Good restaurant and overall good food, the fried egg is very good, for those like me who are looking for the experience of a Parisian broth, it has nothing to do with it... the name can be confusing... the prices will remind you, we are in Geneva but apart from that the dishes are very good, nothing to complain about.

Home service and quality at the top. Thanks to the brigade, let’s not forget it because it’s also what keeps things running. Happy Easter to all staff😊😊😊

Very good although a little expensive

I highly recommend this restaurant. The welcome, the professionalism, the taste quality and the atmosphere are exceptional! We ordered the menu with beet salad, feta and flaked almonds followed by beef cheek with mushroom mousseline then a floating island heart with passion fruit coulis and custard with fresh vanilla. Gluten-free option available. A taste and visual treat. Thank you to our server for this pleasant moment

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant which deserves praise. The food is delicious, and although I gave it a rating of 4 out of 5, that's because for me, 5 would represent absolute perfection, leaving little room for improvement. The setting is simply charming, with warm lighting, a neat layout and exceptional comfort. But what really sets this place apart are the servers. Their sense of humor is refreshing, and their friendly and helpful attitude adds a special dimension to the experience. It's rare to find a place where not only is the food delicious, but the entire experience is memorable thanks to a welcoming setting and exceptional staff. This is why I highly recommend it to all lovers of good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

It's not the cheapest restaurant but it's worth each CHF! Very delicious food, tasty wine 🍷 and well behaving servants with a great knowledge of food &wine We had the degustation menu and it was just amazing!

Pigeoning Geneva style! Fraud! There is nothing on the plate and what little there is is nothing exceptional. Overpriced for what it is. A point for decor and service.

We loved discovering the “Monsieur Bouillon” restaurant in Geneva. The egg was succulent, and the service provided by wonderful gentlemen. For those with a sweet tooth, I also recommend their éclairs, a real treat! I would like to point out that we discovered this charming place thanks to a couple of friends who highly recommended it to us. And in turn, I recommend it without hesitation.

After eating a rather good starter, what was my surprise to have a 40-ball poke bowl as a main course, really uninteresting. Service: two guys who think they're nice, noisy and unfunny organizers. I took the trouble to call twice in advance to have a candle on the dessert for my wife who was celebrating her birthday. There were only 2 tables of us that evening and they managed to get the wrong table. Disappointing and overrated.

Magnificent restaurant, excellent food and warm welcome

Restaurant in a magnificent setting of a former bank very nicely furnished in art deco style. The dishes are finely cooked and presented for a taste pleasure around the egg & chicken. Special mention for Monsieur Bouillon’s signature dishes. We ended the meal with a sublime cocktail accompanying the egg in snow and its surprise heart. Thank you to the entire team for their welcome and professionalism towards the customer

Good dishes, certainly, mastered cuisine but nothing exceptional for the price asked. Service not up to par. 1 beer and 1 dessert on the menu not available.....and the grand marnier soufflé replaced by, as announced, a strawberry soufflé. It would have just been good to specify that it was a frozen soufflé......nothing to see

Well du Chevrier in all its splendor, as in all its restaurants, "casual" service underneath all with a chef, in this case, who also denigrates his colleagues, large choice of wines but several are missing and as luck would have it the “cheapest” expensive ones. supposedly a takeover from the former sommelier but in comments from a year ago same story, dishes no longer available as well as certain desserts, in addition these are not homemade, not indicated on the menu and announced by the waiter after ordering, even if their pastry chef is excellent. It seems like they will close soon and run out of stock. Otherwise it was good without being extraordinary. Signature chicken, nothing crazy, decent pithiviers, one star for the egg starters. That's all.

Mixed impressions from this restaurant. Some members of the staff are very helpful and friendly, some totally dull and unsupportive. Food is average and as almost always in Geneva - overpriced. Wine menu is not bad, but again, nothing interesting. Three stars, not more.

Welcome always at the top, excellent dishes, all in a very pretty decor. THANKS ! I recommend the fried egg with its parmesan cream and roasted hazelnuts, a delight.

We didn't like it more than that, I found it a little bland, decent service, large choice of very good wine, I like Mr Chevrier's other brands better, in short very expensive for what it is! We pay for address and decoration

1st time at Mr Bouillon, very beautiful decor, very nice location. As a starter, we have fried meurette eggs, very good except for the slightly runny yolk on the meurettes. To follow, tartars (served ready to eat) and a (revisited escalope) Milanese with lemon butter, very good too. Service sometimes a little confusing, who does what, forgotten bread, etc...

Very good food, but the service is not up to the price. Our waitress was unpleasant, and served her dishes as if she wanted to end her day! Not up to expectations

Mrs + Mr Chevrier, what a beautiful place! A great team who made me want to come back thanks to their personalized visit (I had never seen the armored doors of the BNS vaults so closely). Generous “eggs and chickens and more if you like” cuisine. An exceptional place, the decor is of exquisite taste, we just want... to let ourselves be carried away by the cozy atmosphere...

The Burger was good. Service a little outdated but not necessarily their fault. Wine list exaggerated on prices apart from a few Swiss wines.

Overall very good experience! Precise tastes, poultry&egg centered, extensive wine list includes awesome Geneva selection. Staff is friendly, yet after a while we weren’t exactly sure who our server was. Very good for sure, room for improvement here and there.

Nice and cosy place, good vibe (made it even more sparkling by the champagne au verre selection at a very reasonable price). Chef Simone is a proper Maestro. He is caring he is passionate and he creates. I purely loved the tartar. Gianfranco, the sommelier, add real value to your dinner. This place is very good value for money and in my opinion it's just pure quality

The interior design is lovely, not Geneva style 😅 We appreciated the starters: creative and truly delicious. The mains were ordinary, nothing to praise - not bad, but not special either. On the contrary, the desert (floating island) was absolutely brilliant. The service is indeed rather inattentive, but at the same time super friendly. Just some little tweaks to be made to refine the experience as a whole and this place would be fabulous.

First discovery and good feeling, we will have to come back and try the other dishes because there is a vast choice. Everything is tempting. Fair price oufff finally the fair price except for the wine but it's general in Geneva too bad. The terrace is not great but it's okay, calm and careful, friendly and fast service, bravo for that especially at the moment. Try the signature dish, good but nothing surprising, and good fine tart. Quality price not at level; super slow service; stiff on table policy (we arriver early, the restaurant was empty and they didnt want us to take another table than the one they had dedicated which was ridiculous)

Amazing service and delicious food

Only two comments: - It would be nice to have "sets" on the table - too much waiting. For the rest everything is perfect. Note that since last September prices have increased by around 10 francs.

Superb place, very tasty chicken, personally I preferred the starter than the main course (restaurant specialty). On the other hand, the service really leaves something to be desired. We waited almost an hour to be served, even though there was really no crowd... The setting is very nice

A magnificent decoration!!!! Server rather friendly but not at all professional. A wait of half an hour to get the aperitif. However, the discussions at the bar between the waiters and the manager are omnipresent. We loved eggs and much less the rest. I will still go back to find out if this bad service was exceptional????

Very nice place. Clear and bright. Good welcome. But the signature chicken ok without wow. Very good scrambled eggs with salmon. The egg has extra snow.

The most positive is the quality of the food. Our three egg starters, personally scrambled eggs with salmon, my lady with crab and my son fried, were excellent. The grilled chicken was very good. As dessert the floating island for my lady. Only negative point, two service managers who juggle between serving tables, therefore time consuming. 2h15 for lunch. I advise without stress.

Very disappointing. We had to order only to learn that certain dishes were missing from the menu that evening. Wine by the glass: our choice fell on a Médoc, due to lack of informed advice on other Geneva wines. Note on the Pellegrin read on another review: 46, 85 or 125 Chf (approximately) totally fair, but no one to explain the difference when you drink it. The Médoc was served at a temperature of 10°C and with the lees. ..The glass was covered with condensation. Successful gazpacho (photo). I recommend. The salads and their sauces are uninteresting. Undercooked fries become stuffy after the third bite. Pilot dish: half chicken without wow factor. A connoisseur expects to find the fool. He was'nt here. If cooking leaves the flesh tender, the sauce erases all the efforts of cooking with rosemary with a taste that is too strong and too different. Disappointing to bear the name Chevrier. Probably a Genferei given the price paid.

Nothing more. On paper the concept could be attractive but the result is not up to par! Dishes too simple and featureless. The big problem is the service which is catastrophic. Reservations not made, 15 minutes before a waiter deigns to offer you an aperitif, red wine out of the fridge and so on... Too bad because the decor is magnificent.

Need to change PREVIOUS positive REVIEW Lovely oasis at the heart of the city. Friendly staff. Nice affordable original menu. Open on Sundays! - After the restaurant exposed us to risk of inhaling COVID-19 aerosols/particles keeping the doors shut although their ventilation is out of order!!! When we requested to open the glass door next to our table they would not comply with our rational request immediately but only after negotiations with arguments on condition that no client complains. Unbelievably uninformed staff. I regret I came!

We had reserved for an event of 30 people and the restaurant canceled the reservation without warning us because they had a privatization. Notification would have been appropriate. But it shows the respect this restaurant has for its customers: zero

A delight!! Prices are affordable; starter, main course, dessert and coffee it cost us 150.- for two. The servers take great care and do so with a smile. We had a lovely time! Don't miss the Ginseng coffee which can only be enjoyed at Philippe Chevrier at "Monsieur Bouillon".

It’s a scam, theft, don’t go there!!! If the terrace is very pleasant, and the wine list (overpriced) provided, starters and dishes are tasteless and without any interest. Go on your way!

An army of waiters and yet the service is terrible. Never available when we wanted to ask something. We were placed on a tiny table in the corner while 10 other tables were free. We asked to get a better table, and they told us none were available. Those 10 tables stayed free until we left 2h later. Bread was dry. Food wasn't bad though and one very young waiter who wasn't assigned to our table was very nice.
