Well received and good service until after the main course! Then we received no attention anymore: no menu for dessert or coffee. In the end we went in ourselves and paid. Shame!

We ate at Osteria del Sole twice in the last few weeks. There is a little pearl hidden behind the inconspicuous facade. Not only did we eat very well - typical Ticino food - the atmosphere was also extremely friendly. The second time we were 25 people. We enjoyed a special moment with family and friends with a wonderful meal and an aperitif on the beautiful terrace. Everyone was very happy and will have fond memories of the day. In addition to the local food, we were impressed by the large wine list, put together with a lot of expertise, with a very large and interesting selection of local (mostly Merlot) wines. It's definitely worth treating yourself to a good bottle.

Wonderfully quiet, in the middle of the village, with enough parking, above, with a view of Lagomaggiore. Very nice host, nice service. Very fine food. Try something different with your meal, for example the beer: Micro Birrificio Gambarogno Bionda! The 5dl bottle/ 8.-Fr./ it's worth it!!

We attended the Thai specialty weeks (November 18th - December 18th, 2021) and experienced gastronomy at its best. The service and friendliness were top. All dishes were freshly prepared, with plenty of high quality ingredients. A 'must' for lovers of wholesome Thai cuisine and a real win for Gambarogno. The trip from Locarnese is also worth it!

The place is very nice with a large terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore with a 60 degree panoramic view, the interior is also very nice and welcoming. The cuisine is very well prepared and the flavors very distinct, we tasted the game dish and we also tried the well-known dish of mixed lake fried fish, divinely prepared with an amazing and crunchy batter, it literally melts in your mouth, also good in service and hospitality. Go and visit this place, I don't think you will be disappointed and, importantly, the prices are honest for the dishes offered must be seen to be believed

Place overlooking the lake with a beautiful view and you can enjoy one of the best lake fried dishes in Ticino, delicious and light! The stone-fired meat is also a spectacle, tender and tasty. Convivial tavern, excellent for dinner for two or with friends after a walk in the area.
