Very high prices. And you won't be served!

Cappuccino delicious, croissants delicious, orange juice delicious - and a sunny café

Used to be a good place. Since the expansion it has become uncomfortable. The staff is loud and very busy with themselves. 70 cm next to my table discussing who will take on which task. I'm losing the fun of "Café" The prices are above the usual limit, even by Swiss standards. It's becoming unbearable for me here.

Cool location and good drinks. The coffee was too bitter for me personally, but the cocktails and lemonades are great.

Great place and friendly staff. The club sandwich was delicious and the chocolate was really juicy. Can recommend this location.

The food has always been super delicious! Moules et Frites brilliant as well as the lobster rolls and pancakes! I'm not always convinced about the service - sometimes the service is really good, courteous, friendly and nice. Most of the time that was when there wasn't too much going on. On certain visits, however, the service was a little too cocky and full of itself and couldn't distinguish the line between funny service staff and a little too aggressive. It probably depends on who is working and how many people need to be served. I think it's great that there's now an extension! This enhances the good ambience since it is no longer so small.

A magical place! A place to stay. Calmly stylishly comfortable. The service is top. And the focaccia tempts you to have a second helping.

Very good cafe, after the expansion, with a great atmosphere. Service is always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is often inappropriate music that unnecessarily increases the high noise level. The outdoor area is very well done and one of my favorite places in Lucerne. In my opinion the coffee is one of the best in Lucerne.

Our favorite restaurant in the city. The staff is always very friendly. The selection of drinks is very diverse, including non-alcoholic drinks! The croissants are delicious in the morning and the coffee is clearly the best in the city (or even ever). We always enjoy coming here and sometimes twice a day.

We had a lovely lunch here one afternoon on our trip to Lucerne. We walked down to see the lion monument and this place is so close that if you sit outside you can see it from your table which was lovely. The day we went they had a vegan menu on. I often eat vegan but my husband doesn't, and he was very pleasantly surprised. The salad we had was amazing, so many colours and flavours. We were very impressed.

Definitely the best espresso in Lucerne! The monthly pancakes are also awesome.

I visited the Alpineum with friends for a drink. The non-alcoholic cocktails were very delicious. The whole Alpineum team is very friendly and you can tell they have fun at work and do it with passion. The menu is small but nice. Almost every day there is something special on offer, such as Eggs Benedict. I always enjoy coming to the Alpineum.

44.- for 2 glasses of wine and an aperitif plate with soggy bread: cheese, dried meat, olives of medium quality disguised under a pile of rocket, with a spicy mayo sauce (?) - far too expensive and carelessly thrown in front of the bib, without Toothpick. Lovely cafe outside the beautiful Alpinemuseum. Perfect cappuccino stop after visiting the Lion Monument. Under umbrellas to shield from sun or rain. Street scene to watch too.

Fantastic coffee and desert! While traveling Luzern, I was looking for a good coffee. I didn't expect much since the location was too touristic. It was one of the best coffee I've tried in Europe, though. The barista was super kind and professional. I liked the vibe. I placed the second order. It was pity that I didn't have enough time to try other menu.

Loved the cafe, it’s vibe, and coffee. We had flat white and vanilla croissant- absolutely delicious. Didn’t get same taste coffee anywhere in Lucern or Interlaken. Kudos to helpful, lovely and cheerful staff and their friendly service. The whole cafe has a great vibe and is very welcoming!! Will definitely visit again in my next trip :)

The cocktails were very good. The food from the neighbors looked very tasty, so you should come if you are hungry. It's small but nice - but of course it quickly gets so full that there's no space left. We were lucky and got the last places. I would definitely recommend it.

Service was brief but very friendly. Food (burger or sandwich or something) was fine, but sweet (?!). The place was full, it was cramped and extremely loud, it was almost impossible to have a conversation. Comfortable is different.

I always enjoy coming here. Whether it's pancake Sunday or just a quick coffee in a nice atmosphere, it's worth a visit.

I could not believe this was a smoking bar. I have not experienced this since about 2006, in any country that I have visited or lived in. It is unbelievable it me that in a modern society in 2023 this is not only still legal, but tolerated by business owners.

People can smoke inside, ugh it's not something I want to experience in 2023

Great restaurant, great food, great drinks, great team and great ice cream in summer. The Alpi is simply great and one of our favorite restaurants in Lucerne 🥳. Sometimes it's just a bit loud, so it's a bit difficult to have a conversation.

Easy 5 star review. Fantastic food, drinks, and service. I had the eggs benedict and the hot ginger punch. Bill was €40 (wow!) but the food was some of the best I've had anywhere. The only item available for lunch was the benedict, but that's what I would have ordered anyway. The menu changes every few hours, and also by day.

Very nice and friendly staff, clean and with delicious coffee. You can even smoke there.

Where deliciously prepared food (moules au mariniere with perfectly recommended wine) with a super attentive bar team - and attentive - meets in lucky evening events - completely unique. Any time. All good 😊

Fantastic cocktails! Super nice staff. We had the cocktails "Sama Mate" & "Sama Sour". My friend loved the sour version. Really good if you like sour... i had the mate. One of the best cocktails i ever had. The ginger punch is really good as well.

Great Sunday afternoon place to sit and enjoy some lovely hangover food and some decent coffee. The waitress sending out positive vibes to anyone open for it was a nice experience for a change. This still being CH and all.

I had a great cappuccino and croissant here one morning, and came back the same evening for cocktails. Delicious espresso martini. Plenty of outdoor space.

Absolutely toxic, self-confident male waitress who slams the bill on the table and generally treats and advises in a rather unpleasant manner... unfortunately I can do without it a second time... were here to provide support after the stolen grill was reported. But this gigolo circus thanks...no.

We wanted to have another drink at 1:30 (closing time 2:00). We were sent away and not in a friendly way either.

Looks cool, but they say on their website that they're open until 2am, but they didn't let us in at 1am and unfortunately didn't give us any beer. I'm used to better things from Zurich. Sorry, it's a shame ☹️

Such a great place for AMAZING coffee and an authentic vibe. We went there every single evening for coffee during our stay in Luzern and were never disappointed. Love it 10/10

The hoppy Pale Ale draft beer is excellent, shared by a quiet atmosphere in one of the most beautiful places in Lucerne, namely the lion statue. Friendly staff, very good service.

Worst Mojito ever. I have no clue why it's even on the menu, they clearly don't bother. The foccacia are great, but they never seem to have them available.

Place frequented by tourists and locals. Excellent place to have a coffee, beer and a snack or lunch (although there aren't many options). The service is very good. Clean bathrooms.

Cool place. Filled room and terrace. We have people from Lucerne waiting. The music was a little too loud for my taste (Saturday 4:30 p.m.), so I measured it ;-) 67 dB on average. This is probably due to the low frequencies. We are unanimous in saying that the tea/coffee is excellent. Pleasant and very helpful staff. What more ? To recommend.

Please train your employees. Those who have recovered with a valid certificate do not have to be vaccinated to meet 2G. We left your restaurant speechless and without comment.

Was below my expectations. I would have expected much more in this fantastic location. The food is very, very special and didn't taste good. Attention, pictures online can come from events, these dishes are not normally available. It wasn't just us. PS: the answer is not particularly professional...

No breakfast. Only sell a farmer's platter with liver, offal, lard etc. Not for veggies! Edit: very arrogant and cheeky answer. It's a shame, I would have expected more :-(

Very unfriendly service, we were turned away with a small child when we asked for a table because the waitresses didn't seem to want to serve us. In addition, a waitress even became insulting. Worst experience in a long time - would recommend this bar to anyone.

Great place, serves amazing coffee and food and the espresso martini was the best I have had in a long time. Also the guys and girls working there are lovely!
