Pung Kang Thai Cuisine in Basel

I order by phone. The website says 15.90, the restaurant charges 16.50. When I asked the saleswoman about it she said "website not updated" but she didn't go back on the price. That's enough, no matter how it tastes. Now opened: I was given a completely wrong menu. At least the meat was what we wanted. The food was very good, the portion was medium sized, and my request for Thai spiciness was fulfilled. Almost everything was wrong the first time months ago...

The best Thai food in Gundeli. Very tasty Thai curry whether green or red. Fair prices and a good take away option. Unfortunately, sitting in the restaurant is not possible.

We had a Pad Thai with duck and a Tom Kha (Kokossuppe) with shrimps. The ingredients were fresh and both dishes were very tasty and well served. Even though the Pad Thai could have had a bit more sauce, we would definitely order from them again. Looking forward to trying the other dishes.

I'm very sad that "Pho Siam" had to close, but I'm even more pleased that a Thai with similarly good quality has taken over the place at Güterstrasse 279! The green curry is still my favorite!

Nice service, but the Pad Thai wasn't really good. There are much better ones in Basel (nearby). In addition, the packaging is permeable and all the sauce leaked out.
