Yes, we came as a group late at lunchtime. Guest room drafty and yet cold to the feet. The salad came and vinegar and oil were at the table. The dressing that was offered after about 10 minutes was a little late. This continued while we waited for the pizza of the day, it took a while... But it was really very good.

Unique pizza to recommend! The oven in the restaurant makes it warm, but otherwise there is a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.

The original Napule restaurant is in Meilen. The pizza is the classic recipe and does not disappoint! The waitstaff is super nice and accommodating. Give Napule a try the next time you are looking for a pizza!

We were there on a Sunday, ordered caprese, disappointing to say the least. No basil and tasteless tomato and topped with onion sprouts. Ok, waited for the so called best pizza, another disappointment, for the price of 37.50chf for the star pizza, it's certainly not worth it. Will definitely not be going back again. Service was good .

The pizza was good, with a nice dough on the side. However, the middle was not cooked properly and the size was not really according to price for Zurich standard. The service was very badly organized and it took more than 1h30 after ordering to receive the pizza, even though the restaurant was not really full. Would not come back.

Excellent, friendly and professional staff

As a Neapolitan, I was very impressed by the taste and quality of the ingredients that are used for the pizzas. The dough is good and the products used are excellent, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover a corner of Naples in Zurich

The pizza was good, but I've had better Neapolitan pizzas. The waitress was friendly, but took our order incorrectly. The price is far too high and not justified. It's good if you're in the mood for pizza, but not a restaurant worth a second visit.

Oh well. A lot of hype that honestly wasn't fulfilled. World champion of pizza art? I couldn't recognize that. Our pizzas consisted of up to 5cm edges and a lake in the middle, which made the pizza very soft. The taste of the pizza itself was good, but given the choice, I would always choose a thin, crispy pizza from Ticino over this one. The service was reasonably friendly, but German seems to be just a necessary evil. Menu and serving staff operate in Italian.

Supposedly the best pizza outside of Italy as judged by Gambero Rosso, made by a 3 x pizza world champion. Whether this claim is true or not, I still love the place. Great combinations of pizzas (the pistachio creme and mortadella being a favourite), Neapolitan style dough and side dishes (such as frittata), super friendly stuff, slightly kitschy but perfect neoplaton decor. Always a delight to go to the OG spot on Meilen, with kids or on a date.

Great world champion pizza. The other pizzas are very good, the ham on the prosciutto has a juicy very good taste.

To this day it is the best pizza I have ever eaten, the dough is delicious, very light and crumbly, the ingredients are excellent and of high quality. The tiramisu is nothing short of sublime 😊. The place is very simple and welcoming, a quality that I appreciated, the focus is on quality rather than appearance. The staff is very kind and courteous. I will definitely return because I perceived excellent values. Thank you for this culinary journey.

Of course, as the name implies, you get Neapolitan pizza. There are also unusual pizzas such as: B. Pizza with pumpkin sauce etc. to choose from, which surprisingly tastes good.

Wow, what an amazing Italian Restaurant. Until now the best pizza I have ever eaten. The restaurant is small and has it's own italian charm. The service is very friendly and quickly too. The pizza's are just wow. You can taste the smooth and fresh dough with the super delicious toppings. The only negative point, the pizza was not spicy at all. I orderd the vesuvio. If you want to taste a real italian pizza then come here a order one. The prices seems to be high on the first sight. Once you bite the pizza you will not regret a single cent of it. I highly recommand this for everyone.

Not quite at the level that was achieved years ago. Pricing is ‘imaginative’ - owing to the affluent environment perhaps? Service is ok but could have been more attentive during a lunch with few guests present.

One of the best pizzerias in the canton of Zurich and beyond. The pizzas are naturally their strong point, very light dough and quality products. Friendly staff, the environment is very small and private but sometimes the tables are really too close to each other.

Very unique and delicious pizza by a celebrity chef (read up on this place)! We had the Pizza Mortadella and Pizza Parmigiana (special) and the tiramisu. The dough of the pizza (Neapolitan) was just amazing, gooey but fresh, very porous and light. The flavors of pizza were delicious with fresh ingredients and good meat. Overall a nice and gourmet kind of pizza, not your typical or average pizza experience. The prices were a bit of the higher side but since food was delicious, that was acceptable to us. The tiramisu was delicious, perfectly sweet (not too sweet) and didn’t have much liquor at all (which we prefer). The service was nice and friendly. Would highly recommend for a gourmet or different pizza experience.

The pizza 🍕 is very tasty 😋 but too expensive. Quality has its price but a pizza with vegetables and fresh porcini mushrooms for CHF 35 is too much. The waitress spoke very poor German and ordered part of the order incorrectly or not ordered at all. It's a shame ☹️

The prices are of course the only thing that could be regulated differently, here I'm mainly talking about the prices of the pizzas. (25-37) My personal wishes were implemented very generously. I was curious to experience their pizza, since we were visiting Napoli three weeks earlier and discovered the first place were the pizza margarita was born. Pizza was ok, but in full transparency it's overprized. There is no evident reason to ask for this amount. On top the service was very basic.

Probably the most expensive pizzeria in Switzerland. 30 - 37 CHF for a pizza is record-breaking, quality is maximum average. The dough looks great, but unfortunately it is soggy.

Very mediocre overpriced pizzas. Unfortunately the dough isn't crispy at all, but rather soggy because the mozzarella water has soaked through. In addition, half the pizza is often burned. The pizzeria is located in the center of Meilen and is easily accessible by public transport and car. There are no own parking spaces, but there are enough paid parking spaces in the area. The restaurant is rather small (approx. 50 seats) and cramped. The restaurant is decorated in a very original way with pictures of stars, really great. We were warmly welcomed and served promptly. The drinks and pizzas arrived quickly after ordering. They tasted good, but were a bit sparsely topped. The range of different pizzas is ok. The prices for the pizzas are in the high price segment, those for the drinks are in the medium price range. The bruschettas and lemon sorbes were offered. I didn't particularly like the coffee. The toilets were clean and tidy.

The pizza is great, the service was nice, but I didn't speak German very well (neither on the phone nor on site) and the ambience unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The starter came with the main course. The chairs and tables are very close together so that if someone at the back table stands up, you are almost forced to stand up too (outdoors). And unfortunately the sun was on the other side of the house.

Pizza soggy, mozzarella not cooked through! Reservation was forgotten. Mozzarella sits on the pizza like chewing gum and feels exactly the same. We then went to Dominos Pizza 🍕... unfortunately the price-performance ratio is subpar. It's a shame, it was really good 4 years ago :(...

Quality of pizza 5 stars. not big but OK. The price is definitely too high. No matter which pizza, you practically pay a pizza almost like a meat fillet, but you'd rather pay 34.50 for a Donna Carmela pizza than 24.50 for a Margherita. Service is ok, except that if you make a reservation at 9 p.m. (reservation times), customers are not even asked if they want something before the kitchen closes. Recommendation: If you want to be comfortable, you should make reservations at other times. Ambience is ok, rustic, the music was a bit too loud but acceptable.

The pizza is very good. 1 dl of red house wine open for CHF 10.00 is too much, but very good and was perfect with the pizza

Top pizzas. I took what if I remember correctly is called "bella Italia" with ham, parmesan and rocket: what can I say? Delicious dough and not to mention the quite generous and tasty seasoning! The focaccia with broccoli is equally good. Super recommended!

This pizza is an absolute highlight. The fuss about this pizzeria is really justified. Insane! However, you have to be prepared for Napoleonic cuisine and don't expect American pizza. Reading through the reviews, I think this needs to be pointed out.

Wine and pizza MEGAL DELICIOUS. In itself a cozy restaurant that makes you feel good. But far too loud - bad pop music - which spoiled my taste. The service/kitchen staff communicated shoutingly over a distance - which was also very unpleasant for me - It had a “take away” character and the effect of the delicious food was significantly weakened. While I was eating, the tables next to me were sprayed - which had an additional disruptive effect on my taste experience. A VERY Pity - that the high quality of the food - for which I am happy to pay a high price - is so diminished by poor and inconsiderate service. Very good... true Neapolitan.. Cold place but friendly staff

I'm shocked. My quest for proper pizza north of the alps, which lasted now 25 years, unexpectedly ended yesterday evening. To cite a famous movie: "....and I thought: My God, the genius of that. The genius! The will to do that: perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure."

The pizzas are good (the prices are still indecent but you know that when you go there). The bruschette as a starter was even excellent. There are black and white photos of people hanging on the walls. The service during our visit was completely overwhelmed, slow and unfriendly. And that even though the restaurant was less than 50% occupied.

You can eat good pizza there. I really enjoyed going there.

I had a Margherita pizza today and it was the best pizza I've tried. Fior di Latte, buffalo 🐃 mozzarella, St. Marzano tomato sauce flavorful, finest olive oil, fresh basil, and dough melts in your mouth, wood oven. And what I didn't like at all were the video cameras that undermined my personal privacy and anonymity. I felt like I was in big brother. It becomes questionable whether I will return will eat there.

I was lucky: the edge of my pizza was hardly burnt at all, unlike everything around it. But they were still muddy. The taste is ok, but the consistency is baby porridge. Service is quick and charming, but a little more knowledge of German would also be nice in a pizzeria. The tiny restaurant is very loud. There is no soundproofing of any kind (curtains, cushions, tablecloths for example) and background music was just annoying under the circumstances. Given the quality, the prices are completely exorbitant and the menu is really very small. Definitely not worth the miles.

Furbi... The pizzas are good quality. Not really big and the borderline high price just reflects miles and the world championship claim. The pizzeria has no aspirations for star cuisine and is accordingly simply furnished. Blunt knives, Italian dialect pop, the simplest furnishings. Only two house wines, 35.- gratuity for BYO. The upper floor is decorated with “awards” that are intended to underline the world champion claim. However, it is noticeable that the diploma issuers bought their paper at the same place. And a pizza award from the US Embassy, ​​you can only smile. Now to the unpleasant part: we had a voucher that had a remaining amount of 20 after the meal. The waiter wanted to collect this first and had to be asked in Italian to quickly fill out one of the receipts at the cash register.

It's about pizza and one of the top 3 in Zurich. The ingredients are excellent, the pizza is certainly one of the best in Switzerland. The restaurant is rather small and reservation is recommended. The loud music is rather disruptive for a business lunch. The food is convincing across the board. The espresso could be better, the crema was good but not on par with the pizza.

My partner & I visited this location this evening. The antipasti platter was super tasty, the quality and the price were right! Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was really good, because the pizzas were both sparsely topped and the oversized edges were pretty well charred... The service was probably the worst we had ever experienced in a restaurant! The lack of coordination between service and kitchen did not go unnoticed by us! Especially the young lady in service was so arrogant and unfriendly, I don't even know how to put it into words..!! If I have to pay such high prices, as a guest I expect the quality to be good overall. Unfortunately we couldn't experience that today in the Napule restaurant. It's a shame... a cook greets you

Every pizza I've eaten here so far has been simply great. I would even say that they are the best pizzas I have ever had. Accordingly, the price is also a bit high.

Incredibly unfriendly, make mistakes and charge the full price, especially the bearded Stoffel in service failed in his job. The pizza maker, on the other hand, was shouted at by him, but was basically very nice and tried hard. Pizza is just average, so-so - tastes ok but overall soggy and overrated. Unfortunately I don't have a tattoo, otherwise I might have gotten a discount to compensate for their misunderstanding when ordering ;-) Never again...

Personally, I think the pizza is good but far from world class. In my opinion it's simply too expensive for what you get
