Cozy bar, inside and outside. Very nice and attentive staff. Small to fine selection of dishes, highly recommended the guacamole. Large selection of cocktails, including non-alcoholic ones.

Delicious cocktails and a great tarte flambée with asparagus, raw ham, rocket and onions. Staff very friendly.

I got the wrong drink. When I asked for an explanation, the waitress brought it back, then she proceeded to return to the table assuring me that it was the right drink because she personally tasted it. Nothing else to add.

Big recommendation - the beer was delicious and the staff was so funny! Big thanks also to the team for picking up my chocolatier chocolate that was forgotten there and giving it back to me the next day 💜 made my day!

Well made drinks and joyful waiters and bartenders. Recommend the visit if you are into cocktails and their Whisky selection is not to shabby.

Worst bar ever. I sat there for 15 min buying drinks for considerate money when the waiter asked me to move to another table without hit because the table was "reserved."... The worst lie ever because no tables had 'reserved' note on them and no warning was given me before I sat there. The waiter was rude Oh, and the drinks were pretty average, I will forget these in 5 minutes. Waste of time. The bar 59 beside looks waaaay better!

Finding a welcoming place where you feel good is always the difficulty for a foreigner, because communication is often difficult for us. But today I was very happy and satisfied going to this place, both for the quality of service "(all the staff were really very kind, nice and always tried to listen to our requests even if we didn't all speak the same language)" as in the variety of menus. 5 stars is not enough

Unfortunately, service forgot about us

We had a drink here as a group last weekend. The service was very friendly and the Basil Smash particularly impressed us with the cocktails. It was a bit of a shame that the drinks didn't come at the same time and an order was forgotten, but of course that can happen 😊.

The one in Aarau is better. Less stress because certain people in Basel can't behave when going out. Staff was funny/friendly & the gin bar was 100% top!! 4 stars because you should remove certain customers when they are unable to behave

We had a drink together outside at the high tables. Nice service who explained the offer and took the order quickly. The drinks arrived promptly. To pay, we first had to look for the waitress, but then we were suddenly there again. Everything OK.

Even before we entered the bar, we were given friendly and tip-top advice when we asked, so we immediately felt welcome. Cozy bar with a really interesting selection of all kinds of drinks! Fine snacks and aperitif platters are also offered. The whole thing is rounded off by friendly and attentive staff.

Even if your drinks are excellent: hosts should never, really NEVER gossip about guests within earshot of the customers! This leaves you with an uneasy feeling and certainly doesn't give the impression that you are welcome here as a guest.

Modern place where you can drink cocktails. Well a bit pricy, but you get a delicious cocktail in return. The decor is modern but cozy, also the service is very friendly and fast. Many menus and much variation possible!

The gin menu is completely crazy. What a pleasure to enter a bar that knows its stuff. The cocktails are well made, the tonics match the gins, there is so much choice that you don't know what to take

Nice cocktails with adequate alcohol(so you dont drink water and syrup basically). Great staff. It is not overpriced, cocktails are around 15-20 chf. Wish music was a bit louder however I think thats because of city regulations. Dont hesitate to drop by at this place👍🏻.

I had the impression that there had been a change of ownership. Before Corona, the Capucino was better and there was really good dark chocolate with it.

Employees eating behind or next to the bar. Or sitting biting their fingernails. When I ordered a beer it took forever. It was waiting at the bar for a long time. Later the waiter came with another beer. Then I told him I saw the beer waiting. Then he said he wasn't sure what we had ordered anymore...if I don't know something then I'll ask. service very poor and slow

Just too loud. I wish I could measure the decibels, but conversations have to be shouted in order for someone to communicate. You're sure to leave the restaurant with a hoarse voice and potential hearing damage. Not for people who want something a little more comfortable.
