A treat, a beautiful decor, a lovely welcome and above all what a joy to be able to eat gourmet gluten-free food 😋

For me one of the top Swiss Italian restaurants. Having gone several times and tasted several starters, dishes and desserts, it was always very good. The pizza from the first bite you feel the taste of there tomatoes and cheeses. The pasta is delicious. Octopus a delight cooking presentations top. I will make a little effort on the coffee though I think there's better. But honestly otherwise it's really good

Marguerita variant with mushrooms and ham...Good pizza but 9chf for a small Moretti beer and 8chf for a dl of local red, too expensive.

Very fine, rich pizzas with high-quality ingredients that are worth the money. As a starter we had fried calamari. It tasted very fresh and was breaded wonderfully. We were very satisfied with the food and the service.

Staff and warm welcome but a little disappointed by the value for money. The wine was too cold, when we pointed out to the waiter he said that the wines were served at 14 degrees....I think we must not all have the same notion of temperature ;-). No research in the presentation of the dishes, it is very basic but everything was good.

No beer on tap!!!? Only a bottle at a huge price. Seriously - before the renovation I could get a pint here. Now it’s only bottled Moretti at 9chf a bottle. Shame

Magnificent restaurant with a very good atmosphere and friendly and efficient waiter The delicious pizzas, we would dare to say the best in a restaurant Small downside for our meal: the person who ordered gnocchi was able to eat them 15 minutes before the arrival of our pizzas, so it was not really friendly for the table.

Very warm welcome and excellent gluten-free pizzas. The place is very cozy and the staff very kind. The service is fast and professional. The gluten-free pizzas are really very good and above all the dough is homemade! A big plus! A must-see address in Villars!

Delicious pizza although a little expensive!

There was no music playing, which makes it less atmospheric. They hardly speak English, only French. Everything else is perfect

2 people out of 3 (the 2 had 2 of the same pizzas) got food poisoned. Restaurant has been contacted several times before getting a "we'll look into it" type of answer. Thanks for the ruined following day. Could have been handled better.

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Villars! The atmosphere is warm, the dishes are varied and delicious, and the service is always attentive. I have had the pleasure of going there more than three times and I have never been disappointed. If I had to recommend two essentials: - Amalfi pizza with lemon zest, to enjoy as a starter to share or as a main course. - Sgroppino, a scoop of lemon sorbet with limoncello. Just perfect to end a meal. It is the ideal place for an evening with family or friends. I'm already looking forward to coming back this winter!

Probably the best Italian restaurant I have eaten in in Switzerland, definitely worth trying if you come to Villars! I recommend the Amalfi pizza, the dough melts in your mouth and the lemon-burrata mixture is exquisite.

Little choice and still expensive for what is offered

The stars say it all: the food was absolutely top and the prices were very fair, the service was simply a flop, not to say a disaster. Offering a coffee would be the least!

A very nice restaurant where you are well served and where you eat very well. The prices are affordable and the decoration is neat. The Tiramisus were huge! 1 for 2 should be enough :)

Very nice. Great selection of Italian food, high quality, and all very tasty. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Reasonably priced. As it is part of a hotel, the kids' club room is also easily accessible.

This was some of the best Pizza I've ever had, but unfortunately I didn't get to have my pizza served by Peppino Spaghetti from the hit game Pizza Tower™ himself. Plus my pizza looked nothing like Pizza Face from the hit game Pizza Tower™. 3/10

Excellent pizza and very friendly servers

Delicious food, good service, but disappointing deserts. When you come to a restaurant of apparently such a caliber, the last thing you except is to get your apple cake warmed up in a microwave. Pizza was great though, who ever thought having a microwave in such a restaurant should really think about getting rid of it…

Absolutely amazing pizza! And very accommodating for allergies - my partner has gluten/dairy intolerance so food in the Alps can be difficult, but he was able to go wild here

A very “Italian Ristorante” atmosphere in the mountains. The map is fortunately not very big and everything is good. The calamarata alle vongole is a killer not to be missed under any circumstances, the gnocchetti with ragù hummmm, the artichokes or the squid as a starter… not to mention the pizzas. In short, a real pleasure after a day of skiing or hiking. The staff is smiling, kind and attentive and the clientele is simple and family-oriented, no bling bling at Peppino. A real surprise at this restaurant.

When everything is right! Location, welcome, service, food, atmosphere! Attentive, available and very efficient staff despite a full restaurant. All dishes were excellent. We went there 2 evenings with 11 people. Without fail. Very high quality in all respects which deserves to be mentioned.

Restaurant whose Italian cuisine is certainly worth the detour, for the freshness and flavor of its products! The antipasti are of exceptional quality! The pizzas are succulent, the primi and secondi, a treat, and the desserts divine! The setting is very warm! Very good address!

While visiting Villars, we found this pizzeria by chance and we were so impressed that we went back the next day! Whether it was the very pleasant setting, the efficient and friendly staff and of course the cuisine, everything was a good experience as they say now 😄 The 2 vegan à la carte dishes were very popular, as were the other dishes. Good wine too. The icing on the cake would be a real vegan dessert 🤗(no sorbet). We recommend!

Great Italiano food but the staff seemed stressed and over worked. It took over an hour just to take our orders after we sat down.

Beautiful place with friendly service and fresh and delicious dishes! We went there for a bachelorette party (15 people), the dishes arrived relatively quickly and all at the same time! I recommend the oven-roasted vegetables, a pure marvel :)

An excellent Italian, family restaurant. I recommend the Dolce Vita menu composed of surprises from the chef. A beautiful Italian starter to share followed by a few varieties of homemade pasta also to share, a surprise pizza and a surprise dessert as well. Be careful though, it's very very filling.

During our week of holiday we ate at Peppino twice. The building in which the restaurant is located is still under construction/renovation. But the restaurant is ready and is nicely decorated. Delicious food and friendly service. If you like Italian food, this restaurant is definitely recommended!

At first glance, the terrace near the road and then the not very extensive menu didn't really appeal to me. The very good service and high-level cuisine quickly made me change my mind. I ate the best pork ribs of my life. However, I have been doing it in restaurants for years in 23 countries. The vegetable and potato plate that accompanied it was succulent. Plus the prices are fair. Continue on this path.

Pizza was burnt crust with a few dry veggies... They try to push alcohol sales which is a NoNo for me in restaurants.. Atmosphere lacks any energy or friendliness..

The service was fantastic, and our waitress was so sweet! The gnocchi was amazing!! Also highly recommend the calamari and burrata! Best food I've had in Villars hands down!

This place is excellent. Perfect pizza, incredible pork ribs - and if you know a thing or two about restaurants you know how hard it is to find good ribs. Great pasta! Beautifuly served. This place has everything!

The pizza is fresh and delicious. The crust was the winner though, being fermented for 48 hours, It was fluffy and soft and the sauce plus toppings had wonderful fresh flavors. The actual restaurant is beautiful in design as well. Servers were wonderful and provided us with English menus which we appreciated.

Incredible service, fabulous pizzas and I'm not telling you about the limoncello dessert. Only happiness

Decent pizza, slow service, fortunately Ricardo got ahead of his manager who had completely forgotten us once installed (5cvts) his advice was great and the anti pasti advice by himself was full of flavor. Nothing like the pepino from before… But thanks to the very warm waiter

Excellent restaurant, famous pizza and excellent ice cream

The recently renewed Peppino offered an unforgettable dinner at the magical village of Villars. The open kitchen together with the classy, yet cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was of my particular liking. Waiters were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced which ensured that the delicious food and fresh drinks were delivered to the highest standards. As part of big group I got to taste many heavenly dishes from which the “Gnocchi alla Sorrentina left an long-lasting impression of excellence in Italian Cuisine. I strongly suggest finishing a meal with the Sgroppino. Definitely revisiting this amazing restaurant in the Swiss Alps!

Amazing restaurant! From the plate to the restaurant decor, everything is perfect! Quick service, the vongole pasta and tiramisu are incredible! The boss is present, comes to ask us if everything is going well and helps out! Nothing to complain about, we recommend it +++!

Service & hospitality is hard to find here. Absolutely worthless. Indicated several times that we do not speak French, but the Spanish (!) lady apparently did not fully understand that. Made it clear that I'm allergic to onions, only to receive a pizza with (you guessed it) onions! And then get a look like I made a mistake. The taste of the food is the only reason they even get a star from me. But this is definitely a place to never come back to.

If you don't speak French you are apparently not welcome, reservation at 6:30 PM and when you sit down you are immediately told that you have to leave at 8:00 PM because of the next person. Waited half an hour for drinks, they don't do special orders, 0 service, a shame.

A warm and friendly place, superbly renovated where traditional Italian cuisine is magnified. The products are fresh, tasty and processed. The delicate and attentive staff made us have an excellent dinner. I particularly recommend the octopus and the Cacciucco soup which are real delights!

Had a wonderful evening and meal at this authentic Italian restaurant. I came here two years ago, and the evolution is spectacular. I ordered the grilled octopus following joaquino’s advice and was not disappointed. The Amalfi pizza was like nothing I’ve tasted before. You can really taste the quality of the products. Thank you peppino’s for an amazing culinary experience in the heart of the alps.

This restaurant is amazing, one of the best in Villars since opening in December 2021. You can get proscuitto di parma freshly cut, homemade pasta and amazing appetizers. The Neapolitan style pizza was very authentic and extremely good. The gelato was so good, thick and creamy, with my favorite flavors being pistachio and hazelnut. Must try the Tiramisù! Best restaurant in town if you want a classy, contemporary and vibrant atmosphere with high quality and authentic food to meet friends for a night out, after work, or after skiing. Incredible waiters and service, they even brought more pistachio ice cream on the house when they saw we enjoyed it so much!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in Switzerland (finally some good neapolitan style pizza!) - and possibly the only real authentic experience in the area. Highly recommended - make sure you try some of their Antipasti!
