmosphere is rather spartan.

Small typical mountain restaurant, few tables inside but many outside. Decoration, service, kindness everything is there! The food is of very good quality, very well prepared, we had the fondue it was excellent. Thank you for this great time.

What a great find! A tiny place (probably cannot fit a pram inside - thinking of parents with small children), cozy, nicely decorated. We had lunch on a weekday: there was a set menu with a choice of 2 starters and 2 mains, suitable for vegetarians too. The food was very good, a tad salty, but tasty. The service is brilliant - personal, attentive, friendly. It felt like we were having lunch with family. Just excellent.

Cute small, friendly mountain hut serving great selection of stuebli food and drink. Only 5 tables inside but more outside if weather good. Highly reconmend a visit. Bit of main track - up the hill from rigi first station.

Great atmosphere~ Cosy and unique place with ease of access (follow the signs not google maps - as it lead us to the other side of the rail way)~ Friendly people with big smiles~ If it is cold and rainy/snowy, book your table to secure a place, as tables are limited (while people are constantly coming in). The Fondue was freshly made with sooooooo much flavour. No doubt it is the best Fondue we have ever had! The owner also accommodated our needs for some meat, which prooved not necessary, as the fondue was so yummy, and tasty. We were also given some strong cherry liquor to dip the break with, which was a boost of flavor. Strongly recommend if you want to find something you can't forget. We are already starting to plan our next visit here.

The tastiest in all of Switzerland! All dishes are tasty and better than in Germany! Soup of the day doesn't worry! 100% fresh and delicious.

Don't follow Google maps to find this place. There is a road right next to the train tracks that lead here. Highly recommend eating here since the food is spectacular and you're also supporting a local family. Please thumbs up 👍🏽 if you found this helpful so that others may find this place

Lovely place, drinks are so expensive though, I was charged 16 CHF for a small glass of red wine ( pino grigio, not the best in my opinion )

One of the most secret and best places in Central Switzerland. Excellent food, exclusive wines, fair prices, a place to feel good. Be sure to reserve in advance by phone. Service first class, a paradise for connoisseurs

Fantastic We had vegetable soup, meet with champignons cream and apple pie. Everything was great And the service is so good, friendly and kind. This is honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The waitress was lovely, and all of the restaurant staff had a cheerful vibe about them. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, with a view of the mountains that brings you peace while you eat. If I ever come back to Lucerne I might go up Mount Rigi just so that I can come back to visit this place!

A bit inconspicuous, but really good! First of all, if you want a chic, chic restaurant, you've come to the wrong place. The Gratalpstübli serves honest food and friendliness that comes from the heart. Today we enjoyed a fine fondue, which was not only very good, but also large enough. In terms of price, it was absolutely within the range. A clear recommendation, we will be back😊😊

We visit the Rigi very often and regularly enjoy being pampered in the Gratalpstübli. The friendly welcome and warm service is always a great pleasure for us and like coming home. Even when there is a lot going on and the terrace and the lounge are full, as a guest you don't feel any rush. On the contrary, Urs, Zabli or everyone in the team is always calm and always has a suitable saying ready. Susanne's food suits us very much. The honest food, as we like to call it, is lovingly prepared. We are always amazed at how she creates a tasty, varied menu in this small kitchen. As a guest, you can feel how the whole team works together in a happy, carefree atmosphere.

... what the 4 women achieve in such a small space is very impressive 💪🏻 ... and they always remain friendly with the guests and with each other even in the most stressful times! Cheers 🎩!

Utterly charming venue and staff. My sister was married in December and we had a family dinner at Gratalp Stübli ahead of the wedding. The couple who owns the restaurant were so kind, doting, and accommodating. They set up an outdoor fire pit for us and served wine and snacks before leading us inside for the best Raclette meal of my life! If you are lucky enough to host an intimate gathering on the mountain, put this at the top of your list.

A real rustic little wooden hut with a lot of charm and coziness. The host couple is very friendly, accommodating and loves children. Even though they were about to close, they made us some fries and sausages, which were very tasty. Everything perfect. We'd love to come back.

It's a local restaurant located right behind the Rigi Kaltbad Hotel on the hillside of Mount Rigi. It's surprisingly delicious and has a cozy atmosphere.

Rustic room with warm hosts, following the signposts and the short climb is 100% worth it. At first they said they didn't have breakfast. At the end, my colleague had a croissant, fresh, warm bread, butter and a selection of 4 jams. And they didn't even want to charge him for this. Of course there was a good tip for this.

Exceptionally good food! Today's menu (cordon bleu, fries, spinach and salad or soup) was great and the service was very child-friendly and accommodating. Access with a stroller is a bit steep but can be done without any problems. A clear recommendation on Rigi!

The Gratalpstübli is like the last of the Mohican in terms of rustic coziness and originality just above modern blocks on the tranquil, beautiful Rigi. The host couple is very nice and open. In this small kitchen they created great food for so many people and showed no signs of stress. Fantastic!

Amazing restaurant and experience! One of the best meals we had in all of Switzerland. You feel like you're eating in someone's house - the kitchen fills this small cafe with delicious smells as you wait at one of the cozy, warm tables. Owners are super friendly and proud of their food. Definitely worth it to get cash out to try this wonderful, unique restaurant for lunch before or after a hike on Mt Rigi.
