Pizza Time in Basel

Unfortunately the service is very bad. Although I ordered a pizza via an online app, it was only after a phone call (after waiting for over an hour) that the owner announced that the delivery would not be worth it and would therefore cancel. The pizza was never delivered and the owner made no attempt to change this. Such an incident has never happened to me before on the online food ordering app.

I always recommend the pizza, but if you order it you can wait a long time. Ordered at 10:53 p.m., it arrived at 12:40 a.m. It felt warmed twice and the salami was rock hard, at 12:15 a.m. I gave up hope, anticipation turned into powerlessness and anger. My order was forgotten to be picked up 1-2 times. You always have to wait beyond your patience limit. It's a shame, a lot of potential was thrown into the trash.

I regularly ordered there via the website as the pizzeria is just around the corner. In order to get over the minimum order value as a single, I always took the pizza menu, which unfortunately is no longer available. Pizza (mostly Magaritha) was always good. Only once did I have one with tiramisu that seemed to have gone bad. Another time the salad dressing was missing and the phone call about it was a complete disaster because apparently no one with any knowledge of German or English was present. A second salad came instead of the sauce. The driver then spoke German and apologized for the problem and brought the sauce a short time later.

Where should I start? Service was terrible, had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for the food to arrive! I live 2 minutes away by car😂 Food: The taste was ok, but please look at this pide, 1/3 of it is rubbish, it's a shame to sell such morsels with no receipt. catastrophe Nothing will ever be ordered there again

The food itself was good, but the service was very poor. According to the restaurant we were able to pick up the food in 20 minutes but ended up having to wait 40 minutes, absolutely bad!

The pizza is good, but a good pizza is of no use if you have to wait 50 minutes instead of 20 as confirmed and then go back to work and have no time to eat.

The food is supper, I ordered a cordonbleu and was shocked when I saw it, it was thin but it was extremely large, delivery arrived on time as described, plus potatoes that were extremely good as they should be, great price performance The pizza is also great there

Cordonbleu delicious, but again delivered TOO EARLY! Not the first time, happens again and again, sometimes 30/45 minutes, maximum was 2 hours TOO EARLY! It will simply be delivered immediately, no matter what time you specify! Please FINALLY get this under control!

I've been coming here on and off for 4 years. I can highly recommend the pizzas and the veal cordon bleu. The restaurant is very friendly and accommodating.

Waited over 30 minutes for pizza... pizza tastes like pizza, pizza with chicken and pineapple bought, there's not enough chicken on it and a slice of pineapple..

I ordered a pizza online. After more than 90 minutes I called them and they told me that they didn't drive on Riehen for less than 50 francs. They didn't even report. It would have been a distance of exactly 9 minutes… ridiculous. Thanks for nothing

The staff is actually quite friendly. Pizza OK. The pizza naja olives are not from Italy but from Turkey or Montenegro. It's a shame man shouldn't skimp on the ingredients.

The food is great, only the spicy one was on the wrong pizza so it couldn't be eaten. Otherwise great.

Small, Cozy, Funny, Friendly Staff. Eating Schnitzel, Gordonblue Homemade with real cheese no salt fat processed cheese mixture. Hearty good cheese. Pasta seafood. Food simple selection manageable not so overloaded. A great restaurant where you can eat in, take away or order. For me now that's where I go if I want pizza. Ah yes with a small yard with a hedge and some greenery. Cozy especially for two if you want something quieter, perfect. I love the food where they make just big portions and the price is also good for the portion and sizes.

Good pizza but I paid 7 francs more because I ate there. Ice tea cost 6 francs. Simply overpriced

I've always had good experiences there but today my food wasn't there after 2 hours, that's not possible.

My Pizza Desiderio was correctly and generously topped according to my wishes. The taste, however, wasn't particularly special; I had the impression that the best ingredients weren't used. The delivery took place in the specified time. The delivery person was very friendly. The price was cheap compared to other pizza delivery companies. Nevertheless, I wouldn't order here again.

The food is good (Cordon Bleu), the service has flopped several times. Ordered but never received anything, problems with online payments that you were only informed about after an hour of waiting (and therefore waited 2 hours for the food), etc.

We have eaten well (vegan) in this pizzeria several times and can therefore only recommend this pizzeria! In addition, the service was always very friendly and they have nice outdoor seating in the backyard.

Ich war vor 3 Tagen zu Gast es war einfach ein Super Abend . Die Freundliche Service Mitarbeiterin und das Essen Schwein Cordonbleu mit Tartar war einfach klasse . Ich konnte es leider nicht fertig essen da es in meinem Augen etwas zu gross war aber sehr fein . Danke

I've been there 4 times a week for over a year and I'm very satisfied 😋 And the employees, yes hey, they're just people too. I came across Pizza Time by chance. And that was great!🙌🏻 I met 3 employees (Sarah, Edi and "the driver" (unfortunately I can't remember the name)) really great employees! They really enjoy their job and it shows. I'd love to come back and eat there next time. But everything is possible. Eat in the restaurant, take away and home delivery. Pizza was great and the tiramisù tasted great, but the sponge cake could be wetter (of course it's a matter of taste (I'm a huge tiramisù fan)) What I'm also going to try is the Cordon Bleu, which came highly recommended. I am excited. See you soon 😃🙌🏻

The pizzas are a great size, some a little oily. But the timing is really bad, especially if we pick you up ourselves. A 30 minute waiting time suddenly becomes 50 minutes. Don't feel like having to wait there every time. Better say 50 minutes on the phone and stick to it!

Food was fine but not that cheap

We've been ordering from Pizza Time for a long time, But unfortunately things are getting worse with the delivery, the last 5 deliveries came with the wrong ingredients and when I said so I was told to write an email. I did so and haven't received an answer to date. I'm a professional chef and I know how things should work The delivery time has also become really long and I only live 500m from the pizzeria, which is a shame because the pizzas are actually good

Definitely my favorite in Gundeli. Extremely delicious pizzas and can be picked up from 1.50 p.m. (Monday is pizza day) for a 40cm pizza. The menu offers some vegan/vegetarian variations, although I would welcome a larger meat-free selection and inspiration. Otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant.

Pizza is actually always good. Delivery time just like that. I've never gotten the right kind of ice cream!

I pick up my order myself and am very satisfied with the Pizza Time team! Once I ordered six pizzas on the Ueli-Fähri and it was delivered. Insider tip: Chicken nuggets and chicken cordon bleu are homemade and super juicy.

They offer vegan pizza with vegan cheese on it. The quality of the vegan cheese is really good, the service told me that they get it from the local vegan shop at the missionsstrasse. For vegans who miss eating pizza, I would totally recommend this place. The woman who did the service was also very nice and helpful.

No teníamos muchas opciones cuando caminábamos de la estación a nuestros hoteles en Dornacherstasse a última hora del lunes por la noche. Nos sorprendió que el lugar estuviera abierto. Como su nombre indica, el menú es predominantemente de pizza, pero la comida era buena y la cerveza fría. Acerca de CHF 70 para tres de nosotros no parece barato, ¡pero es para Basilea!

Das Essen ist sehr gut hier. Geschmackvoll und gute Portion. Ambiente lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die meisten Restaurants in der Umgebung schliessen schon um 22:00 Uhr - bei pizza time bekommt man auch noch nach 22:00 Uhr ein leckeres Essen.

Klein, aber fein: "Pizza Time", meine Neuentdeckung! Seit ich im Gundeli alle paar Wochen um 19 Uhr ein Seminar besuche, vor dem ich nach der Arbeit nicht allzu viel Zeit habe und trotzdem etwas Warmes, Gefälliges essen möchte, suche ich seit Langem nach geeigneten Lokalen. Nun bin ich fündig geworden: Wie ich das einfache Restaurant betrete, spüre ich sogleich eine positive Energie. "Hier weht ein guter Geist!", denke ich so bei mir. Das "Pizza Time" scheint ein Familienbetrieb zu sein und man sieht und spürt die Liebe zum Detail. Eine freundlich lächelnde Frau begrüsst mich und ich darf mich setzen, wo ich will. Die Speisekarte bietet fast schon zu viel Auswahl für meinen Geschmack, was durchaus positiv gemeint ist! Üblicherweise finde ich so zwei bis maximal fünf Gerichte, die mir wirklich zusagen, aber hier habe ich die Qual der Wahl ... Ich entscheide mich für Tortellini mit Fleischfüllung an Champignon-Rahmsauce. Obwohl die Wirtsleute offenbar gerade mit einem technischen Kassensystem-Problem konfrontiert sind, das kurz ihre ganze Aufmerksamkeit fordert, wird mein Essen nach angemessener Zeit serviert - und schmeckt mir hervorragend: Die Tortellini sind wunderbar al dente und die Sauce ist in Geschmack und Konsistenz hervorragend. Besonders schönes Detail: Ich wurde vorgängig gefragt, ob ich die Sauce mit oder ohne Zwiebeln möchte. An dieser Stelle eine wohlgemeinte Anregung an den Koch: Die Hälfte der Sauce wäre genug gewesen und hätte auf dem Teller ausserdem noch besser ausgesehen - war wohl etwas zu gut gemeint ... :-) Zum Abschluss bestelle ich einen Espresso und danach wird mir die überaus moderate Rechnung präsentiert. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis = top! Ich komme bestimmt wieder und wieder und wieder ...

We had to wait a long time for delivery on Tuesday (over an hour), but we received a free bottle of wine and ice tea, that's fair. About the pizza: it's huge, so it's a fair price, but the pizza was rather sparsely topped, was that mozzarella? Whole pizza very dry and quite bland, far too little tomato sauce, if any. And I would now venture to assume that this is not a real Italian. I don't have to have it anymore, but it's still better than Pizza Blitz.

Catastrophe. I ordered spaghetti carbonara. Why on earth do you put ham in it? Had the equivalent of about 10 grams of bacon and the other 100 grams were ham! In addition, the woman working on the phone is extremely arrogant and cheeky! Incredible! My conclusion: order from another supplier. Food bad. Service was cheeky and the quality of the food was 2 out of 10!

Salami pizza ordered on July 18, 2015 at 7:27 p.m. Pizza arrived after about 20 minutes, so far OK. The cost was crazy, 21CHF for a simple salami pizza. About 6 slices of salami on it and the rest of bad tasting instant cheese and charging 21CHF for it, just a disgrace. Never again!

Cheap and very large pizzas. Quite good quality too. I'd rather take out than stay there though.
