Excellent food with a real community feel. Good veggie options, and we were made to feel right at home (albeit in our very broken French). Thank you for such a fabulous evening 🙏🏽

Very good, tasty and very pleasant meal, the prices are very reasonable, only downside at the end of the meal we asked for a dessert menu and the lady brought us 2 fruit bowls (in a box) charged at 6chf each, we laughed about it but there you go I therefore advise against asking for dessert. For the rest, everything is good, a very friendly lady who served us (perhaps the boss) music from home which sets the mood to accompany this food which makes the taste buds quiver with happiness. You have to like spicy food, which is our case. Maybe we'll go back and try another dish.

The best Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant in Lausanne! Not known to Lausanne residents but very popular with Ethiopians and Eritreans. The flavor and quality of the dishes is always consistent and there. I enjoy it every time! Prices are very low for being a restaurant close to the center. I can only recommend it!

First time but not last time. We had been wanting to try this place and finally did today. Service was great and food excellent. Very flavorful. We tried two different meat dishes and the vegetable platter and the great injera (the fermantes bread). All of it was filling and delicious.

Came here with my Ethiopian friend and she agreed it was amazing food! Great quality, the owner and service were great. Most of all- the food- is amazing.

My favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Lausanne! The place doesn't look like much but what good food there! Everything is tasty and delicious. The quantities are generous. Don't miss the famous Ethiopian tartare which is really delicious here.

Super good: kitfo, beef tartare; Gomen, sautéed vegetables and vegetarian assortment. Unbeatable! Very friendly staff. To recommend without hesitation.

Gorgeous. DON'T MISS THIS STOP AT THE EXQUISITE FLAVORS OF ETHIOPIA. Passing through Lausanne and familiar with this cuisine, we tried it. Delicious, a thousand flavors, truly succulent vegetables, roasted meats with onions... Really inexpensive... and very clean kitchens and bathrooms. Deserves its 5 stars! In short, we will come back to it at every opportunity. Ladies with very simple, welcoming and friendly cuisine and service. My companion ate too much, too quickly, she made him a tasty and effective Ethiopian herbal tea. As we say at home: so cute!

I've been at Mama cuisine for dinner already three times and I was never disappointed! The food is just delicious and the owners are really caring. At the end of the meal they always also offer very good Ethiopian coffee!

Great food that makes you come back over and over again, generous portions, always a bit of a (pleasant) surprise with what will the vegetarian mix entail. Good service. Excellent for takeaway as well as staying inside the restaurant.

L'ambiance est aussi super ! bonne musique ...Bonne et véritable belle ambiance Africaine, Asiatique, Latino.. etc... Bref Ambiance très Calienté... nous avons aimé...
