We experienced an unforgettable hike on the Niederhorn, embedded in breathtaking nature. The majestic view of the Jungfrau, Eiger and the surrounding landscape fascinated us. Step by step, we explored the scenic paths as the peaks shone in brilliant light. A day full of impressive views and lasting memories.

In a word, spectacular! I would go 10 more times (minimum) 😁. Dream view, very well equipped to spend a day with your family, especially for those who have children, even very small ones. Beware of the parking spaces - they are few and fully occupied for those who come on weekends after 9 am. An alternative is to park in large parking lots, such as the train station in Interlaken, and then take the bus here. The distance is not too far and you get rid of a ton of stress if you woke up late. The price of cable car tickets can be perceived as steep by those who do not live and work in Switzerland. Beyond these "trifles", once at the top, all the evil in the world is guaranteed to be forgotten. To me, although it seemed a bit expensive and I struggled to park the car, once I reached the top I had the feeling that it was worth every cent paid.

Rather more expensive train to the Niederhorn or Beatenberg. Train runs about every 20 minutes. Even though it was Monday lunchtime, we had to wait in line.

A beautiful train to the middle station is valid for the GA or day ticket, then there is a reduced ticket for the very top. The bus from Interlaken/Thun or the boat are both wonderful options.

This is an excellent visit for all ages on a sunny day. There is a good hike for all ages along the crest, with great views. Look out for the Alpine Newts! Because the lift is broken into two stages, you can enjoy beautiful forest hikes, especially for the lower stage, either up or down. I didn't rent a scooter to come down the lower stage but it looks like a lot of fun. I rate it number one of the lifts we took because of all the activity options.

I had the most beautiful two days on the Niederhorn in a very long time.

This should not be missed. We went by ferry and took the funicular. The views were spectacular from the lakeside and over the top and into the valley. You could also see Eiger and the adjacent mountains. A nice reasonably priced restaurant at the top. You can get there by car and bus

The railway does what it is supposed to do, but only having one person to check existing tickets and at the same time issue new tickets is questionable. Poor guy was really stressed...

This was the first cable car in Switzerland that we were told we cannot bring our child's balance-bike, not a bike (which we disassembled and put into our backpacks as we are going to hike to Waldegg.) The person in charge told us to "go to another mountain". If something is not allowed, they should communicate clearly before making us travel all the way to be told this. For your information, pushcart is allowed. I have no idea about the micro.

Price / offer: Very good. We drove to the middle station and hiked the rest. There are also other great hiking trails from the Niederhorn.

It also has amazing views of the Swiss Alps and the ones with alot of snow. Spectacular views and also you find it convenient to go up with the cable car or hike or cycles.

It's really cool to go down on a scooter

An excellent tour to do, especially with those with children/teenagers. Great prices. I recommend going early in the morning (check the website for the timetable) to avoid too many tourists and the price is cheaper. Take the hike from Niederhorn to the midstation Vorsass and from there take a trottiebike. There are barbecue grills on the way, if you want to use them, be prepared. At the end of April there is still a lot of snow, so you have to be careful if you go hiking. A walk for the whole day. I advise.

The train ran on time and was clean. The employee at the counter warned us that there was still 50cm of snow on the hiking trail. We still went to the Niederhorn and then had about 6 hours for the 2 hour hiking trail because we were wearing sneakers and you couldn't see the path. That was a great/unforgettable and dangerous adventure. We'll be back but with the right equipment.

Today was wonderful. Because of the snow, there are hardly any tourists on the Bändli.

Although it was stated on the internet that an overhaul was currently underway, it was written that the train would run on the weekend. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The employee told us very rudely that the train wasn't running.

Niederhorn is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Bern Oberland because you can walk from the bottom to the top or you can also take the train. The views are priceless, they are incredible and the restaurant is super good.

Don't go there in the fall!!... It was very expensive comparing to other cable cars in the area. And it was so foggy we saw nothing...and of course nobody at the counter cares to alert us about the weather situation. because they just want to make money. This ride was literally badest experience in our trip to the country.

We were on a family trip and wanted to go down on the scooters. When we arrived at the intermediate station at 4:10 p.m., we were no longer given scooters. But on Google you could still find it until 5:00 p.m. Our promise to only take the short, fast route didn't help either. There were no more scooters for 8 people.

Very expensive, CHF 38.- for one trip is too much. As a paragliding pilot, I would welcome a day ticket for pilots, as is the case in Lenk (CHF 60.-). The next landing site is Interlaken, which means I also have to take the bus to the valley station. Not interesting for me as a pilot in the overall package. If you assume that flight schools use this train and the students complete around 3 flights, that is CHF 114.- just for train journeys without half-fare, and yes, there are also people without half-fare.

Opening times could be optimized slightly if the weather is nice. Price with half-fare subscription is at the upper limit but ok.

Nice weather, lots of people, but the customer routing from Beatenberg is a catastrophe. Solving tickets is a hassle, everything is too small and a huge mess. But that's not enough - the ticket you bought has to be presented again so that the lady can punch another hole in it with the pliers. Then you can go through the gate. Punch again at the mountain station. Such methods belong in the Ballenberg.

Staff very aggressive and unfriendly

A total hidden gem! Our hotel concierge recommended the hikes here and we did the hike to Burgfeldstand. The hike was easy to moderate (towards the end, there was some medium difficulty steps to go up). But the views were absolutely STUNNING! The trail is easily defined and there are signs, and there are many beautiful wildflowers along the way (do not pick or touch though!). You can see mountains 360 degrees all around you and Lake Thun and the other cities down below. We took some gorgeous panoramic photos throughout the hike. We also saw some Alpine ibex and other birds. After our hike, we had a great meal at the restaurant Berghaus Niederhorn, located near the cable car drop off. This is an absolutely lovely experience and a must do if you are in Interlaken!

Take short trip from Beatenberg for some spectacular views. The local bus will take you to the stop at Beatenbucht where you can take the ride up. Photos at the bottom near the lake at Beatenbucht and then from the top in Beatenberg.

Great view, sunshine all the time; But the rest is less great, as the strange railway infrastructure only has a very low capacity. Toboggan run wasn't that exciting either and the price-performance ratio was average at best.

The weather was ideal for traveling to the Niederhorn. When the weather is nice, you have a wonderful view of the mountains from the top. Despite Corona. I can highly recommend a trip there. This is my opinion.

Parking at the Beatenbucht on the lake, then take the cog railway in about 10" to the Beatenberg middle station, from there take the gondola. If you want, you can get off in Vorsass and hike the rest of the way to Niederhorn in about 2 hours. Otherwise the gondola ride takes about 15". There are enough parking spaces available, day parking costs 7 francs, only cash payment possible. The train runs regularly every 20 minutes or less. Round trip with GA/Half-Fare travelcard costs 21 francs. Last descent at 5:40 p.m. from Niederhorn. Incredibly friendly staff. We recommend!

Saturday, January 9th, 2021 visited the Niederhorn in almost perfect weather. Top excursion destination for everyone, super friendly staff at the Niederhorn Bahnen! Restaurant serves visitors with take away, good & cheap! You should visit twice every year, once in summer and once in winter! Parking right next to the train station on Beatenberg, 30 seconds on foot... 7.- all day 👍. Because everything really worked out ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice hike from the middle station to the Niederhorn summit and back. The path was well prepared and there was enough wood at the fireplace.

It was very crowded and few people were not wearing mask. 6-10 people in single cable car
