Unfortunately, more appearance than reality... food good/nothing special (except perhaps the serving), Sweet Potato Mash is a sweet baby porridge... everything is very overpriced. Nice place. Nice female service, the gentleman didn't fit into the place... Very loud and also loud from the DJ (a matter of taste).

Great restaurant, very atmospheric with a great DJ. Very nice service, very good starters and main courses. Very good cocktails - Stockholm Cosmo - my favorite. a surprise organized spontaneously for my birthday, a Polaroid photo as a souvenir - thank you very much! I heartily recommend it

I went to Noumi last night. The food was good but the service was at best mediocre. The woman at the entrance wasn’t welcoming, the waitress seemed to never want to take the time to attend us, seemed upset any time we asked anything. We had to ask multiple times for the same things because they forgot. We asked if a dish was spicy, they told us that no but it was indeed, my partner couldn’t eat it. Overall the experience was okay but the place felt a bit soulless and the employees didn’t seem to be happy to work there. I wouldn’t recommend going

We were at Noumi on Saturday evening. I think the concept is great. Good music, relaxed atmosphere and a really chic atmosphere. In order to be even better, the following should be improved: - the service was OK. But far too “loose” the food was almost thrown on the table. Unfortunately there was no question as to whether it tasted good. Wearing jeans as service personnel also gives a somewhat overly casual impression. A recommendation from the staff would have been nice. We had the seats at the kitchen table. It would have been nice to be able to interact with the chefs a little more. For example, when our food was being prepared. Dad would explain a product to the guest or dad would say: Here I am making your starters. That would have been 30 seconds as an investment but it would have seemed much more personal. The food was good. But the Noumi is in the 5 star Bellevue and unfortunately we are not yet at 5 stars. The meat was good. The shrimp ok. But somehow I was missing two points in terms of ability and taste. The pulp was okay and also nice and soft. But lukewarm and not particularly crispy. The dulce de leche dessert was great! But service definitely needs to be more attentive. Become more sensitive The kitchen would have to do two more things. But we went home satisfied. This recession should be constructive and advance the noumi.

Very attentive staff, friendly and professional. Unfortunately the music was very loud and you could hardly have a conversation, otherwise the atmosphere is very nice! To eat: the most important ingredient, the rice, was still hard on the inside and a special type of rice that wasn't suitable for a Pokebowl, the ingredients were fresh but the hard rice made it so bad. A lot of sauce, which made the whole dish monotonous and some of the avocado wedges still had the peel on them. Highly recommended for a cocktail in the evening, but not for lunch!

Top from A to Z for me. From the reception to the ambience and the service to the food, it was great. To eat: Salmon tartare with spicy mayo, tobiko and crispy rice as well as tori teriyaki with chicken and sesame were really a highlight. The only small drawback: with a slight ear damage, the DJ's music is a bit too loud.

I was at Noumi yesterday with my mother. The reception from the “operations manager” was very nice and accommodating, he is extremely professional, hats off! Now about the food. We had to return the pork belly we ordered. This was very dry, had a really bad taste and was inedible. The operations manager took note of this straight away and didn't put the pig on the RE. Thank you! The remaining dishes were bland. The pulpo, oysters and even the pork belly were all adorned with BBQ sauce. There was only a “wild, wild West” taste in my mouth - no thanks. We had 2 Valser water and 1 Vivi Cola (no alcohol) for these 3 drinks, we paid CHF 22! Omg, we were speechless... The worst thing from start to finish was the “DJ Winter Hat”. Sooo loud and unimaginative. We couldn't really talk at all. When we go out to eat, we don't want to look forward to going out because of the loud music - but that was the case yesterday. Yesterday we decided to see Noumi again...

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to complain to you about the disappointing New Year's Eve in your restaurant Noumi. Although the arrival and the dressing room in the basement were pleasant and we were welcomed by a warm lady, the rest of the evening was anything but satisfactory. To start with we were not welcomed and had to wait for 45 minutes before even being asked for a drink (table 34). This is unacceptable, especially on an evening like New Year's Eve when you are looking forward to a nice evening. The restaurant was only a quarter full at the time and yet no one seemed to be responsible for serving us. The menu for 180.- per person contained four courses, but the dishes were randomly put together and were distributed on the table in four batches. The price-performance ratio was very poor, especially as there were five of us and the dishes were often intended for a couple each. We also had to scoop our own plates for each course, which isn't a problem in itself, but not on an evening like New Year's Eve. The food itself was rather bland and tasteless and the portions were too small. We weren't told anything about the menu, it was just put there and "good wishes". This does not correspond to the level we are used to from Noumi. In addition, the plates were cold and the food was lukewarm. The champagne Moet Rose 75cl for 183,- was not opened properly, the cork popped and not just at our table. There was a lack of expertise and appreciation for the product and the guests. The other drinks in the New Year's Eve menu were also significantly more expensive than in the normal drinks menu. Why is that? Is there a difference? After all, it is the same product with the same effort. The midnight champagne was supposed to be included in the menu, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. After midnight, the staff's work seemed to be over. There was no request for coffee or a digestive and no refills were given. The tables were not cleared while the guests slowly left the restaurant. It looked very shabby to those of us still present. The ambience was good, but as always the DJ was too loud. The five of us could hardly talk at a table with uncomfortable chairs and benches. There was no farewell, the boss said a half-hearted goodbye with a "bye" (are we on YOU?) and there was neither a thank you nor a happy new year or a request to come home safely. This does not correspond to the level of a 5-star hotel. At the end at the cloakroom we met the warm lady again who knew what hospitality meant. We felt most comfortable here. All in all, your New Year's Eve was unfortunately disappointing. It neither corresponded to the standard of Noumi nor that of a 5-star hotel. I am sorry that I have to give you such negative feedback, but I hope that you will take my criticism seriously and ensure that your guests have a pleasant and satisfactory stay with you in the future. Truly some of the best service I’ve had in a very long time, and with great food as a bonus. I enjoyed everything I ate at Noumi, but was really blown away by their crafted cocktails. They were fun and unique, yet very approachable.

Love the place! Great ambiance with super DJ, food is really good. Lovely baby spinach salad, chicken skewers and black cod. Also the cocktails were really nice. The service was in a good pace!

Yesterday we were able to enjoy a wonderful Turkish evening "One Night in Istanbul" with excellent food from the magical crew from the 4 Seasons in Istanbul, attentive and courteous service and a unique atmosphere with matching sounds from a talented DJ. Thank you for that!

A wonderful restaurant is the Noumi Grill & Bar in the Bellevue Palace Bern. Super competent service who knows how to make the customer feel like king. Very fine Meridian cuisine that is second to none. Sushi and sashimi are no problem here either.

Unfortunately, the brunch quality does not correspond to previous Noumi experiences. The Insta Promo promises a very exciting selection. The dishes that were actually served were simply banal and boring in terms of taste and visuals. It's a shame about the 68 CHF per person. Service was attentive, drinks ok.

I (72) and my 19-year-old youngest daughter treated ourselves to the European 7-course menu. It was a culinary surprise and every course contained a taste explosion. Very courteous service in a stylish, lounge-like atmosphere. Since we dine regularly, albeit in different places, we can both say that the quality is top and the price is absolutely guest-friendly. The fact that my daughter was seen as my "sugar babe" in front of the entire kitchen team when saying goodbye to the open kitchen, probably judging by the whispers, served as a nice final bit of amusement. We are happy to recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back (.....

The best restaurant with a lot of good food

We were there on a Saturday evening. The ambience was very pleasant and both the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately we only had about 2 hours. The very attentive service staff made it possible for us to still take the "share the taste of noumi" menu and everything fit into the time. But we would plan more time for another visit so that we can enjoy everything a little longer. We can recommend the “share the taste of noumi” menu. We had the vegetarian version and were very happy with it. The portions are extraordinarily tasty, cleverly put together and plentiful. We will certainly come back. Greetings from Solothurn ;-)

This was the most pleasant surprise to find. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The open kitchen was done immaculately. I highly recommend you order the multi course dinner and the drink flight. The food and the drinks are prepared at the highest level of excellence and you could actually taste the passion of the chef in the food. If you’re close by to this, I’d highly recommend that you go. You will not forget the experience. It is absolutely unique and at the top of its game.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was absolutely unique. The food presentation was absolutely spot-on and also absolutely unique. The fusion of two different cuisines into a presentation is done flawlessly. I highly recommend that you take the four course and take your time and work through it also take the drink flight to go with it because it’s paired with the food immaculately. You can taste the passion that they place into the cooking and preparation of the meal here I am folding blown away by it

While the experience and food in the real restaurant were amazing in winter a while ago, we were disappointed with the menu in the orangerie in summer. The dishes were not what you would expect and lacked taste and sparkle . For the drinks, only the price was high, the rest mediocre.

We visited the restaurant in its summer format, in “pop-up” mode upstairs. I liked the atmosphere and the decor a lot more, but that is the only positive point of the visit. The dishes were a big disappointment for me: visually they certainly seemed very attractive to me, but in taste I found it tasteless, tasteless. I had a tuna tataki which had no taste. Neither the mayo nor the fried onions were able to spice things up. For what I ate, I find the price clearly overpriced. I will definitely not return, this “summer” version of the restaurant did not convince me.

My girlfriend took me to NOUMI last night because she wanted to surprise me there for our anniversary. She got the tip from my best friend because we had already spent several great evenings there. I would now like to summarize yesterday evening in a few words: Spectacular view of our beautiful Bern, the Aare and the Gurten / wonderful ambience on the magnificent terrace and a very warm welcome. When we arrived at our seats, we were immediately served and given drinks. The menu of the NOUMI Summer Edition is clear and still offers everything your heart desires. In addition, everything from meat to fish to vegi and vegan is offered. The food from both of them was very tasty, only the portion size could have been a little more for me... but I'm also a glutton ;-) We would especially like to thank Marius for the great, humorous and warm service. You are a great host and always managed to put a smile on our faces. We will be happy to continue recommending NOUMI to our friends and hope to see you all again soon. Thank you NOUMI! Nino & Kim

Service is extremely unprofessional. We were served in three languages ​​although we only ever answered in Swiss German. White wine as an accompaniment came 15 minutes after the fish. Such an unprofessional wine service does not match the extremely high wine prices that would correspond to professional advice and service. Waiter gave us misinformation about the wine. The steak was served cold and the refrigerator-cold chimichurri cooled the meat down even further. Overall I find it overpriced for the service provided. Apart from the steak, the food was otherwise good. Dj made harmonious music.

I was there yeasterday (08.03.2023) and overall had a good impression at the beginning of the evening. Food quality was ok, the interior inviting, although the waitor’s behaviour was rude and disrespectful throughout the evening. Our bill was ca.170.- chf and we left good tipps… and as i mystypped my pin - code once I heard something like: “OH it’s no problem, you can stay and wash dishes here”.. Excuse me, what?? The waitor says this to me on International Women’s Day?

Dinner with friends We had dinner at noumi yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised after the website says that you have to leave after 2 hours. Fortunately, this was not the case. The food was very good and we received friendly service. In another review it was written that the chopsticks were cheap, I agree. It's a shame for such a nice restaurant that the chopsticks we use are take away. We'd love to come back!

The ambience was really nice, with a DJ playing good music. The sevice was great which can't be said about the food though. The meat wasn't cooked the way I ordered. The portions are small and its quite expensive.

Don't go there to eat, go there to have a taste experience! We took the ''several dishes to share'' formula and everything, from the starter to the dessert was a real treat!! Plus everything is fresh. The kitchen opens onto the room and everything is perfect. I would make the trip again just to have the pleasure of tasting their delicious dishes. Go there with your eyes closed, excellent food, very clean place, superb atmosphere. Little extra: Ariane’s good humor and smile! 😁

What a huge disappointment!!!! The service was good but the food was not tasty at all. The prices are so high that you expect to eat some delicious dishes. Well it’s not the case at all! We spent the night at the Bellevue Palace so we had dinner there but never again.. Nothing was freshly made. The octopus, the gyoza, the shellfish soup nothing seemed fresh at all and the portions were very small. The only good one we had was the black Angus beef with chimichurri and rice.. but 52.- though. The desserts were not good or fresh either! For a restaurant in a place like the Bellevue Palace you expect much better than this. Do not go there if you like good and tasty food, it’s way too expensive for what they offer. They really should hire a consultant to improve the menu and food.

Had a great experience having lunch with Friends. They are multilingual which is great in communicating with the customers. They are attentive in needs and the waiting time is not that long. Nice place to try different kinds of asian foods.

A bit overrated and overpriced, we hoped for more. The atmosphere is of course great and the music comes from the DJ. My raw mackerel starter was not tender and relatively tasteless. The chopsticks came “cheaply” packaged in a paper bag like from the supermarket. For the main course, well-done (!) tuna steak with asparagus (in December?!). My partner had lamb rump, which was unfortunately just lukewarm. The service was friendly, but sometimes not attentive. For example, leftover food on the table was not removed. All in all OK, but not worth the money.

The atmosphere was also fantastic - the restaurant had a great vibe and was an amazing place to enjoy a meal with friends.

It was simply terrific- I had three sides and two starters to try because it all sounded delicious. I was dining on my own and they really looked after me. Melon mash with a gin shot to start Peruvian fruit ceviche to finish and great Thai meets Indian and Malaysian in the middle . Highly recommend. Best meal I have had in a long time.

On my trip to Switzerland my choice for dinner was Noumi Bern. And I shouldn't be disappointed! I was warmly greeted at the entrance and shown straight to a table. This was followed by a fantastic evening with very nice, courteous service, fantastic food and outstanding drinks! The whole thing was accompanied by relaxed house music from a live DJ, not disturbing in any way and very pleasant! The Noumi gets a full five stars from me! I will definitely come back!

I join the reviews about this being a beautiful place to eat excellent food while listening to a dj. the concept of the establishment, the well thought out menu and interior design were thinhs the whole group and I enjoyed a lot during our dinner. It is on the pricier side, but we knew that going in there and were therefore not surprised. As much as we liked the place, the food and its concept, we had some issues with the service. the sir serving us, wasn't treating us in a way I except of an establishment like Noumi. To some of our group he was unfriendly, he interrupted us while talking and had biting remarks on every question we asked him. this made it unpleasant at times. This is also the only reason why I give out visit 4 instead of 5 stars.

We already came last year and found this restaurant truly incredible! The service is top notch and the staff who served us were professional. However, we left a little disappointed because it was no longer as delicious as the first time... we expected it to be the same... too bad. I still recommend it because it was still good and the view from the terrace is pleasant.

The four of us had dinner with friends on July 23rd, 2022. Had the 4 course surprise menu. That was excellent and a highlight for all of us. Something different. The presentations from the service staff were great and very friendly. The terrace with the view of the Gurten was particularly unique. Hope that it can continue to be used in this way. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Noumi Bar and grill - a good place to have a work get together for professionals or to celebrate a special birthday. The deserts were VERY GOOD and they went out of their way to give my fiance a vegan desert which was not on the menu. Food portions are very small though... only downside.

I just have to say, this has been a highlight of the Switzerland visit. The food delightful, the flavours, sensational, and the staff, perfection. Vegetable Dumplings, divine. Papaya Salad, perfection. Yellow potato curry, yum, and take their advice on the chickpea, mango, chili mini bowls, sooooo good. Pulled Pork dish also a winner for the meat eater ☺ Terrific options for Vegetarian and Vegan, us terrific non alcoholic options alongside insane cocktails. (loved the music too, but about 5-10% too loud for relaxed conversation) Treat yourself, you deserve it

Enployees are very nice, kind and helpful. But some of us were disappointed by our meal. Indeed, it is obviously an elaborated food. But the overall taste was not so satisfying, it was interesting, not good. Too many things mixed together. And the quantity was not there. Moreover we were a table of 6 people and the high volume of the (yes great) music made the conversation with anybody who is not your neighbor impossible. Finally, I found the expensive price in line with the high standard of the restaurant, but I didn't spend a nice moment.

Positively surprised. We were walking around looking for a place to eat and came across noumi. First I thought it would be no place for children (we had our 7 and 10 year old with us) but I was totally wrong! They are super kid friendly, gave them crayons and a chef’s hat to draw on. Then the kids were taken to see the kitchen and got delicious sorbets for dessert. I can only recommend this place. Food was yummy (for adults and children) cocktails are great and service excellent. And on top of that they have a DJ who plays cool vibes. It is not a Michelin star restaurant, but they’re also not pretending to be. It’s just a cool place.
