Nice terrace. The salad buffet is small but nice. There are often too many people inside for lunch. It's relatively narrow. One of the few "old tea rooms" that still exist in Thun.

I'm only reviewing the outside terrace here, which offers a wonderful view of the Aare and Blümlisalp. The decor inside the coffee/restaurant is very old-fashioned. At Reber you get four lunch menus every day with soup and salad from the buffet as starters, which are extremely good value for money. Everything is freshly prepared and very tasty. Clear recommendation.

Everything was perfect - easy, friendly, good food, great atmosphere - you don't always have to be in the middle of the egg 🙃

Very cozy café with a magnificent outdoor terrace high above the Aare. There is also a pastry shop with delicious offerings in the same building. Very friendly service.

Very pleasant terrace for dining in the sun and enjoying a magnificent view. The value for money is excellent, the staff very kind and welcoming. The dishes are very good and homemade with fresh produce. A gourmet window in the pastry area offers a wide choice of desserts.

I was there for lunch today, a pleasant place I must say. The staff is very friendly, even though the place was full and as soon as anyone left, someone came in straight away. I had a fitness plate, after I finished it, a walk to the Panorama Center was very appropriate. Thank you very much, I left very satisfied. See you next time

Waiting over an hour for the lunch menu? Of course, that doesn't work if only one chef is responsible for 4 lunch menus + a menu. That can't be a good thing. I felt sorry for them but since I had an appointment I had to leave the coffee shop hungry after an hour.

Really delicious and really friendly staff! We ordered 3/4 of the dishes and it was all amazing! I think the menu changes so don’t expect to come back to the same thing :) Note that the Menu not in English so recommended to use google translate! 👍🏻

Atmosphere brings you wy back and that's a good thing. Bakery has great selection and you will find something for every taste. Not a superb bakery but very good. Eating in the tea room is good, but old fashioned. Recommended if you like the way it used to be all over Switzerland a few years back. Would recommend and am a regular customer

Had a maggot in my food, the rooms look old and dusty. Wouldn't go there again.

So the terrace is great if you can sit outside. It's a bit dusty inside and the food didn't blow us away, okay it was 1.5 hours before closing time and so the selection in the bakery was very limited.

Small nice cafe. Located directly on the Aare. Not wheelchair accessible. Beer from Feldschlösschen is also sold. I can highly recommend it. Next door is a pastry shop. I didn't visit these.

According to the menu, most of the meat is from abroad, which is a shame!!!

100% recommended! delicious menu! excellent service! and the best prices! We will always return when we pass by thun! I am Colombian, they gave us a corn soup that transported me to my country! Delicious! Everything was very delicious and the waitress was a very kind lady.

There were three of us including the baby for a late lunch at 3 p.m. Prompt and friendly service. Good Swiss food at reasonable prices. Great view of the Aare and especially an uninterrupted view of the Blümlisalp.

Reber am Plätzli has a very nice terrace with a view of the Aare basin. When the sun shines it gets wonderfully warm there, so you can sit outside without freezing at the end of October.

We arrived with the bicycles from Interlaken and as we arrived, we parked them in the square where the restaurant is accessed. We sat at a table on the terrace next to the Aare River, with beautiful views, the weather was good and it was very pleasant. There was a good value menu, the waitresses were very friendly. For dessert we had a delicious cake and coffee from the restaurant's pastry shop.

Pastry shop and cozy tearoom in the style of old times. Unfortunately, this is rarely found anymore. Employees are friendly and well-positioned. Quality of the products is always good. Price-performance is right. Location classic, homely, beautiful. A favorite place of mine.
