Pouly in Genève

The quality at the FRUIT BAR is top notch, “Geneva” prices. On the other hand, there is a severe shortage of staff, especially during peak hours, when you have to systematically pick up the employee at the next counters. If there was a competitor nearby, unfortunately I would go without delay.

There is a very big organizational problem... Between the posted opening hours and reality... It's Saturday... posted open until 9 p.m. and at 5:33 p.m. the door to your juice bar closes in front of me . I don't blame your staff who are always very friendly but obviously there is no longer a pilot on the plane... and the image given is not worth more than the single star... too bad because again once your colleagues are very friendly and competent.

No one at the self-service counter. After 2 minutes of waiting, someone finally comes. Very (too) bitter coffee.

The staff are lovely and I thank them however I think the hierarchy lacks management and organization, you are sometimes forced to wait far too long for someone to serve you because he/she is busy serving the shop just outside. side, the staff slaloming between the two is this normal? Recruitment problem or bad management no idea in any case it's a shame because I like to go there every morning to have a nice fresh juice, I don't know if I'm going to continue...

Wanting to drink a freshly squeezed fruit juice, I pass by the tearoom side as the sign indicates if there is no one there and a gentleman tells me ah for juices ok and right behind a young woman indicates no no the machine is in breakdown! But I want carrot juice no but no the whole system is broken 😅 Well thank you for this new year of talking nonsense and too bad for the people who were with me and after me.

Bad industrial quality, not a real bakery - run away as it is just for tourists

A horribly expensive disaster. For a breaded chicken sandwich costing more than 10chf you have the added bonus of food poisoning. And what could be better than that before taking the train for the Christmas holidays. Thank you Aimé Pouly!!! Never again and to be banned.

Today, 7:44 I bought a milk roll and a chocolate roll... But in all honesty... It was dry, so much so that for me it wasn't morning pieces but from the day before... In short.... Blah blah

I ordered a juice containing celery, to my amazement, the celery was not washed! It was inserted into the shield with the earth debris! The first rule of hygiene was therefore not respected!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the bakery Aimé Pouly in the underground of Geneva main train station (Cornavin). There various options between traditional bakery items and salads. Various bottled fruit juices are also available. My almond croissant was very good but a bit liquid inside as it was very hot. They have tables available. Check the left and right side stores as products might slightly differ. Overall a good option before taking your train.

The staff is always very friendly and yet I am there very early in the morning. Bravo to them.

Visit today, September 10 at 8:00 p.m.... empty window, no choice while bags are stored next to it, strange... The lady in the shop, not smiling, busy cleaning rather than serving me. Damage

I order a cappuccino to drink on site, I see that the spoon is dirty/unwashed. I go to the counter and ask "can you give me a clean spoon please?" the waiter snaps, immediately refuses to replace my spoon and asks me to speak to him politely, something never seen before in service! I wasn't even rude for a moment and got caught like that. No thanks for going back to treat me the same way! Attendance on 08/18/2023 4 p.m.

We stopped by yesterday evening to get a fresh juice, the very professional seller recommended our excellent fresh juices, thank you to the seller for his advice and his professionalism! We will come back and recommend this juice bar!

The products sold are excellent: Pastries, pastries, sandwiches etc. A little crush on the fresh fruit/vegetable juice bar 👍 The staff always smiling and available 😉

Great service, the juice bar was just closing and we had to buy the pre-made juice from the fridge (which was only a small size). The lady at the counter gave us an extra bottle for free. Such a nice gesture is very much appreciated!

I love coming to this bakery, a very very warm welcome, the employees are very adorable and I would like to point out that their apple turnovers are just incredible 😻

The fresh juices are great- no complaints. Love the fresh OJ with a "shot" of ginger and lemon. Apple and banana is also delicious. My main issue is WHY is it always so slow??? No matter who is behind the counter, in my experience, it takes 8 minutes (I have been timing it) from order to being handed your juice. If there is one person ahead of me, I'll wait- more than that, and I'm gone. My other issue is the price. 4dl of anything is 7.30- that has to be AT LEAST four times the price of the raw ingredients. Making it a special treat rather than something to be enjoyed regularly. Such a shame.

At the juice bar, they ask you the size of the glass and you put what you want in it!!! Very nice

5.80 a latte macchiato. Go your way. Hotel des Bergues cheaper. Too bad for the waitresses.

Passing through the station on Sunday, I stopped at the tea room, friendly welcome and very good products, delicious coffee and muffins. I recommend!!

Pathetic service, we arrived in a very dirty cafe. First time in my life that I have to go get my croissant in the annex opposite.

Impolite seller, smallest quantity ever, garbage experience! Since one cannot specify the diet at the time of too good to go order, I should follow the instruction of the app and ask the seller at the pick-up to consider it. However, the lady in the Aime Pouly-Gare CFF disrespectfully said that she doesn't care if I don't eat meat, and forced me to take a chicken sandwich (the bag had 2 items) or my money will be gone. I usually had a good experience there but this time it was disastrous, what a shame!

The ramequins au fromage and also the saumon version are tasty. The coffee is not always good. Overall it’s a good place in the station considering that the staff is usually nice. 👍🏼

Quick service for a coffee and croissant order.

I came very regularly to Pouly at the station for my 4 a.m. or lunch. I was often served by Caroline who was truly a model employee, helpful and smiling. It's rare to come across staff who are always as pleasant as they could be. I have just learned of his dismissal and will no longer be coming back to Pouly, it's a shame!

How disappointed I was to learn that your new leaders prefer to keep mediocre employees to the detriment of serious and committed people!!! I am not congratulating you and know that you are losing me among your loyal customers…

New to the region, I passed by Gare Cornavin and discovered the Pouly bakery. What a treat! What a pleasure for the eyes. They are everywhere, it’s incredible. It is often said that too much choice kills choice, but quite the opposite has happened. I left with my hands full. But my best encounter was with the saleswoman Estelle. Her beautiful smile and warm welcome very early in the morning have no equal. As someone who is not a morning person, I now know where to go and, above all, who to see in order to get my day off to a good start.

Not a day goes by without me stopping at Pouly at Gare Cornavin. Faithful to its great reputation, the quality is always there, as is the warm welcome that makes you want to come back. Special mention for Céline, Caroline and Karima, favorite for Ophélie ;) So no need to tell you to go there with your eyes closed 👍👍👍👍

Totally unpleasant, no smile, no hello. I came at the end of the afternoon and a waitress with a Spanish Italian accent served me. Horrible reception I had to disturb because she was on her phone I was sent away without being given my bag. she leaves to sit down without saying goodbye and in addition keeps my bag I will never come back again thanks to the competition for a better welcome.

However, I was a regular customer. This Easter Monday around 6:45 p.m., I wanted to have a little espresso while waiting for my train which was leaving in 18 minutes. The young saleswoman, holding her face, served a mother who was taking her time choosing drinks for her children. Politely I ask the waitress who was waiting for nothing to serve me an espresso. She would have easily had time without stressing. She purposely didn't even answer me, keeping her haughty air. I went to the competition where I was served immediately.

Like the other Pouly Bakery options across the town of Geneva, this is no exception in it's quality of pastries and hot drinks/snacks that they have to offer you. It's spacious spanning in fact two areas underneath Cornavin station separated by the pedestrian walkway leading to the escalator up. Staff were friendly when I was last here and overall the ambiance is pretty nice. Recommended!

Expensive and bad service. The waiter pulls his face when you spontaneously present the health pass, deliberately does not take into account the offers (snack menu) and serves a spilled coffee instead of a café crème. Deplorable, I will not return there again.

Go your way. 110g of milk chocolate and almonds: CHF 14.40!!! Industrial pastries and incompetent staff. There are much better places in Geneva (Tres’Alpain, Ducret, St-Honoré, even Pougnier and so on). Never again

The service is lousy and does not justify its price. There is no indication that it is self service and we wait forever before realizing that it is our turn to order at the bar. The prices are prohibitive and do not justify such poor service.

Yesterday a gentleman entered the store, I imagine at closing, the saleswoman told him it was closed, while the counter was full, they prefer to throw away than sell, disappointing

Disappointed. I bought a soup for 6.30chf, too expensive for the little that was in the pot. Call it a squash soup. Far too many lumps for a velouté. I think it's stealing.

Nice place to have a coffee break, the staff is really nice and attentive. The pastries are really good, as well as their sandwiches. The downside is that the coffee is sometimes a bit bitter and the bread feels like it’s not so fresh.

Shop not easy to find. It is at the far left of the shopping center. On the other hand, it is definitely worth it! The Smoothies are made in front of you and tailor-made. Very friendly and smiling staff! To discover :)

What can we say about Pouly? It's a chain so the products are not fresh but industrial while being too expensive for what they are...and are not very good. I had to reluctantly throw away a sandwich because it was inedible (after having first offered it to a beggar anyway), quite simply (although I'm not usually picky)...good or very bad service depending on the person...they should question themselves about the QUALITY of their products and not take customers for idiots anyway...

Breakfast opposite: Cappuccino full of water, no choice of jam apart from quince, croissant not good, service at the bar so the small one already costs 7.50 see photos the only positive point the smile of the Person who served us THANKS
