Excellent restaurant! Min. Top 3 in Zurich

The selection and quality of meat is excellent. The prices are nightmare but because we are in Zurich. And we don't even talk about the wine list, which is enormously extensive. The most normal one is around €90. The service is excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the product and the atmosphere of the place is very very pleasant.

A bit pricey but great steak and atmosphere.

I recently visited at Napa Grill on my birthday, and it was an exceptional experience. Located near the Zurich Google office, the restaurant boasts a wonderful atmosphere that complements its culinary offerings. The menu at Napa Grill is a nod to tradition, featuring a selection of delicious dishes. I opted for the New York steak, which was perfectly accompanied by grilled vegetables and sweet potatoes. Each component of the meal was flavorful and well-prepared. It’s worth noting that every steakhouse has its own unique approach to preparing steaks, and Napa Grill was no exception. The taste was distinct and memorable. For my starter, I chose a special item from the menu. The quality and taste of this dish were truly remarkable, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to excellence in every aspect of their offerings. Napa Grill’s extensive wine collection was impressive, and I was pleased to find my favorite Pinot Noir among their selection. The wine perfectly complemented my meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. A delightful surprise was the birthday cake, thoughtfully arranged by my girlfriend and presented by the restaurant. This thoughtful gesture added a personal touch to the celebration. In conclusion, I highly recommend Napa Grill to anyone looking to savor a new taste in grilled steak. While the prices may be slightly higher compared to other steakhouses, the exceptional food quality, customer service, and ambiance justify the expense. It is with great enthusiasm that I award Napa Grill a well-deserved five stars.

Unfortunately there was no sommelier in the restaurant today, but that wasn't a bad thing because we received excellent advice from dear Albert and in the end found the right wine for us. On the occasion of a birthday I had the opportunity to dine at NapaGrill. Delicious Filet Mignon, try it!

First class service and quality of food. Meat was exactly as requested. Very nice wine selection. The price is already high, but fair for the performance. We're going again.

they don't know how to cook the meat !

The meat was perfect on the inside, but unfortunately slightly charred on the outside, which had a noticeably negative effect on the eating experience. Some of the grilled vegetables also tasted slightly charred. The mint ice cream for dessert was a revelation. You have to try this! The service was very accommodating!

Beers didnt arrive, despite ordering them at the beginning. Starters were forgotten and then brought after the mains. Half the items on the menu were not available, despite it being a quiet tuesday; what kind of steak house only has 2 pieces of "cut of the day" and is sold out of it at 19:15?! 300g/400g steaks available on the menu, when we ordered they only had the 300g option left. Again, what kind of steak house runs out of steak!? Wine menu, despite being lengthy only had 6 wines that I counted under CHF100, on 27 pages. Service was pretty bad. Atmosphere was non-existant. Venue itself looks nice. Valet parking available, for CHF15. I'd rather park my car myself, thank you very much. Fitting, with the rather expensive theme. Would not visit again. Many better steak houses in Zurich for the same or lesser prices.

Wanted a coffee and dessert. The chef told us that the kitchen was closed but we should have coffee. He was nice enough to clarify with the service staff, which the person said yes. When we weren't served after a long wait and wanted to leave, a service employee came to us and said that we weren't important, just the people who were eating there. Mind you, the kitchen was already closed. Apparently, this restaurant divides guests into two classes. Not recommendable!

Our go to steak house in Zurich, also conveniently located just 10 min walk from home. Good cut and quality of meat, more on a rare side though (better than over done). The bacon dish is so tasty and fun for kids, genius that they came up with such way of cooking and displaying. Just a pity that wine selection is only with wine from the US, quite unexpected that they don’t have any wine from Europe despite of the fact that we are in the middle of so many nice wineries

Was exited for the experiance and hype on this place.. but reality hit once the tomahawk came overgrilled on the outside and more rear then medium rear in the inside. Fantastic wine selection no dought but if the cheepest wine starts @ 160 and waiter will not take you serius if not a 300chf botle is ordered.. also service was ok but not what you expext with Napa in the name.. american loved empaty was absolutly missing.. here the restaurant showed its swiss closeness.. hence overall it is unfortunately Overrated especially for the price.. Yes we in Zurich but are still looking for real value at this top prices so expectation clearly not met..

In Group. Green salad with 2 bacon bits and 3 croutons... No interest. Meat overcooked, they didn't even ask for cooking.

Napa!, where the steak is so big it almost takes a fitness routine to handle it! The 1100 gram portion has a little bonus - about half of it is bones. I thought I was getting a steak, but apparently I'm starting my own 'survival training!' Oh yes, and we waited a full 40 minutes for a medium rare. Good things take time - or the kitchen at 'Napa' specializes in time travel!"

Truly enjoyed our dining experience here. The service was excellent. Our ribeye steak was delicious & cooked perfectly. The sommelier recommended some fabulous wines that we had not tried before. We live in the US & visit Napa often, but the wines at Napa grill were outstanding! Cozy comfortable place to eat. We loved it!! Would like to especially thank Damir & Albert for accommodating us when we had to change our reservation!

The experience was incredible, the attention and service was very good, they explained the menu well to us. The food was delicious, the ribs were delicious and the meat was just right. I was celebrating my birthday and they gave me a birthday dessert, a friend from the restaurant even had a treat with us and we were able to try an excellent quality wine.

Top location especially for steak lovers. The attention to details can be seen everywhere, from the decorations to the preparation of food.

Very fine restaurant! Very good food, good wine, good service. For me personally the price is a bit too high. So we paid around 170 per head for a starter, main course and drinks (cheapest wine). I can still recommend it!

We tried bone-in ribeye and crab cakes. Both were delicious. The sides were very good as well. Service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has amazing selection of California wines. The best I have seen in Europe. We tried Mojave Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley. The wine was devine.

Great steakhouse, great quality, top wines

Napa Grill offers a fantastic dining experience with great service and a cozy, upscale ambiance. The burger bun could be improved, as it was a bit fluffy, and the meat could use a touch more salt. However, the wine selection and staff were excellent.

What a success! One weekend in Zurich with friends, we quickly browsed Google maps and came across this gem, without reservation we were very quickly seated on the terrace, a superb terrace where the tables are far from each other which is very pleasant. The menu is presented to us, we take 340gr New York steaks (79.-) accompanied by corn with bacon (simply magnificent, it melts in the mouth with the pieces of bacon adding a delicious flavor) and fries. The sommelier recommended a great Californian wine that went perfectly with the meat. We were recommended to try the organic bacon (32.-), which was delicious, it melted in the mouth and the homemade chips underneath were very thick, a real treat. We finished with the chocolate dessert (16.-), balls filled with melting chocolate accompanied by lemon ice cream, a superb end note. Staff who listen and take great care, an experience that I recommend. We finished with a quick guided tour of the interior of the restaurant, they offer the reservation of a “Circle room” located upstairs and can accommodate around twenty guests, what a space, sumptuous! My only regret is that this restaurant is not closer to Geneva because I would have returned there regularly! See you soon,

The service of Monica was wonderful, she speak a lot of languages, and is professional in her job, and she recommends us tomahawk, and was the best decision, food was divine, I had an orgasm with all this food

We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. The card was explained to us by the employee. She gave us certain recommendations, we decided on the porterhouse steak and medium rare. Before the main course we decided on different starters. Porterhouse was so tender and buttery, yet medium rare with no bloody aftertaste. When I think back, the only place I've had such a good steak was at Keens Steakhouse (NYC). Respect, a great experience, but it has its price, but in my opinion it is justified. The desserts were small but delicious. My cheesecake was very tender and not overly sweet. The evening was a successful evening and I will definitely come back. Keep it up.

Average steakhouse and pretty pricey The starter was some bacon on a line with round chips. Again pretty simple. Steak was good, not quite medium rare, more medium. Cheese cake was below average Nice staff CHF 456 for three

There is really excellent meat here, cooked to perfection. The service is also top and the wine selection including advice is also impeccable. But you have to be aware that the prices are extremely high. For a steak for 120.00 I would expect that there would be a small side dish (the side dishes are really small) and not cost an additional 9.50.

We went to napa grill for our anniversary and the service was great but we ordered a 300 chf steak (porterhouse 60 days) and it tasted burnt with every mouthful - very disappointing

Decoration was quite nice, and the majority of the staff were friendly. The food seemed overprised.. On the latest menu compared to two years ago, the burger had cheese and other ingredients as extras, while before the burger included all the toppings as standard. We have also asked for it to be well made, but it was pink inside..

Excellent service and although we sent back one of our mains for being a little undercooked, we were brought a new one. Stuff is very friendly and knowledgeable, great meat quality and overall great value for money!

To avoid, as a Lausanne resident, we do not recommend this restaurant, which is very arrogant in terms of its welcome. We asked for meat cooked to medium rare, without any accompaniment to avoid…

Well … Well, I wouldn't know where to start really. Location: beautiful, stylish and well-kept environment, conducive to business lunch and very quiet. Same for the service, very good. But in terms of positive points, I would stop here. Prices for any dish here are really out of range. Even for Zurich. I understand the history of Napa, California and all that. But in steak to charge 400-500 .- chf per kilo...it just seems too much to me.

Probably " good bbq" from a European standard but as a texan the meats were flavorless and over complicated and the price laughable, the wait staff were exceptional but overall in short, mid.

Rarely have meat been eaten as deliciously as here. Very nice atmosphere. I think it's great that the tables aren't so close and you have space. The Somelier chose the wine for us, which is a big plus point. The meat was perfect. The only negative point is that the sauces are served in bowls that are far too small. A little more sauce would be great. But otherwise gladly again...

Apparently this is a popular place for locals. We just happened to pass by and we were looking for a place to eat, went in , they told us they are all booked, but they can give us one hour and 30 minutes to eat. We were really hungry and agreed. Let me tell you, being a New Yorker , we kind of get used to high prices. But this one was way too high. A burger is about $55 , and it was not even great, it was simply ok. We ordered grilled vegetables, and I couldn’t even tell which ones were to eat, and which one are for decorations. Didn’t like the vegetables at all. Rib eye steak ( which cost us about $95)was the only very tasty dish, the other steak was very very rubbery. The service was good , very polite people, I even felt that they were fakingly too polite . That was THE MOST EXPENSIVE place we ever ate. Lol.

Had dinner here because this restaurant was highly recommended by a friend but was disappointed. The food was ok, but it did not justify the high price tag (even considering these are Zurich prices). Staff was nice-ish, but didn't really bother to explain the different types of steaks on offer, and the one we had was a bit chewy. The cheesecake was good. The place looked really nice and was quiet when we were there (for an early dinner).

I had the honey glazed spare ribs. The meat was tender but without the additionally provided sauce, the meat would have been tasteless. The „Napa the Bear“ wine was fantastic and so was the truffle mayonnaise.

Very good Porterhouse steak, not the best if in Napa, but might be among the bests in Zurich. The bacon sampler is interesting, and potato chips was fantastic

We spent a wonderful evening at NapaGrill. We received great advice on both the wine and food selections. The service was always very attentive but never intrusive. The preparation of the porterhouse steak was perfect and the dessert was also very tasty.

Very good food, great ambience and good service, if the price were right it would probably be unbeatable. Unfortunately the prices are very high, the meat is absolutely reasonable and actually reasonable compared to others, but I think you should get 1-2 side dishes included and not pay another 10 for 3-4 broccoli. The wine list is huge and the prices are only open at the top. Bottle prices under 90.- are rather a rarity, which is a shame... Nevertheless, I give 5 stars for the performance and the quality and honestly, as long as the store is full I wouldn't change the prices... All in all great but you have to expect at least 200 per person

After several attempts, we finally visited Napa Grill for the first time yesterday. Everything was just right here! Food, service, ambience: 10/10 Very friendly and pleasant service! Kind regards to Jakob! You want someone like him when you are a guest in a restaurant. Keep it up!

Very nice restaurant in the "industrial style". Great service with an extensive menu of various and special meat dishes. There is also a very extensive wine list in all price ranges. We had a business lunch at a beautiful, long wooden table, which is ideal for larger groups (approx. 10 people) as you don't have to sit separately or spread across tables. The size of the restaurant is also definitely a plus point, which makes it possible to get up from the table without causing tables and chairs to move around a lot. The meat was of very good quality and of high quality. Definitely not a place for vegetarians or vegans, even if there are a few options (e.g. BeyondMeat Burger), because as the name suggests, everything here revolves around meat and is celebrated that way.

Service was very accommodating. Pleasant atmosphere. The meat is some of the best I've eaten in Europe so far. We will be back definitely. Another tip: Next time you could ask about the cooking level for the meat. It was suitable for me, but my wife would have liked it to be a little more well-done.

Good service but high prices. For 220g of filet mignon (visually it was more like 200g) an impressive CHF 85.- and then for a small bowl of fries CHF 9.50. Unfortunately, this is absolutely overpriced!

The rating reflects the absurd prices. Meat is too expensive, George Bar and Grill or Aura propose better tasting meat at lower price point. Napa valley wine is completely overrated and overpriced and there are almost no other options which is sad. Service is top notch though so if you dont care about prices you will actually enjoy the place a lot!

The place to go for good US meat and wine.

Very good quality meat and a nice selection of wines. The service was not very attentive and the waiting times for food/drinks were rather long.

I went to Napa Grill for the first time to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I was outstandingly surprised not only by the good meat quality - which is definitely one of the best meats I had in my whole life, and I am Brazilian and I had lots of good churrascos in my life. But what really made me astonished was the FANTASTIC quality service made by Dariusz. He was the responsible for making our night even more special. Always coming with good suggestions specially the wine. I even tried another wine that I choose by myself but without comparison his suggestion was wayyyy better. Going out to have a nice dinner always can be a good experience, but having someone like Dariusz serving us made the experience unforgettable. Thank you Nappa and Dariusz for making my wedding anniversary even more special tonight. :)

Very good meat, nicely cooked to medium rare. The local beer is also worth checking out. Minus one star for the somewhat ill-mannered host, who told us "to order more than just a salad" if we want to sit at a table. In an empty restaurant, seriously?

If you’re looking for a true US steakhouse experience, this is the best place in Zurich! Great wine selection from Napa Valley, high quality California steak and attentive service. Have been coming here more frequently after the first visit, it’s the “go-to spot” when we’re in the mood for a steak!

Good food but very expensive and dishonest. 19.- for two sides of fries. Paid the amount of the bill the waitress comes back saying that she didn’t cash the whole amount asking for more money and she actually added two more coffees we didn’t take! Too bad, the place was nice.

We went out to eat and had filet and rib eye. It was super delicious with the taste of the grill. The side dishes and sauces were also fine. Unfortunately there was also something that was a No G. The receptionist kept petting other customers' dogs and immediately afterwards served and cleared away plates. That was a shame
