Great service and the menu is small but nice. Come back

We went to a 9-course menu at Parterre One on New Year's Eve. The food was first class, you can find keik harar in the soup. However, the service was quite slow. Despite the empty glasses, no one noticed us. This happened to other tables too. Nevertheless, it was a successful evening.

Unfortunately, I tried again and again because I think the idea of ​​parterre is great. But, we were disappointed again and again, the food is really underground for the prices now (but I can only talk about vegi). and this hunter-gatherer concept is really boring, no long-term choice when people return. It's a real shame, I used to like parterre and have always been there. But, to say it again, the last few times over a year and a half: vegetarian food was totally overpriced and inedible for what it was (not only happened to me, but also to my companions), including complete forgetting about us on the part of the waitress. Food is either undercooked, over salted or cold etc. and really overpriced, unfortunately you can get padthai cheaper and better around the corner. If you have a complaint, just say 'sorry'. Unfortunately no more recommendations

We were invited to dinner and had a really delicious 7-course menu. 🥰 The red wine was excellent and they even created something great for me as a vegan. Both thumps up. 👍🏻👍🏻

Cool party/concert location with a comfortable lounge area to sit on. Only the toilets are poorly placed, queuing in the hallway is a bit stupid.

We were here on New Year's Eve and had the vegetarian 9 course menu. Every course was a joy!

I had a vegetarian option on a work meal and it was not great. I think it was meant to be some sort of veggie ravioli?? It was a plate of beige food with a few mushroom. The pasta did not seem well cooked. It was free to me so that's life. But if I had paid, it would have been a different matter...

We had a power dinner with a group on Friday. I found the ambience very good, the food good but arrived at the table cold. I didn't think the service was good. The wine recommendation wasn't good, the service staff didn't speak German well and in general they didn't listen well. I would like to go out to eat another day. Then maybe I can judge it a little better

A Schlam performance in Parterre One. Entrance behind the restaurant. Set up as a small theater, but with a bar. Imaginative presenters, with a lot of heart for the theater...The hygiene in the toilets upstairs leaves a lot to be desired. But the performance was very entertaining, with a good connection with the audience...

I had searched “best schnitzel in Basel” and this place kept coming up. My buddy and I decided to try it.was absolutely great. Food was really flavorful and the citrus ice cream with lemoncello poured on top was awesome. I mean this in a very positive way, the fries had a McDonald’s taste to them, it was almost nostalgic, very fresh. Would recommend for sure and if we ever venture back, we’ll pick a night to come back.

Dear Parterre One Team This was the second time we had dinner with you. The food is very tasty and the service is simply great. On our first visit we were in the beautiful restaurant and on the second visit we were able to enjoy the terrace in the beautiful weather. We were able to end the lovely evening at the 80th anniversary party right next door. We'll definitely be back!

Great garden...when the weather is nice. Staff disaster... Neither the drinks nor the food order worked, not even the espresso was served without being asked three times. The service staff stood lost in the restaurant and 98% didn't know what to do with the food that was supposed to be brought to the table... and no one was friendly there... so Basel is easily manageable without Parterre One.

We always enjoy coming to Parterre One. Varied menu, creative and high quality cuisine. The staff is top. It is particularly recommended to sit outside on the terrace on a warm summer evening.

Cute restaurant close to the river. The food was good, our group for the tapas for 3, artic char, pulpo, and scallops. The toblerone mousse was delicious but the strawberry cake was not. They do give you some lemoncello in between appetizers and the main course. Good vegetarian options as well.

The service is always friendly when you come, you are always warmly welcomed. The food is always freshly prepared and served with a lot of love.

The tapas sampler was delicious and nothing like you would expect. There are options to please every palate but the menu is still small enough that they ensure great quality on every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Great wine selecting and very good cocktails. The Dark 'N' Stormy is particularly good.

The food is very good at Parterre One. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed by the staff. One of us has a severe nut allergy. That's why we communicated this in advance by email. When we ordered, we also asked again whether it contained nuts. Everything was denied. After the first bite I immediately had an allergic reaction. We asked again twice to be sure. We were told no twice. Only when we explicitly asked whether there were nuts in the pesto did this suddenly become the case. Unfortunately it was too late because the allergic reaction was already there. At the end they wanted to charge us for the food that we couldn't eat because of the nuts. Absolutely unprofessional and unthinkable for us that the staff in a restaurant like this knows nothing about allergens.

Hi, I wanted to treat myself to a great restaurant again but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. When we arrived, our reserved table was not yet ready. When we ordered we were informed that the deer entercôte, which I was really looking forward to, was sold out. Alternatively, I was offered beef fillet, which would have been great, but unfortunately the plate and the meat were cold/room temperature and the side dishes could have been a little more generous for the price of 45.-. If the meat had been hot we would have gone home completely satisfied and smiling.

The place is very pleasant and the service is top notch. The dishes were exquisite and so was the wine. Besides, the dishes offered on the menu were great. The choice was difficult. We had cocktails as an aperitif and it was great.

Very good food. Friendly and courteous service. Our daughter celebrated her 20th birthday today. For the occasion, the table was beautifully decorated and Happy Birthday balloons were hung on the chairs. Really great! For dessert there was a happy birthday from the employees...

OK, it was the last evening of the Tattoo... but: food, minimal selection, top price limit but definitely tasty - except for the half-raw patty of the burger. The risotto (sensational) was outrageously expensive at CHF 33.00. The service is strange - funny but job-wise (still) very relaxed, so not really great. Maybe a missed opportunity as a comedian? Forgetting - mixing things up - and putting almost the first guests of the evening in the blazing sun is very clumsy. You could definitely have asked if you would like to be fried until crispy at 31°. So two of the guests were a lot better cooked during the sunbathing - like the patty of the burger... Ergo, a few incongruous things too many for an evening for four. And between you and me: who still claims that Zurich is expensive? Basel tops it so much...

The service was friendly and quick despite the stress of the tattoo. The starters were good, the main course was unfortunately lukewarm and 4 entrecôte for almost 50.- was rather poor. The entrecôte was more like 1cm. Thick "beef platter" and the cooking levels couldn't be maintained. It's a shame. As compensation there was a grappa.

Great service and good quality from the kitchen

You can put together your own lunch menu consisting of a starter, main course and dessert. There are also vegetarian versions. I ordered a gazpacho and a gratinated goat cheese with mixed salad. Both were good, but the portions were rather small. At the same time, a generously stuffed beef burger with side dishes was served at the next table, for the same price as my small goat cheese with salad. I don't think that's okay, it wasn't equivalent at all, neither in terms of food costs nor in terms of calories. In any case, I was still hungry after dinner, despite the starter.

Very tasty food, great ambience and we were able to change seats easily upon request. If you want a specific spot (in the sun, in the shade, outside or inside...) be sure to reserve it. The terrace is full, especially on nice days. Staff generally friendly to very friendly, individual employees seem stressed. Quality of the food is top! Also the ice cream, premium. The visit was very worthwhile.

We were at this restaurant a few weeks ago with a large group. The waiter was very accommodating and the drinks were great. The food would also have been good if it hadn't arrived cold. The orders sometimes took a really long time. The perfect restaurant for a small group, but unfortunately sometimes overwhelming for larger groups.

Heute Abend war es wieder so weit. Einmal im Monat treffe ich mich mit meinen Arbeitskollegen zu einem kulinarischen Dinner. (Abgesehen vom Lockdown, wo wir auf unsere eigenen 4 Wände ausweichen mussten!) Wie dem auch sei... Parterre One war heute angesagt! Hatte als Vorspeise ein Carpiacco Di Manzo. Super gewürzt, Fleisch frisch und rot mit Parmesan und Rucola garniert. Simpel gehalten, genau wie ich es mag! Als Hauptspeise ein Rindsfilet mit Kartoffelpuffern. Auch hier nichts zu kritisieren. Schon der erste Biss war ein Gedicht und ich fühlte mich wieder wie in Argentinien mit 20. Bedienung war freundlich und effizient, Lage super im Herzen von Basel.Dicke Empfehlung Alors amusez-vous à essayer!

Tout y est agréable !! La cuisine, le personnel, le lieu. En cette période un peu compliquée les règles de sécurité sont scrupuleusement respectées. Le personnel parle au moins 4 langues dont le français. La terrasse vous permettra de profiter les bandes de musique.

Das Restaurant ist einfach eingerichtet und hat auch Kunst, die als Dekoelemente dient, zu bieten. Das Personal war recht freundlich und angenehm. Ich wurde gut für das Menü beraten.Die Speisen waren äussert schön präsentiert und schmeckten recht gut. Der Apéro ein Gin mit Matcha Tonic und Limettensaft schmeckte ausgezeichnet, gefolgt von einer Buddha Bowl die wunderbar überzeugend abgestimmt und auch stimmig präsentiert. Als Hauptgang wählte ich das Hirschentrecôte mit Rotkraut und Spätzli, nun mir war das Fleisch gerade ein bisschen zu wenig durch, geschmeckt hats aber ausgezeichnet. Das Rotkraut konnte mich überhaupt mich überzeugen, irgendeine Zutat war mir zu viel enthalten und das störte mich im Gaumen. Beim Dessert einer Feigen Tarte Tatin stimmte die Kombination aus Biskuit, Feigen und Eis, schade war dass der Blätterteigboden nur am Rand noch knusprig war, der Rest war nur ein weiches etwas an Teig.Das Essen schmeckte alles in allem sehr gut, wobei es bei den einzelnen Zutaten noch ein bisschen optimierungsbedarf gibt.Der Aufenthalt war angenehm, ich persönlich würde nicht sofort wiederkommen, bin aber auch nicht abgeneigt wieder einmal schauen zu kommen was sich geändert hat.

Sollte man nach Basel kommen, ist das Parterre One ein perfektes Lokal zum Ausgehen. Ob mit Freunden oder Familie. Entspannt zuvorkommender und flinker Service gepaart mit genussvoll Küche. Preis Leistung sehr gut.

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant zeichnet sich vor allem dadurch aus, dass Sie nicht das Gefühl haben, dort fehl am Platz zu sein. Die Bestellung des Schnitzels erfolgt auf einem Formular, in dem aus vielen verschiedenen Variationen das beste ausgewählt werden kann.
