I regularly go to Catillon during my walks in Moléson for its regional and local cuisine. What was my surprise when we had the burger. The waiter tells us that it is with “Valais” cuchaule. Firstly La cuchaule has an AOP. So in no case is it a mistake if it is produced in Valais. Secondly, it seems to me that there are many bakers in Gruyère who produce the real AOP cuchaule, why source them from Valais? And finally, it doesn't seem to me that Valais can be considered "regional". Plus your burgers were much better with the AOP cuchaule, like before... Fortunately there is still Plan-Francey which makes burgers with the real AOP cuchaule. When we come to Moléson we want to have Gruyère products. Not products from elsewhere. I hope you change your perspective...

The worst expirience in my life. As a hotel and a place of holiday, the noise at night makes impossible to sleep. When i was there, many families are complening about a group of kids, and nobody at the hotel didin't do anything. The screming and the kicking persist at the whole night. We couldn't sleep at all. The people of the hotel, didin't care about all the complenings.

We waited a lot...beautiful young waitresses not in the profession...who serve drinks and clear the tables of customers who are leaving...but we see the customers waiting...for a long time...fortunately Maxence is fast...but he is not not superman. I will not come back because it is a tourist trap, train your staff sir!!! A couple left the table after waiting… such a beautiful region, sad….

To begin with, the organization and repair of tables by server is not great, 5 different servers came to serve us and ask us the same questions several times. Then we asked for a mixed board because it was not offered, the cook did not want to do it because supposedly there was no room to do it (photo attached). Then we ordered 1 half-and-half fondue for two people (2 people specified) but we only received 1 portion to be divided between 2 people. The fondue was rubbery and in 2 pieces of bread it was finished! That’s why I don’t recommend it!!

We had the most wonderful meal here, most of us had rosti but the kids had burger and chicken nuggets, both of which were real meat and were delicious! Rostis were perfectly cooked, and tasted amazing, and the desert ice cream was perfect. All was topped off by the friendliest staff who made us feel very welcome (and put up with our poor French, désolé). I can highly recommend this place, we visited in summer but I'm sure it's just as good in the winter season. We'll be back!
