NA081 in Zürich

There were 12 of us, we had booked a table at 9:40 and arrived at 9:51. The waiter tells us that we are late and that it is impossible to eat now. We spoke in Italian and while I was translating what he was saying into French for two friends, he interrupted me to tell me that "he can speak French too", as if I had said something bad, when I was simply explaining the situation. In a very arrogant way he explains to me that I'm not from Switzerland, so I don't know "the rules" well but here, that's how it works. In short, there is nothing to discuss, we have to leave. An Italian friend who was there goes to talk to him and "as if by magic", the kitchen opens and we can order pizzas. Then he explains to her that he didn't want to serve us because he doesn't like the French. I'm very disappointed because the pizzas are good and I've never had any problems with the rest of the staff. But if we hadn't had an Italian friend that evening, we wouldn't have been able to eat there. To be avoided.

On site: The place was way too hot. The waitress wasn't friendly, rolled her eyes and wasn't attentive. The pizza was too wet. The fried pizza was good. Delivery: We were a little disappointed with the pizza. The ingredients were all on one Heap and not spread across the pizza. The vegetarian Ortolana had a sardine on it. The vegetables on the Ortolana pizza seemed fresh and not frozen. Although an express delivery was ordered, the pizza was only lukewarm (fortunately the delivery took place in the specified time).

If I could give 0 stars I would... terrible service, smoke throughout the restaurant making the atmosphere stifling. Ordered 3 regina, received 2 regina. Asked for a third. Received another pizza. Asked to change the pizza, brought back the same pizza with 2 more ingredients... a disaster. Paid for the meal, didn't even ask if I wanted the receipt! Avoid at all costs 🤧

Mediocre pizza, undeveloped dough, poor quality tomato. We took: a marinara (too much oregano and garlic squeezed raw on the tomato), a buffalo mozzarella made by adding a buffalo mozzarella on a Margherita pizza with mozzarella and finally a Calabrian one with very poor quality spicy salami cut into cubes. The place had a very strong smell of garlic and was particularly noisy. Dear.

Easily one of the best pizzas if not the best pizza in town!

Visit from 01/25/24 The lady's service was very unfriendly, you don't feel welcome as a guest. Pizza was ok - neither good nor bad. All in all, not recommended - especially because prices are rather high.

Disappointing experience… there is a strong draft in the restaurant, it is cold and unfortunately the ventilation is a complete disaster. We were smoked and there was always an unpleasant smoky smell in the air. After the visit, clothes and hair smell completely of smoky grease. An absolute no-go for me. The food wasn't good. Hardly salted pizzas and the quality of the ingredients leaves a lot to be desired. I definitely won't recommend this restaurant and won't go there again.

This Italian inspired restaurant is on the ground floor and easily accessible. The service was friendly and helpful. The menu is Italian with a lot of options. We came for the lunch and the lunch salad was actually excellent. They gave it to me even if I didn't take the lunch which was very nice. Five stars for that service. Everything is tasty and well done. The pizza napolitana was excellent. The coffee is good. The service was very friendly and fast throughout. You can pay at the counter when you leave. I will be returning here sometimes.

I ordered pizza delivery: bufalina and carminuccio. The first was half raw, especially the edge, and the tomato sauce was tasteless. The only thing you could taste was the third quality choice mozzarella. The second one was not even close to the same pizza I had a few months ago: basically a Marinara with a few pieces of guanciale. For this quality, even 5 chf would be overpriced. The worst pizza I had in Zurich so far.

I got the confirmation for my lunch reservation on the 2nd of January. When I got there, the doors were closed.

We had dinner there on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, the food there is not as high quality as the prices are. The pizzas are soggy and the portions are very small, after the starter and main course you are still just as hungry as before the meal. Unfortunately the service is also bad, the waitress can't seem to smile at all and we had to wait half an hour for a wine. For me there is no second time. There is video surveillance and we are not informed about it.

The pizza was decent but the customer service really bad. I booked a table for 2 through the "Reserve a table" button they have put here in Google maps. When we arrived they waiter was very rude and told me they don't accept reservations through Google. If you don't then remove the option! There was an empty table and they unhappily let us sit there but told us that the kitchen closes in 10 mins and we can only order pizzas (and so we did). 15 mins later another couple sits next to us, wanna guess what they order? Pizza and a meat plate... Unacceptable customer experience, you can find the same pizza at other Italian restaurants in Zurich but with better service.

Good pizza but not over the moon. Incredible service. I had the parmigiana pizza, which would have been better if the aubergine had tasted a bit less like oil and a bit more like aubergine. I believe they are pre-fried in too much rapeseed oil. But the dough was pretty good and airy, the tomato sauce did not leave a memorable impression on me. The vegetarian offer for the pizzas is quite scarce, most of them have meat on top. The service is, on the other hand, top notch. We were a big group, and, despite our reservation, another group was late, so we couldn’t get our table. The waitress organised for us to sit in the restaurant next door, that opened just for us, and where we were not (as we could have imagined) forgotten. We also got on the house limoncello after paying our bill.

Reserved at 9pm on a Friday. Unfortunately no table was available even after waiting 15 minutes. Totally overbooked, situation handled poorly. No communication, no drink to wait for. Various people in the same situation waiting. It's a shame, I always thought the food was good and was there 5 times

The pizzas are great, some of the rest are a bit oily for my taste. The staff was unfriendly and the restaurant was a bit carelessly furnished/untidy (with cardboard boxes lying around, dead plants).

The restaurant ‚ A081’ offered a friendly and good service. The restaurant can be quite busy with a good outside seating. Inside they also have plenty of tables, but could get quite warm next to the pizza oven. We chose Insalata Mista and Focaccia as a starter and had two different types of pizza. Especially the Pizzas were tasty and the portions were quite big! So you do not have to leave hungry. They also have lots of vegetarian options.

The best pizza in Zurich (my favourite is pizza fritta — exclusive to NA081) with the best experience — Antonella and her team remind me every time how Naples hospitality is so much more than food. Great espresso too — but really, could it be otherwise?

Food was ok. Service was poor. I ordered spaghetti with mussels and tomato sauce and received spaghetti with mussels without tomato sauce. Later I ordered fried pizza dough with Nutella and received the regular pizza dough with Nutella instead. The waiter simply screwed up the order every time because he never really listened!! He was also otherwise unfriendly and in a bad mood. The other cellarer was also totally passive aggressive towards us.

We were really looking forward to the visit because the pictures on Google promised a lot that unfortunately couldn't be kept. The service was poor and the atmosphere was below average. The pizza was mediocre and doesn't come close to the pizzas from Lugia, Napule and Piu. Unfortunately the pasta was inedible. In the end we had a high bill with little enjoyment.

If I could have given no stars I would have done so: the service is a disaster, the waitress is bitter, no effort to understand on the part of the staff not even in English, 45 minutes to be served but the restaurant is n It wasn't crowded with people, my friends ordered gnocchi which were terrible, my burrata was absolutely nothing like a burrata, it wasn't new that's for sure. I don't recommend it to anyone and I will never come back again. It is absolutely necessary to review the management of personnel and service.

We didn't manage to try the pizzas... We had a reservation. When we arrived and were told that we had to wait for more or less half an hour, even with reservation. So we ordered a few beers while we waiting. 20 minutes later the waitress came out and told us that they had no pizza dough, so they couldn't serve us. They told us that they already knew about the situation when we arrived, but that they hoped they could serve us with the help of the NA081 restaurant in Seefeld . In other words, instead of letting us know the current situation so that we could choose to have dinner somewhere else or wait for it, they made us pay for the "waiting" drinks to finally leave us until 9pm without dinner. Afterwards it was very difficult for us to find a restaurant still open for dinner at that time without a reservation in Zurich (we were 6 people). I have to say though, I can't judge if the pizzas there are actually as good as people say, but a couple weeks after we managed to have dinner in NA081 located in Seefeld, and they were not specially good. Obviously I won't try again.

Only place in Switzerland that I have found that makes pizza according to Neapolitan standards. Only place in Zurich where I could find Babba' and lemon delight as dessert

Pizza is good, but the service needs a lot of improvement. The waitress threw the glass of wine over the pizza, only apologized minutes later and gave no further apology. 25.- more expensive wine on the bill, again no excuse.

An italian friend recommended me this restaurant, and ai gotta say, it did not disappoint. This is probably one of my favourite italian restaurants in Zurich. We ordered a pasta and a pizza, and they’re came out super delicious!! Really love it! Will definitely come back for more

Neapolitan restaurant near Zurich central station. Small but nice atmosphere (too crowded for my taste) The pizza is really excellent. A small criticism for the fried pizza. unfortunately soaked in oil and so inedible. Very nice staff. Average prices for Zurich. Anyway you feel a bit of Italianness, it feels like being in Naples. Food was good but the waiter and waitress kept looking at us as if they had never seen a coloured person before. 😆 other than that the experience was ok. Considering a lot of tourist come to Zurich being a lot friendlier would go a long way.

Mega fine arancini, which unfortunately were still ice cold at the core. Unfortunately the focaccia was slightly burnt. But the main courses were truly phenomenal. Italian atmosphere through and through, also when it comes to the coziness of the service.

The food was all super delicious! I had the Talgliatelle with fresh pesto and my sister had a pizza, it was very tasty. I loved the homemade tiramisu and was a perfect ending. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant.

Delicious pizzas. However, practically every pizza has really charred parts of the crust on the edge, which is not particularly healthy and also a waste. But the edible part of the pizza is really great.

Pizza absolutely great! Large selection, good quality. It's worth reserving a table. Many spontaneous guests couldn't find a place...

I was really disappointed. We were the first ones there, so for a while the only people in the restaurant. I'd really have expected the staff to notice us just because of that! The starter I had (the first one on there - potato croquettes with smoked cheese basically) was frozen in the middle! I sent it back, very politely, and was brought another. Exactly the same. This time I didn't want to try a third, but didn't get an option to say so. The unsmiling waiter took it away, yelled overe about everything being ok, and didn't come back again until he brought our mains. The pizzas were good. However, any pizza in a wood oven is better, so I'm not sure with that in mind they were worth the price. After we shared a tiramisu. It was not a 10.50 chf sized portion. It tasted fine but nothing special. I won't come back here.

Food excellent! Be sure to reserve a table in advance! We ate here on a Friday. It is strongly recommended to reserve!! The restaurant was really full and the noise level was very high. We had reserved a table for 8 p.m. and had to wait until we could sit down at our table (~8:15 p.m.). The service wasn't very attentive and we had to wait quite a long time until we could order something and until our food finally came. However, the wait was worth it because the food was excellent! Especially the fried antipasti and the delicious pizzas!
