me and friends was there yesterday, 7.9. for lunch... when you look outside it looks like a very simple restaurant. but wow...the foos is really good, we ordered the braise pork, OMG, it is really authentic the chinese way of cooking...i was a lil bit dissapointted about the peking duck, twas so skinny not much meat in it, but it was tasty..over-all, we are happy and full.. The waiter was friendly and has a lovely smile.

I ordered takeaway in person first of all. The staff who helped me was very nice. I do not know italian and my Chinese is not that good either, but the menu does have English. I ordered 2 bubble teas, 2 shrimp dumplings ( shrimp ravioli) which is a total of 8 pieces and they are decent sized, and Mapo Tofu. They are all legit and good. Also if your mapo tofu container looks like it is leaking ish that is normal and okay, nothing leaks. I do think it is a little pricey but you know it is worth it. The bubble tea is soso but it is probably the best bubble tea you can get in Lugano. And yes I will be planning to go back to this place again soon.

We went to Lugano for 4 nights and happened to order 2 times take away from the New Shanghai. Both times we ordered roasted duck and both times it was delicious! We also ordered chicken 2 times. The first time it was a bit spicy, not very spicy bit just the right level of spicyness. The second time we ordered fried chicken with pineapples in sweet and sour sauce. All ingredients came apart. And there were no pineapples :) There were pieces of apple and orange with coconut flakes. It was funny :) And I think the guys deliver by bus. Also very inventive :) Good food and big portions. It is for sure recommended for take away.
