I took a sushi course here and was able to get to know the service, eat and enjoy the ambience. Really highly recommended.

The fact that you have to sit at floor level at tables set into the ground was an amusing surprise. And a challenge for people with physical movement difficulties. But it was fun to watch my own gymnastics exercises and those of the people sitting next to me at the table. The ambience is pleasant, the accompanying music is not too loud and disturbing. Kudos to the lady who served our table, I felt very well looked after with her. The only big negative point: the toilets smell very unpleasant. I hope this comes from the construction site that was in front of the house when we visited. All in all, very satisfactory. Gladly again.

The sushi was super fresh and simply DELICIOUS!

A very pleasant, cozy and authentic Japanese restaurant. Right from the start, I appreciate the extremely nice staff who advised on the selection and taught me a trick to hold the chopsticks more easily. The food was of a very high standard. If you have the chance, sit right next to the bar to soak up the truly authentic atmosphere.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Zurich

It’s a real nice cozy place I loved the interior designs. They had good service as well. The sushi was decent not mind blowing but definitely not bad either. Since I’m a tourist I can’t say much however compared to where I live (Sweden) the prices were on the higher side here.

We had sushi and some dessert today. It was fine. The staff, especially Peti the sushichef was very helpful and nice.

Good food, nice service and nice to sit down. Sometimes you can only sit at the table with socks on, very comfortable.

It's a shame you can no longer pay in cash.

There is a smell of feces in the restaurant. It was explained to us that this was a problem in Niederdorf. However, it wasn't our first time there and, apart from the toilets, it never smelled like that. In our opinion, the sushi and sashimi wasn't really good either. We won't eat there anymore.

Dull and tasteless noodle soup. Too expensive too. EDIT: following the owner's request, I sent him an email with detailed feedback on our experience in his establishment. No response, no feedback or comments from him. Not very nice...

Yesterday we were at the all you can eat in Niederdorf. When we received the bill we were totally shocked. For a Cola Zero in a CAN 5.30?! For a jug of water from the tap you pay CHF 11.—?! I would understand it with San Pelegrino or Voss water and cola in a glass bottle. So people, when you eat there, make sure you don't drink too much. Food was very good but sushi makes you thirsty.

Well located, perfect for a lunch stop, especially when the weather is good. The service is not that fast, but it is friendly. The food is fine as always, even if the leaf salad (bento box) is quite a challenge with the chopsticks. The miso soup we also ordered is also very tasty, but unfortunately it is served almost at the same time as the main course. It doesn't matter - sushi doesn't get cold. It's a bit of a shame that you can't order online from the online menu. Otherwise a good place for old and young.

The location is really nice(rooftop restaurant). Partly inside, but you can also sit outside. The whole restaurant it's decoration is awesome. From the entrance to the toilet(very special lol). Service is quick and friendly. The food is ok, we ate quite a lot of sushi in different restaurants and some stand out, but most of them all taste the same(like this one). This in combination with the high price makes is mediocre at best. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

For me, the Negishi Sushi Bar is a good Chinese restaurant that also prepares fresh sushi. I was there again recently and I have to say that since the new staff has been there you can really enjoy the kitchen. The innovative and friendly staff also put in a lot of effort. Overpriced pre-made garbage. Our first day in Zurich and we ended up in this fail of a sushi restaurant because we were craving sushi. What a shame! Avoid this place.

Very good restaurant but I find it quite expensive for the food (not that it doesn't deserve it, but to be full it quickly gets expensive). Maybe put some music a little more in line with the theme of the restaurant. Because Indian and electro Thai music isn’t great… Otherwise very well received, fast and pleasant service and it’s a very good idea to be able to see your bill from your phone before even paying!

Really great sushi, especially the boxes are ideal for sharing. You can also order sushi to take away from the machines in the restaurant.

I had pre-ordered online for 5:30 p.m. (2 hours in advance) Still had to wait 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the summer roll wraps were really not fresh and tasted like they were from the day before! Unfortunately, this was very disappointing considering that you pay 14 Chf for this. Sushi was very tasty and tasted fresh, but overall overpriced.

Friendly staff, fair prices, fresh, taste quite good. These QR menu cards are very annoying. Do guests all have to look at their small cell phones when ordering? Very uncool if you just want to have fun with friends.

Sushi selection and quality is simply great. A friend tried the warm chicken versions and was unfortunately disappointed. The service staff made us wait longer and the drinks came almost immediately with the food.

I loved the selection of sushi. I’d say it’s my favourite I’ve had! Tuna futomaki is usually my go to. The right amount of spice, tuna and cucumber and the portions are amazing. You can select two pieces or 6/8 pieces. This is great compared to London where you don’t get to select your portion size. Umami roll is amazing as well! Lovely touch with the pomegranates. The sake salmon nigiri is exquisite, me and my sister were very happy!!!! The customer service is amazing! Lovely, bubbly, and so helpful. We were tourists and she gave us amazing tips and let us know what events are on, what kind of food we can get, how to get there, that really helped us explore!! Wishing the team well!! Sushi was low quality, but it didn’t make anyone ill. Fish didn’t have much flavour, there was so so much rice. Price value wise quite poor

Apparently you are only interested in people on site, because if an error occurs with an order, you push someone off the line despite describing the problem and not responding despite about 16 calls!!! I have never been treated as badly and disparagingly as I was by this staff!

Very average sushi for very high prices of everything. Food AND drinks. The service was friendly but quite slow for a half full restaurant. We also had 2 poke bowls which were very average as well. Quite a disappointment.

Classic, casual sushi bar with, among other things, a kotatsu (low tables without chairs) area. Delicious, fresh and imaginative. Friendly and quick service.

I feel scammed. Stupidly expensive bad food. The portions are as tiny as they can make them. I got salmon sushi and i couldnt even finish it, because of how bad it tasted. My cat's food probably has better quality salmon in it. Wouldn't advise anyone on eating here.

Very slow service, restaurant is untidy (cleaning products at the entrance, unused parasols, plastic boxes under the bar, etc.) Def. Not worth visiting.

The food is very tasty and the staff is extremely nice. Even though we were the only guests at the beginning, everything took a long time.

The taste of the ramen was odd, vaguely Asian, but not a Japanese flavor. I think it is among the worst ramen and sushi that I have ever had at a restaurant I haven't tried other Japanese restaurants in Zurich, so maybe it's just because we are trying to eat ramen in Switzerland, and not this specific restaurant that has a strange flavor.

The food is quite nice. Location is inside the City Center near the Grossmunster Church in Zurich. But as everything in Zurich, quite expensive.

Service was nice and the restaurant was nicely decorated. Criticism: Food: Miso soup had almost no tofu or vegetables in it. Sushi wasn't that good. Didn't taste particularly fresh, especially the crunchy prawn rolls were neither warm nor crispy. The toilets smelled awful. Had to hold our breath...

Food was excellent, staff was all very friendly and delivered great service. My family enjoyed dining there and look forward to doing so again on our next visit. Keep up the good work

Not worth the price. Sushi was just okay, I expected more with that price. The ramen is a total failure. Not tasty at all. It seemed like the broth was just water. I could say that was the worst ramen I have ever eaten in my entire life. I ended up to just eat the meat and egg from the ramen. I asked for chili oil, the staff didn’t even know that, she then brought me chili sauce that I couldn’t even put in that bad ramen.
