Panem in Romanshorn

Just drank something... it was ok...

It is a pleasure for us to come back to eat here again and again. The food is fantastic and the staff is always friendly. Recommended!!!

We were in Romanshorn for a day visit and spontaneously strolled along the harbor looking for a restaurant for lunch. We are very satisfied when we got to know Panem with its vegetarian dishes and good service. We would like to come back

Nice restaurant in the harbor of Romanshorn. Outdoor area with new seating and parasols. Concerts every Friday. Fine selection of dishes. Always nice service. Beautiful view of Säntis and the lake.

Clear and varied menu and a very quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Very tasty food (had a wonderfully seasoned tartare and a salad with crunchy and dessert (amazing cake & chocolate cake)) and wonderfully courteous, friendly service. Gladly again!

The food is great as are the drinks...but unfortunately the service staff is very unfriendly...when we wanted to order they said we didn't have time but we were able to talk for about 5 minutes at the table next to us...we also had to wait a long time to pay

Service & ambience great, price-performance unfortunately in the basement for what you get for the high prices. In the photo mushroom risotto - unfortunately it tasted more like microwave rice pudding without salt :(

The food was ok. The service forgot about us twice and in the end the children's portion of fries suddenly became a large one, very unfortunate. Also right next to the motorcycle parking lot, so uncomfortable.

Pleasant decor, attentive service, good quality and fresh food. I had the salad bowling with chicken fillet and my husband Tiger Black gamberini with risotto. Delicious but expensive, my dish at 30 Swiss francs and my husband's at 38 Swiss francs.

We got a fine bowl, by far the nicest I've ever had, a macchiato and two croissants. It was a comfortable, relaxed place to be there. The service was extremely friendly and we felt very comfortable.

Ambience is nice. Service is a catastrophe, this gentleman who served us has extremely missed his calling. Price performance rather too expensive. The fish crispies with fries are an outrageous price.

The salad bowls are delicious but a bit too expensive for the quantity and the service outside should have at least 2 employees on a busy day. Had to wait a long time for the orders and invoice.

Some of the service was very angry and loudly denied, so that everyone HAD to hear it, because of guests sitting outside while it was raining. That's a no-go. I have over 20 years of catering experience myself. Sitting outside feels like you're on vacation. Otherwise I would give 5 *.

We were already looking forward to one of the promising Campari cocktails. But after 10 minutes we left again. For the serving lady, cleaning the tables - after eye contact and then demonstratively with her back to us - was more important.

Super cozy atmosphere inside. The toilet can only be reached via stairs (not barrier-free) from what I saw. The chairs outside are uncomfortable. The Panem has 4 free parking spaces and otherwise Parkingpay is required. Cocktails, lattemacciato and iced coffee are very tasty. The staff is friendly.

The Panem is in a prominent location at the harbor of Romanshorn. Easily accessible by car, train and bike. The harbor promenade invites you to take a digestive walk. The menu is manageable, but there is something for every taste. Unfortunately, my dish was forgotten when I ordered. However, it was prepared promptly and I was even given dessert as an apology. Both service and chef came and asked for forgiveness. Great response, you feel valued here.

Nice restaurant right on the lake/harbour of Romanshorn. The service is very nice and both the salad with falafel and the Thai curry were very good.

We only had drinks. But we were able to take advantage of the exceptionally warm weather around New Year's to sit outside. The service was friendly and accommodating even though she was responsible for a lot of tables.

We were just there to get something to drink and had to wait 15 minutes for it. I think it's too long. Staff nice though

Staff mid needs to be friendlier

Always satisfied for years, until today, November 8, 22, 4 p.m. You have rarely seen such unfriendly staff. Cappuccino was half served to us after 20 minutes. When we wanted to order again, the waitress came to us cursing, no looking at us, no friendliness, nothing. Would everyone do that... regardless of whether it's a bad day or not, when dealing with customers you should know how to behave in every situation!

I can only recommend. Were served very kindly. Fine coffee... Rather strong but if you like it that way, great.

The portions are plentiful and very well presented. The service could be a little faster and more attentive, which is a shame. Otherwise great location.

Beautiful, modern, clean restaurant right on the water, which was reached by bike as part of a tour around Lake Constance. We were able to sit outside and had a very attentive, courteous service from our waiter (Markus?), who took care of us immediately. After pleasant small talk, a heavenly home-baked cake was served, but our tour group also enjoyed a cappuccino or non-alcoholic beer. We recommend!

Very nicely located at the harbor of Romanshorn. I like the interior design. Men and women generally feel very comfortable. The food is very good with a touch of posh and innovative. Inexpensive but not cheap. The service is generally humorous and cheerful...that's what makes it fun. Have fun😃 Addendum = Even after several visits with my wife or friends... work colleagues. The food was very good despite completely different dishes. It was amazing, every time a real little culinary dream. Michelin-starred cuisine? I don't know it. But men and women have the feeling. The service and its timing are simply perfect. Plus with happiness and passion that it's contagious. All in all an experience with real relaxation and ambience. Plus the feeling of the lake.

If you grew up in Romanshorn you know Panem very well. The location, the excellent dishes and the diverse occasions are wonderful! We always like to come by for an ice cream, an afternoon drink or even for dinner. The prices are sometimes higher, but so are the dishes. I am very happy to recommend Panem as I have never been disappointed so far.

I just have to finally announce that there is no comparatively similar restaurant in Romanshorn that has been serving up such consistently high-quality meals for years! The service is extremely motivated, everyone is warmly welcomed and served in a friendly and courteous manner. Special requests are usually also possible for allergy sufferers and guests with severe intolerances such as: b. If you have celiac disease, there is always something great to eat. Of course, nothing boring even vegetarian. The restaurant is so spacious and yet cozy in its own way that there is rarely any free space left. In an emergency you can pull something together. in summer with a cozy outdoor area and a view of the lake. But it's also the mix of guests that matters. Somehow the visitors are in a good mood and there is a friendly atmosphere. We have been enjoying the relaxing atmosphere during our lunch break for years and are never dissatisfied, even though we all have very high standards. The menus are creatively designed and lovingly prepared, but without any unnecessary fuss. There is a wonderful daily soup to choose from and of course a colorful fresh salad! Of course, no canned foods or ready-made sauces. There are many main courses on offer and a varied selection. Also an older dish from grandmother's handwritten recipe book, bravo! That rarely happens anymore. If you still have it, you can also get a second look. Nobody goes home hungry. The ingenious cake buffet invites you to get fat. A homemade cheesecake like this, perhaps with fruit in it, simply has to have room in between. The special grappa or a great rum with the very best ristretto in the area is generously poured in a beautiful glass. nothing is petty! We always look forward to the next time, that hasn't been a given for more than a decade, has it? We all hope that our Panem will remain our favorite restaurant for a long time to come!! By the way, it's always worth a visit in the evening too, By the way, there are interesting, cool concerts taking place on various Friday evenings... highly recommended!

The location is nice but the hot chocolate we ordered was basically a big cup of milk with a dash of cocoa powder from a satchet. The milk stayed cloudy and there was barely any chocolate involved. Still scratching my head as to what we paid 6 franks each for.

Service was very accommodating and the mulled wine was amazing!

After a walk you can warm up again with various teas or fine mulled wine. Very friendly staff!
