A dark English Pub in downtown Basel. You pay at the bar, they serve the food, doesn't follow up if anything else is needed. Food average priced, not much can be said about the taste. Walking distance to the train station which was convenient for us.

Great pub with lots of decoration in the middle of the city center. You can sit both outside and inside. There are many different beers and various finger foods. We were there with a group and we all had fish and chips. The food was on the table quickly and tasted good. The service tried very hard. We will definitely come again.

Since my apprenticeship and that was a while ago🤣, I always like to come back. My Scottish partner also loves the pub when he's here in Switzerland.🏴————————🇨🇭

Was a properly authentic pub with a great atmosphere. The Pale Ales on tap were good and they tasted fresh which is a nice change as often on tap beer in Switzerland can be a little bit stale. We sat here for a good couple of hours and it was welcoming and fun.

1 carton of beer is always 0.3 liters of beer. Not 0.25 liters! And these 0.25 liters cost Fr. 5.00 in self-service. Sorry, that's bullshit!

Despite reservations, unable to bring more than 4 meals at a time. If there are 9 people, someone ends up eating alone. And the last delivery came 1 hour after ordering. Staff avoided us because they knew they screwed up

A proper Irish Pub on an otherwise touristy stretch of Basel. Friendly folk and good beer on draft. Lots of history inside and sports are always on the TV.

Worst service I ever experienced in CH. Waitress in foul mood, no friendliness whatsoever. Slaps the food on the table w/o a word, doesn't remove empty glass. When I complaint, she just walked away. The manager immediately pulled the "you are raising your voice" card! That's how this wimp is addressing patron's complaints! Well the fish rots from it's head.

Nice pub in Basel,all the sports etc, food looks ok, I know it’s Switzerland but 25 for a curry? I had 3 beers and to be honest they were all flat, you would not get away with it in England. Everything else is fine.

Great place to have some afterwork drinks on weekdays. They also arrange events like karoake nights, live shows and sports evenings which makes the place a regular Hangouts place even for the weekends. Right at the center of the night life street in Basel, so if you are in party mood you can quickly switch to one of the few dancing places around. Very nice and friendly staff members, few of them are working there for more than 10 years so they really care about their guests. Always feel great to hangout.

Nice pub with good atmosphere, quite spacious inside even though facade suggests otherwise. Good beer selection (though a bit pricey), their house red ale is pretty nice. Can't say much about the food, though the nachos I ordered had a lot of cheese and very brittle tortilla chips so it was an exercise in frustration.

We had great time at this pub! The girl in the bar was very helpful,kind and she was speaking very good english(i'm sorry i can't remember her name). Very nice place to enjoy a variety of beers and very delicious food! The portions were big! It's a typical irish pub! We will visit again the pub in our next trip there! 😊

Been coming here for 30 years and made some friends in Basel here back in the day. Friendly, really well-managed "community" pub feel. People come in and ask at the bar about darts teams, watch football, chat at the bar... Just a very welcoming place - for me, I try to end all of my training runs here if I'm in Basel (not as often as I wished). Good selection of beers.

Closed at 12pm instead of 1am like it said on google maps.

We were there on a Saturday evening. Of course it was full but a little more friendliness from the staff wouldn't have taken any time. That was pretty lackluster. Since the prices would suggest service, you have to go to the bar to order. The food was then served and was also good. We didn't leave completely upset, but you can certainly find better places in Steinenvorstadt.

I'm so sorry a small group of my compatriots showed such disrespect to some of your French guests, which i challenged. Its the main reason I support rugby over football. But aside from that all of your staff were great. Thank you!

Nice crowded noisy atmosphere because of the world cup footy but don't expect a wide choice of beers like Beer Revier in Markthalle.

Fine place to grab a beer or more, edcellent atmosphere, also have several pub-sport like tablefootball ans darts. The also have a very unique karaoke nights, with a flawless speaker-singer! Very recommended!

The manager is anti-Ukrainuan. I went in last night with my Ukrainian friend and he said last time I was there I threw a drink over a male member of staff, strange because he was the only male member of staff working that night. The real reason is one of the regulars was Russian and didn't want us there. I've had no problems in any of the other Pickwick bars, just this one. He shouldn't be in charge with that attitude.

We wait more than 40 mins to have our food, we go ask and first they say we did not order anything. Then they find our food and they do not bring to our table we bring it by ourselves. Then we ask if the chips were included and the answer “read better our menu”!! Really?! Not the first time the same type of experience in this place. Never again honestly and I do not suggest anyone to go
