We were there spontaneously in the evening, unfortunately the staff only spoke a little German. The fresh cutlery I was given hadn't grown properly and you could still see leftover food (see picture), which happens quickly if you don't check it properly, but I think it's a no-go. Rice with chicken & sweet and sour was quite okay, only the sauce was too sweet and for the price of 24.- (+ 4.- drink) I would eat in a different restaurant next time. The ambience was okay but nothing special. But the staff was very friendly.

The best thai food in Switzerland. Their papaya salad is fenomenal, just be careful it can be very spicy. Also pad thai and tom yam soup are must try. The isolation is not so good so it can be quite loud there. Not really a place for a first date but the food is impressive:)

We spontaneously went to this Thai restaurant during Mää. Service was good. You can pay at the counter, but it's ok. We had three different Thai dishes. Chicken meat was ok, but there were large and very small pieces in it. Beef was tough and not ok. The Thai sauces were unusual. We didn't like the sauces with vegetables. I have no idea why it tastes different there than other Thai places. We wouldn't eat there again. Price of the daily menu at 17 or 18 Fr. is cheap. Drink all in PET 4 Fr. also fair.

Ahutentic Thai cuisine. The restaurant is informal, but the personnel is very kind. Service is fast and the dishes are delicious with huge portion. Price below the medium rate in lucern, and this is a big deal. English spoken, credit card accepted.

I went there because of recommendations and didn't know what to order. When I ordered my food it was here very quickly. The price is reasonable. Only thing I can complain about is that the rice is overcooked.

My most favorite place to go for authentic Thai food 👍. The portion is big. Recommend booking ahead as it can get packed during rush hours. Staff is always nice and friendly. This is the only place in Lucerne that I would recommend for locals and tourists, if you ever crave real Thai food.

After reading excellent re reviews online, I went with my family to the place during my visit to Lucerne. Food was quite good. Service was incredibly bad, we were the first customers at the restaurant. Placed orders from the menu, not the fast/pre made menu. I noticed food being delivered to all but our table, after 40+ minutes of waiting at our table I enquired and the lady at the billing mentioned that we have ordered from menu and that will take time, over 45 minutes?? After that a small older Asian lady who was the only server brought white rice alone. We had ordered soups and noodles and curries. I asked her for plates and cutlery and water and she barked off at me saying she is busy. The food came out of order after another request politely for bowls and plates, the server had the audacity to yell at me again and just dropped off bowls, asked me to use the plates that the side items were served on as eating plates. We were 4 people and I had 2 plates. I understand that lunch hour was busy, but I was a paying customer requesting absolutely basic service when giving the restaurant business for over 100fr. To No water or drinks were ever offered. When I was.paying the check, I did mention my displeasure to the lady collecting my payment and she tried to justify that they were busy with other customers. Not sure if this service and hostile behavior was racism or just plain awful service.....anyway, glad I don't live here or will ever go there again. Consider yourself warned, if you are not white, be prepared for illtreatment

As a Korean person who has a bias towards Asian food, this was the BEST Thai food I've ever had! The papaya salad, red curry with tofu and spicy glass noodle salad were absolutely delicious! I would return to Lucerne just for this restaurant. Thank you for an amazing meal!

The first Thai restaurant in a foreign country where I ate and felt... Really delicious like Thai people's taste. Not adapted to foreigners' mouths Each menu is a large dish. Order carefully, don't accidentally order like you're in Thailand or you won't be able to eat it all. Thai staff, good service, highly recommended. The first Thai restaurant I have been to that has authentic Thai taste. Reasonably priced with great service. Each portion is pretty large to Asian standard, order with caution otherwise you won't be able to finish.

I absolutely love the best Pad Thai I have ever found! It's simply the best! What makes me particularly happy is that the restaurant is even willing to add additional onions upon request. This really shows that they care about their customers. I am so grateful for this wonderful experience!

It took nearly an hour for our meals to arrive; Food was served to guests who arrived later than us. We told the female boss, After a while, the male boss came to pay the bill immediately. At this time, we only have drinks (drank) at our seats. We were informed that our meal did not come, At this time, the male boss immediately took away our drinks (not polite) We stopped and said the meal hadn't come yet... After the meal comes, When it came time to check out, the male boss's face didn't look very good. Maybe we go to the front counter to check out? ! A long list of not great experiences But the things are pretty good. Please refer to the above suggestions.

The food tasted good. We ordered a soup, red Thai curry, and stir fried morning glory with Tofu. We couldn't finish the stir fried morning glory, so, we asked for a takeaway and then paid. After we waited for a good 10-15 mins for the takeaway, we went to ask at the counter. They apologized that they forgot, and then handed us a takeaway box which was supposed to be our stir fried morning glory. Since we were in a hurry to catch the train and there was only one other group in the restaurant we didn't check what was inside. We got home, opened the box and it turned out it was not our leftovers but something else. Check the attached picture.

I've been to Prik Thai countless times, both on site and picking up my food there. I have never tested the delivery service. The atmosphere on site is very reminiscent of a "real" restaurant in Thailand - it has rather tight seating, rather loud and usually with Thai music in the background. It's just authentic, which I personally like. But the most important thing here is of course the food. I have spent several months in Thailand and find that Prik prepares very "real" and authentic food, always fresh. For me the best Thai restaurant on the Lucerne square, not the prettiest, but the one with the best food. Very warm and friendly service - also absolutely authentic. In the picture is my favorite Pad Si-Oiew with tofu (picked up this time)!

We are local, came to the restaurant. I was waiting in line as everyone else. When it came to my turn, I asked nicely that I didn't see the price and she gave me bad attitude and told me , the price is in the Menu here and pointed to the Tagesmenu price as well BUT NOT IN THE NICE ATTITUDE, and told me not to waste her time while other ppl waiting. I told her that Don't give me your attitude because I am also your customer and I waited in line as well. My husband, me and my baby was dine in on Sat Lunch there. Would not recommended any local coming here or tourist. I won't come back either. Food: pricy and salty.

Traditional and authentic Thai food! After about 7 days in Lucerne, i was looking for some Indian/Asian restaurant that serves spicy food. This place was recommended by an Asian waiter at the hotel where I was staying. The food was so good that I had my dinners here on all days till I left Lucerne. PS: i was so busy with eating my dinners here that i did not take any photos to add to this review.

The menu here is very rich, there are also menus that you cannot find in other Thai restaurants. My Pad Kapraow was very tasty, authentic with minced meat. The portion was large. My wish for Thai spiciness was fully realized, thank you very much! The restaurant looks more like a take-away, but that doesn't bother me. It's clean. The service is friendly and reserved. The price is perfectly fine at CHF 23 for the large portion.

In principle it was delicious, but it's a shame that she didn't take the "not spicy" request into account. Unfortunately I couldn't share the food with the kids.

Having travelled in Germany and Switzerland for two weeks, we were up for Thai food (which we love back in the States and having visited Thailand). This place is absolutely legit. Excellent Pad dishes and the papaya salad was both artfully presented, spicy, and delicious. Service was typical Thai friendly and we could even watch the Thai Mothers sitting in the back make the flower garnishes out of vegetables as they chatted. Highly recommend. Don’t go for the fancy atmosphere, go for the food.

We were served very friendly and quickly and everyone's food was delicious and generously portioned. Price performance is totally right and the ambience is also appropriate. The only negative point is a problem with the ventilation in the toilet. This needs to be done urgently. Apart from the dripping filter, the bathroom was perfectly clean. We'd love to come back.

The best Thailand restaurant I ever visit. We ordered Tom Yam and Tom Kha with garnelen and seafood. It is indeed pricy, 25 euro each. But it is worth it. The flavour is great, the seafood and shrimp are many. I lost count how many is it and they are big. The waiters are friendly. The vibe is very Thai. It seems they are from Thailand because the can speak Thailand also. 10/10 recommended.

In my opinion the best Thai in town. I always get take-away so I can't say anything about the service in the resto. However, I think the quality of the food is great. Fresh ingredients, excellently prepared, every time so far! Everyone is always super nice and patient.

The grease that comes out of the pipes in the women's bathroom is synonymous with the restaurant's food safety and the lack of quality of the food.
