Very good and quality food. Menu very small of only 9 dishes, 3 of which were fish dishes. When ordering drinks there is a long waiting time, it is better to order early, about 20 minutes in advance.

It's no longer like it was in Fiechter's time, when Ruedi Hunsperger still sat at the regulars' table. Everything renovated and modernly furnished. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is good and the prices have increased.

Having to wait far too long, a good hour for the food we ordered. The information was that a banquet was a good idea. Banquet is reserved? The manager did not apologize to us for the long waiting time. Not pleasant.

We live nearby and can walk there. Unfortunately I have to say that we won't be going there again, even though the location is great. I have never experienced such unfriendly service, and not just once. We had to beg for every step of the service, and we found it unfriendly and condescending. We simply didn't feel welcome, so we didn't even enjoy the delicious food anymore. The bad mood hit us in the stomach. Unfortunately we will avoid the place in the future.

The bone-in (whatever that is) pork chop was so tasty and delicious-looking that I forgot to take a photo in my excitement. The Madeira Jus sauce was fantastic, creamy and flavorful. I said when I ordered that I would like a little more sauce. In fact, I received an additional portion in a small gravy boat at no extra charge. There was fried arugula on the cutlet which was warm and crunchy and tasted delicious. Great idea ! The cutlet itself was so tender and fat-free, it couldn't be better. The included vegetables also had a bit of a bite and were also excellent in taste. The fries were added crisply in a basket. I just say bingo and a huge compliment to the kitchen team! The service also deserves 5 stars. The price-performance ratio is optimal. The location is beautiful and quiet anyway.

Very disappointing experience! After an eternity there again, we were inside on Sunday because there was no space outside at first. There was no sign anywhere and when we asked nicely whether you could get an ice cream and a drink inside, we were almost shouted at by a young waitress - they don't serve inside. You really felt like you had been slapped in the face. Never go there again, that was enough.

We wanted to go out for an ice cream, there was only 1 chair at a table. I asked for one more and they said no, there weren't any more even though there were 10 empty tables. Disappointing

As has often been described, a very nice location on the Aare under the trees. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, the kitchen conjured up great food and the price was absolutely ok. Very happy again, thank you for the delicious food.

Very tasty food and wonderful views of the Aare. The service was very friendly. The kidneys were recommended to us and they were simply wonderful. Great bite, great sauce and lovely presentation. The Schloss Reichenbach restaurant has become a real success, the plates are much nicer than before and the food is also better. Such a great meal can be perfectly combined with a walk.

Cheeky service, said dessert was better than smoking. Felt we had increased sales very pressed. Perch fillets in dough were dry and tough!!! Friendliness has been noticed several times! The location will always not add value to the business!!

The new furnishings inside and the seating outside are harmonious and inviting. The food tastes good and comes quickly. The service needs guest-friendly training: 3 different waiters are unfriendly and slow, seem to deliberately look past guests who are looking for friendly contact, forget to collect the bill that has just been brought or the smile itself. This ruins the beautiful atmosphere in the cozy spot on the Aare. Such a shame!

We were a total of 10 people with small children (two strollers). When we wanted to sit down we were told that the staff had to have enough space to get through, and no alternative table was offered. For the children we ordered a portion of chicken nuggets and fries. The chicken nuggets were completely raw inside. These were newly made. When we wanted dessert after dinner, we were told that the table would soon be required for a reservation, but there were several empty tables. In the end, the bill was simply brought to the table and the fries and nuggets were charged! We spent a total of almost 300 francs and were almost thrown out. This wouldn't have happened with the previous owners! It's a shame...

Nice place, service was OK, the perch fillets too dry and way too much dough around them

Six of us celebrated a birthday, the food was excellent and the service was friendly. The landlord responded professionally to our wishes, so we had a successful party, what more could you want! We will recommend Reichenbach Castle at any time... many thanks to the team!

We (4 people) wanted to have a drink at this beautiful place today. We had to wait a long time until we could order and were held back by the service employee. We had the impression she wanted to make us wait and told us she would come. We noticed how she treated other guests unfriendly, and they just shook their heads. We asked her about it when paying, she saw it completely differently and told us she had been on duty since 10 a.m. We found her to be unmotivated and irritable. It's a shame, we were always very satisfied with the previous innkeeper and were guests at Reichenbach Castle very often.

The birthday dinner with many guests was a complete success. The food, the service and the ambience were 100% right. Our guests were also enthusiastic and our service contributed significantly to the successful evening. Many thanks. We recommend!

The restaurant is in the most beautiful location on the Aare. The food is very good. But here's the thing: The service from certain employees was absolutely bad and rude. The restaurant wasn't very busy for a Sunday. So no stressful situation at the moment. Several tables said and thought the same thing. It's a shame for the nice restaurant. Thank you troutdem to all the service workers.

Simple good cuisine, somewhat long waiting times with a full house, the garden with the chestnut trees makes it

The food was very good, despite the beautiful Saturday the restaurant was very poorly attended. All the greater the disappointment of the poor and uncourteous service. The wine wasn't refilled, the water was brought in a broken carafe and only replaced when it was empty, lots of little things that went wrong despite the fact that the employees weren't stressed. I think it's a shame because the place and surroundings are sensational.

You should definitely visit. Beautifully located on the Aare and shady under the trees, also recommended on very sunny days. Service is always very good there. It's best to make a reservation as it's always busy.

My daughter urgently needed to go to the toilet, so we asked in the restaurant if we could use the toilet. The boss (?) asked if we were guests, which I said no, but immediately added that I would like to order an espresso. He replied harshly that there was no barefoot zone here (unfortunately we had left our shoes around 200 meters away at our spot on the Aare) and told us away. Strange, because this has never been an issue before…. We actually wanted to go out for something to eat afterwards, but we decided not to because of this experience. We will avoid this restaurant in the future!

The service is very prompt and friendly where a boss in this day and age can be proud to have such staff. What is very disappointing: We would have expected the boss to greet his guests and not just use his tablet to check how the reservation entrances are going. The guest notices a lot.

Not for the first time but definitely the last time…. The boss or whatever he is has no idea about hospitality, even the employees are afraid of him, even though they are very nice and customer-oriented. Woe betide anyone who dares to sit at a table without a specific intention to eat! Then the boss comes and shoos the guests away... My family has been coming over regularly for years to eat and often just to drink, but as long as this tyrant is in charge there won't be any more from now on.

Great location, delicious food, rather high price. The service was mostly friendly, but unfortunately not very professional. The waiters sometimes buzz around completely uncoordinated and you forget. Like 2-3 other couples, we stood in line for 5 minutes in vain to be shown to a table, but were not noticed at all. After we simply sat down at a table, it took at least 10 minutes until we received a card and another 10 minutes until we could place the order. We wanted to reorder drinks, but were deliberately ignored or overlooked. In the end, a drink was forgotten despite repeated requests (but it was on the bill) and the iced coffee was delivered without Baileys. Didn't get the bill despite asking twice and was delayed again by 5 minutes because the card terminal was lost somewhere. In total, lunch lasted almost 2 hours. It couldn't have been due to stress, as they sometimes had 2-3 minutes for small talk with various guests without exaggerating.

I've loved this place since I was little! The food, ambience and service were always good. Unfortunately I had a worse experience yesterday. After we very nicely asked to change tables to get one in the shade (there were a lot of tables free and my husband has lupus so direct sun isn't ideal) we were met with eye rolls. “We’re actually fully booked,” they said. Immediately after the seat swap, walkers without a reservation were seated at our old table. So it probably wasn't as crowded as said. When I went inside to ask for a children's chair, I heard the service people complaining that someone with a "sun allergy" had to be moved. When I asked if there was another chair for my daughter, they were the first ones Words: “Everyone is occupied at the moment” I then mentioned that I had specially reserved it. “This is not a guarantee,” they said. A chair was found in the corner of the restaurant. After we ordered it took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. And unfortunately the fish was very oversalted. We were really always nice and didn't complain during our stay. But since the table change I felt very unwanted. I'm super sad that I now carry such a negative feeling with me because the Schloss Reichenbach restaurant is really one of my best childhood memories.

Had a coffee once. And a beer. Great location on the river. Had an impressive waitress, though. If you live in Bremgarten, nice walk to there, about an hour, along the river. You can float back on the river.

Wonderful terrace directly on the Aare made for warm summer evenings. The food was sensational and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Despite the very full terrace, there was no rush and waiting times were minimal. This location is absolutely recommended.

You wait too long for food and then it was still cold. And there are clearly better ones in Bern…. The tenant is very arrogant.

Very bad service, we were there today and even had to change tables just because we wanted an ice cream and not something real to eat. That was strange and we got an untidy table that was dirty!!! So then we waited for easily 25 minutes and there weren't even many customers around, they looked at us and nothing happened. My partner went in to ask and order, she said we have to keep waiting. + the expression also looks sorry, no laughter, nothing. just bad, I don't recommend this resturatn to anyone, it's a waste of time/money It was much better before!! shame on you

When we arrived at the restaurant exhausted on a very nice hot day, we were looked at very rudely and annoyed. We didn't feel welcome. When we found a place and didn't receive a greeting or a map, we just wanted to wait and see. But after 20 minutes without service or cards being brought to us, we lost our mood and desire. In my opinion, the worst experience I've had so far. The staff is always annoyed and doesn't pay any attention to us. No friendliness and everyone was very lazy at work. Simply failed at all points. Bad, just bad. I don't recommend it to anyone. Greetings to the customers you didn't serve.

Eating there again for the first time since the renovation. The tenants/owners are also new. The menu is small but very tasty food. Service staff top. And that everything has a beautiful terrace and the Aare flows through next to the terrace. We'll be back soon...

Was here for the first time, made a reservation for a larger group (with work colleagues from Holland) and was wonderfully pampered. The food was very good, I especially liked the starter (salmon, passion fruit sauce, avocado cream and cucumber with ginger). Recommended, I'll definitely come back :)

Beautiful, spacious terrace directly on the Aare, delicious food and exemplary friendly service. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality you get! I estimated that we were allowed to sit for over 3 hours after lunch without consuming much. I'd love to come back!!

Long wait until we could finally place our orders. Service staff buzz around uncoordinated. The boss usually stands around decoratively. Instead of perches in beer batter, pangasius in beer batter are served. At least the portion size was ok.

The roast was pretty overcooked, less my thing, the sauce was great, creamy and good in taste. The supplement was ok... As a group, it was not possible to order chocolate mousse for dessert for less than 8 people. I found it very inflexible. The restaurant looked well maintained and is of course very nice. To Stiller Haß, on the beautiful Aare.

The food was surprising and excellent at the same time. The service was very attentive and funny. With the earth tones of the walls, the decoration and the light, the ambience was 100% to my taste. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

The cold (Schloss-Plattli) brought absolutely no joy. Neither to look at nor to eat. Just a lot of sausage, coarse bacon and little cheese, barely cut and carelessly distributed on the plate. I ordered a good cutting knife for chopping and reported back to the kitchen. Whether this met with interest is beyond my knowledge. Despite nice service, absolutely not worth the CHF 25.00 paid.

40 years ago I worked in this company as a young chef, and on Sunday I went out to eat with my family. Everything renovated, beautifully done, great hosts, the boss and the service staff were very personable, the food was very good and the price-performance ratio was correct. I find the implementation of the Covid-19 guidelines unpleasant; the lack of distance to the neighboring tables was not present during our visit.
