Fantastic ramen in Zurich served by a kind and attentive team. The restaurant is quite small and popular; therefore, it’s better to reserve a table.

Everything was great, hardly any waiting time and friendly service. The place is a bit cramped and crowded but authentic and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, no effort was made to find a seat in the half-empty restaurant.

For all sashimi and ramen fans: cold ramen noodles with yuzu miso with raw salmon and tuna, onsen egg, ginger and a kick of wasabi (CHF 34.50). Mega good! Unfortunately, non-alcoholic drinks (mint tea: 5.90, still water 5.70) are quite expensive compared to wine and prosecco (7.50). Service deduction: The restaurant was fully occupied and mistakes and mix-ups can happen when things are busy. We took it with humor, overall the dinner was very good.

Lovely staff, good atmosphere and the most important - amazing ramen!! We have tried most of the ramen’s in Zürich is this is definitely the most memorable one.

Today marked my first visit with my friends. We tried the miso ramen and mazemen, both of which were exceptional. The noodles were delightfully fresh, and the pork was of superb quality. The staff were amiable, and the overall dining experience was delightful, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

Went in with high expectations based on the rating on Google and left disappointed. Ramen is nothing special, it has a lot of room for improvement. The broth is very watery and you won't find the minced meat in it either. And if you sell Cola, the expectation is that you will also receive Coca Cola, otherwise you should declare that you will receive something different! There is much better ramen in the city!

The best ramen in Zurich and the surrounding area! We got a table straight away on Saturday without a reservation. I recommend coming on the weekend or in the evening right when it opens, as there is a high probability of getting a table without a reservation in this very busy restaurant. Otherwise, you can easily reserve online. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and warm. Our food arrived very quickly and was great both in terms of appearance and taste! Cold recommendation! ☺️

Edit: I went a second time and this time had the Shoyu Ramen which was excellent. I have adjusted my rating accordingly. I went to yume ramen for the first time today and had the miso soup. I love ramen and am always looking for restaurants that are close to the ramen shops I know in Tokyo. The initial salad is very delicate, the light wasabi dressing has just the right kick. Unfortunately, the ramen is a bit heavy on the stomach and has a certain bitterness that disturbs the appetite after eating for a long time. I definitely couldn't finish the soup. Perfect ramen harmonizes in noodles and soup and you get more hungry with every bite, unfortunately that wasn't the case here. But the home-made ginger ale was very nice. I will definitely come again to try the quality of the other dishes as well.

Yume serves very authentic Japanese ramen soups. The dishes are fresh, flavorful and served in a variety of flavors. Both lovers of meat dishes and vegetarian ones will find something suitable here. I recommend the classic miso ramen and the slightly spicier Tantanmen. Of the starters, kimchi, gyoza and konomono vegetables were very tasty. The restaurant is quite large and offers plenty of seating. The staff is very friendly and always helpful when choosing dishes.

Looking for a piece of Japan in Zurich, look no further! Absolutely magnificent ramen! I strongly advise, reservations strongly recommended. Note that the restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the station.

their bestseller tantamen is definitely a must try — very flavourful and delicious. the staff are very friendly. we were lucky to get a table after the lunch rush without any reservation. overall a positive experience.

I tried the best-selling Tantanmen Ramen in the Spicy version. My companion the normal variant. The ramen is fresh and very tasty. Absolute recommendation for ramen in the city. I was at the yume on Gessnerallee (Reitergasse 6).

Super hearty and authentic. The food has always been top! With its flair, the Yume Ramen team has brought a little piece of Japan to Zurich. :-)

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. Rather bland broth with little taste. However, noodles are very good.

Yumen Ramen in Zurich offers delicious ramen and appetizers that are a true taste experience. The food is excellent, but the price of 25 francs for a ramen is a bit high. Nevertheless, it is worth visiting the restaurant. The starter Tori No Karaage is particularly recommended. Try the different dishes and enjoy the fantastic variety of flavors!

So full and so satisfied after starters that we shared and the super spicy tantanmen. Delicious saké to go with it all.

Wonderful little ramen restaurant

We were at Yume just before Christmas break, craving a little bit of that good warm soup. The ramen blow our minds! We ordered cocktails and gyozas for starters, and later I ordered shoyu ramen and my friends had vegan ramen. It.was.so.good! The portions are generous, everything was served warm and fresh, and the staff super polite! I loved the ambient as well, like you're in Japan! Im happy that places like this exist in Zurich. Definitely coming for more!

Went for lunch but didn't impress too much. Their signature ramen (tantanmen) was very good but not really outstanding for the price. The kimichi was a disappointment and way too pricy as a small side dish. If you are nearby it's good to check out the ramen, I may need to check the other dishes at some point.

Best ramen in Zurich without doubt !

Very delicious Japanese kitchen restaurant! We had ordered 2 starters and 2 ramen, and we left very full😁 the portion of ramen is big so you can just order it if you feel full quickly. Also, I can recommend Gyoza, it was very tasty too. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got a table on Saturday evening without reservation but for a limited amount of time. Wonderful place and must visit if you like Japanese and/or Asian food 😊🙏

perfect place for a few drinks with loads of tasty snacks to share or a quick meal with a big portion of ramen. sitting very close to neighbouring tables can't hurt in uptight zurich, i prefer the rather unconventional counter anyways, but you might want to skip here if you're in need of a lot of privacy or quiet during the weekend

It could be better, even if you are used to Zurich service. For example, in an empty restaurant and during the week, the first thing they do is put a note in front of you saying that the slot will be over in 3/4 hours and that you have to leave again at the latest. The desire to have main course after starter is ignored, everything comes together. This means the ramen is cold after the appetizer. There is no wardrobe to hang your winter coat. The sticks are the cheapest wooden sticks available. The egg is thrown whole into the soup, which is rather small and carelessly prepared.

It’s an “ok” restaurant. I ordered the best-selling ramen and I confess that I expected more. I found it expensive for what they offer compared to other similar restaurants. It was a cold and rainy day and there is a table for 2 very close to the door which keeps opening and closing several times as customers arrive. If you want to reserve a table for 2 at this restaurant, avoid the one next to the door. In addition, they charged 5 francs for a glass of TAP water.

We spontaneously came by right at opening time and were lucky that we got a table for a short time slot. Service was super friendly & very efficient. We had the two vegan ramens that were on the menu and they were so delicious! We were both absolutely full afterwards and can highly recommend it! The only small negative point was the noise in the restaurant and the rather more expensive prices (but unfortunately normal for Zurich). Would come back immediately & thank you for the delicious spontaneous dinner :)

It is a very good ramen restaurant with a very good service. At lunchtime, all tables were booked, and there were two seats at the bar only. Yet, it is not the very best tasting ramen in the city. At payment, one can choose to tip using a bank card. You decide if this is a good tendency.

Food was excellent and for that I'd come again anytime! Service was just okay but were rushed out a bit suddenly as the reservation was max 2h (it's okay but could be better communicated). Charging 12fr for 2 glasses of water is not okay at all (especially when ordering other drinks too and when trying to ask for tab water in a country with the most pure quality drink water).

Simple restaurant that serves ramen. As a starter we had dim sum which tasted fantastic. Afterwards ramen with pork belly...yum...yum. The service was extremely friendly, very helpful and charming.

This is by far the best ramen in Zurich, bar none! The environment and service are very good, we ordered Yuzu Tsukemen and their Tori Paitan. *It is recommended that everyone remember to make a reservation in advance when coming, because the house will be full in the evening*

It is not recommended for friends with Asian stomachs. Both miso ramen and soy sauce ramen are extremely salty, and the noodles that were served for the first time were still raw. The environment is also very noisy. If you want to eat Japanese ramen, I suggest you choose another restaurant.

Based on my recent vacation to Japan, I have high expectations when it comes to ramen. Although it doesn't come close to Japanese quality, it's still probably the best ramen you can get in Zurich. 25 CHF is also normal for Zurich.

Second time eating here, my ramen was dry with almost no broth. I had do pay 7chf extra to have it filled up to a proper level because they said mine was fine - In comparison my wife’s ramen ( same kind) was filled up as it should be. We aren’t coming back for sure

Service staff was friendly and quick. The inside of the restaurant is pretty narrow-spaced but has lovely japanese decorations and asian music playing in the background. Appetizers (Fried chicken, garlic cucumber salad, gyoza) arrived within a couple of minutes and were very tasty. Tantanmen was good, although we would have preferred a warm onsen egg instead of a cold one. Great portion size. Homemade lemonades were tasty, not too sweet. Prices are pretty standard for Zurich. The place is pretty popular, we arrived 10 minutes after opening (18h) but were lucky to get a table for 2. Make sure to make a reservation before your visit :-)

Service has definitely declined over the last year. Food was fine, but somewhere between the waitress and the kitchen the order was dropped. Waited over an hour for our food, while every table that arrived after us was served.

Service is very fast. The service was very good by a friendly Ukrainian waitress. The actual food is below average. Ordered a beef ramen. The broth was closer to light soup than a ramen broth, the noodles seemed to be from the box, the beef was very few and minced, as if in bolognese. Maybe this is normal for this ramen, but overall not satisfied, especially considering the price (not with the service though). Might be harsh with three stars, but would not recommend.

Pretty popular, fair prices and great service: note that as of September 2023 the staff still weared face masks. 🍴 Ordered karaage as starter and tantanmen as main course. The karaage was fried nicely and came together with some onion-like veggies and mayo dip. All good but I would have appreciated it a bit saltier. The tantanmen was great and those flavours brought me back to Japan! 📍 The restaurant is on a quiet street, close to Europaallee and really only a few minutes away from the central station. I particularly appreciated the inside as well. Note that I didn't see any seating outside. ☝🏼 For certain dishes you can adjust the level of spiciness: pretty cool, you can't always do that.

A restaurant that is somewhat hidden and inconspicuous from the outside, but whose inner values ​​score highly. Beautifully furnished, homely Japanese flair and very tasty food! We ordered the vegan miso ramen and the vegan sesame ramen (spicy). Both very tasty, we'll go there again!

One of the best ramens I have ever eaten in Switzerland. This is an authentic japanese restaurant.

The best ramen in Switzerland and we've tried a lot of them, including in Japan. Everything is fresh and homemade, even the pasta! Our hot favorite is the Tantanmen extra spicy, but it's also really spicy ;-) The waitress also clearly points out, so for me it's absolute nonsense, that some people deduct stars because of a stomach ache the following day. We are thrilled and now go every few weeks, and our guests have always been thrilled too. And our dogs are always welcomed with great joy.

Friendly staff, but the ultra spicy Tantanmen Ramen was hot as advertised, but the taste wasn't really my cup of tea...

Gyoza was tasty (not outstanding), miso ramen was rather disappointing - the spiciness was absolutely missing, that concentrated explosion of flavor that you look for in a ramen and unfortunately not quite hot either. Pork was cooked tasteless. Service and ambience very good. Would give the shop another chance, maybe the other ramen are better.
