Restaurant Bräma in Davos

We were at the Bräma restaurant on a Saturday evening with a group of 12 people. We got the perfect table for us. Just to the right of the entrance next to the cloakroom. It's a bit tight for 12 people, but we were wonderfully shielded from the other guests and were able to have a good chat. The volume was very pleasant. The card offers something for everyone. Everyone could order whatever he or she wanted. The salad bowls for several people are practical. And there are 3 different sauces to choose from. Pizzas can also be ordered in a small size. But they are still almost as big as the plate... Wishes for improvement: The pizza knives are terribly bad. Be sure to replace it with a good product.

We were in the Bräma restaurant for the first time. The staff was friendly and attentive right up to the main course. After that, no one came to the table. We didn't want dessert, so that was fine with us. The veal cordonbleu and the potato gratin were very fine, but very little vegetables. At 49 francs, it's more on the upper limit. The waiting times were short.

We spent a wonderful evening. The food was simply sensational. Our waiter was very courteous and competent. He also gave us an excellent wine recommendation. The jus with the beef fillet is amazing!

Ate here before an ice hockey match. The staff was informed that we wanted to leave the restaurant early. Despite asking several times, we waited about an hour for the food; other tables that came after us were served before ours. The food was good but it doesn't taste good if it has to be eaten within 10 minutes! There was no apology or commercial gesture...never again for us!

We were in Bräma two days in a row. For the second day we had asked to get the same table as the first day. This was promised to us, when we got there (on time), the table had just been given away and they wanted to place us at a transit table. That was an unfortunate (and not very hospitable) start, especially since the restaurant was almost empty at 6 p.m. The beef fillet was fine, as was the cordon bleu, but surprisingly the pizza capriciosa was quite tasteless. The selection is quite limited - apart from pizzas. The service was very friendly on both days. The ambience depends very much on the place and was rather mediocre the second time.

Unfortunately no recommendation, food too expensive and service not exactly friendly. There is much better in Davos.

I’ve been here already several times and both the pizza as well as the other food is very delicious. The service is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy. I’m already looking forward to returning next year.

It was a really great meal, very, very tasty. I can recommend it to everyone! We had to wait a bit before we could order, but it was also very busy. A tip: reserve in advance. We'd love to come back🥰

We, 2 people, were looking for a restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, but the host, Dusty, did everything possible and organized a table for us after a short wait (approx. 3 minutes). We felt like we were in good hands because of his welcoming and authentic manner. The food (pizza & capuns) was excellent, crispy, fresh ingredients and with that certain something. The pairing with a cool, local blonde and the wine from Italy recommended by Chef de Service and soon-to-be world champion, Felix, also deserves comment. I wish both boys all the best, keep it up and I look forward to next time. Then hopefully Felix in swimming trunks as agreed.

We have been frequent guests of the Bräma restaurant (or its predecessor Hänggi's) for 14 years and have always received very friendly service and very satisfied. Not so last Friday (January 5, 2024) at lunchtime. The waiter Felix treated us so unkindly that we decided to leave the restaurant before ordering. We hope that the behavior of the staff will change soon and we can enjoy visits to Bräma again.

The overall quality of the food was a bit disappointing and the whole experience felt overpriced. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant definitely looks very nice and inviting.

This review has edited since the original posting: Our dining experience with this restaurant group was a journey of highs and lows. Initially, we faced a significant issue at Bräma. Despite making a reservation three months in advance, it was lost, and the manager on duty, Dusty, was unable to accommodate us or offer a satisfactory solution at the time. This was particularly challenging as we had young children with us and were left without a dining option. However, the response from the restaurant group’s management following this incident was commendable. During a later visit to another restaurant within their group, the group manager personally approached us. They extended a heartfelt apology for the inconvenience we had previously encountered. The manager ensured we had a pleasant experience that evening. Their effort to personally address the issue and enhance our dining experience was greatly appreciated. While our initial encounter was disheartening, the proactive and considerate gesture by the group manager demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality. This balanced approach in handling the situation has positively influenced our overall impression of the restaurant group.

Expecting a smooth experience, we booked our December dinner at Bräma in September. Shockingly, our reservation was nowhere to be found in their system, even with call log proof as evidence. The indifferent attitude and lack of assistance from Manager Dusty left our group of nine in a lurch, reflecting poorly on the restaurant's commitment to customer service. Worse ever!!!!

The Bräma restaurant in Davos offers an impressive combination of cozy and modern ambience. The furnishings are tasteful and invite you to linger, making the visit a pleasant experience. Particularly noteworthy is the authentic and courteous service, which impresses with its friendliness and attentiveness. When it came to eating, my expectations were higher due to the positive overall experience. Although the dishes were beautifully presented and the portions were generous, the taste of some of them fell short of expectations. Some dishes were a bit bland or didn't quite correspond to the usual taste experience that one would have expected in such an attractive atmosphere.

Vegi Capuns a bit small for 26Chf, taste ok. Pizza Quattro Formaggio was very tasty. Cappuccino in barista quality, unfortunately without Schöggeli. Service quick. However, it was sometimes difficult to draw attention to yourself. It's probably because there's a lot going on at lunchtime...

We were a large group of 23 people. Even when making the reservation, the staff was very uncomplicated and accommodating. The food was super tasty and fresh and was served quickly. Is a super nice restaurant!

We have eaten with you twice now and have been absolutely thrilled each time. Your pizzas are simply delicious and always freshly prepared. The crisp salads also impressed us every time. But it's not just the food that's great, your service is too. Your staff is so attentive and friendly, it's just fun to be with you. We are really completely satisfied and can only recommend you!

Had dinner at the restaurant today. The service is very friendly and the food is excellent! The best meal we were able to enjoy in Davos so far. Definitely coming back!

An online table reservation cannot be changed or canceled. This can only be regulated by telephone. A bit complicated when the restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and the telephone is therefore not served.

We ate very well here and enjoyed our time. Service and ambience also very great!

Nice welcome, good service and very fine dishes. The creamy wild garlic risotto with asparagus and morels was a dream. It wasn't our first visit. We have never been disappointed.

My husband had the saddle of lamb and the portion size was just ridiculous. They come and cut it at the table and there was so much meat left on the bones that they just took back again. He ended up having about 100/120g for 58.- CHF ?!?? (Sides were potatoes and asparagus). Other wise the restaurant is really beautiful and the food is good.

Friendly. The food is fresh and very fine, but seasoned a bit bland throughout. Outside on the terrace: unfortunately no placemat or tablecloth: - Had fine dust on the table. - Metal table top quickly became hot.

Very good pizza, overpriced salad, snooty and slow service, which is also mainly inflexible and lacks any friendliness. Everything (except the pizza, which remained great) that was so nice in the previous Hängis (warm, perfect and fast service, absolute flexibility with regard to food requests, a seasonally adapted menu, first-class food, etc.) is missing in the "successor" Bräma. I was quite disappointed on the first visit, when the Bräma was still brand new, and unfortunately still just as disappointed on my second visit. So that was the last visit. It's a shame for what was once a favorite restaurant.

Service was nice. The price for the food (pizza) and the wine by the glass is too high.

We recently visited with 3 families and small children and so the reservation was made. Unfortunately, the service was not very attentive and sometimes even unfriendly. Waiting time between starter and main course was over 1 hour. Food was ok! However, we discovered that the restaurant is not very child-friendly. It's actually a shame for such a nice restaurant with a varied menu... and so far always positive experiences.

I strongly advise against this restaurant. Customers are not all treated equally. If you're not Swiss, you'll feel it straight away. I was there 3 times, all 3 times were very disappointing. A table without glass, we have to fight to ask for glasses to drink. I ask for bread, no one brings me bread, I have to get up and ask for bread. However, very unpleasant waiters and too eager to serve us, they give us a very bad welcome. Don't eat there.

Absolutely lovely restaurant with great, fantastic traditional Bündner dishes but also Italian food. The service was absolutely lovely and charming. Highly recommend this place for a romantic evening.

We had a reservation for 8:15 p.m. for 6 people, had to wait 15 minutes for our table, without an apology and without an offer of an aperitif. That was really poorly organized. After that it was just great, very nice service, apologized, aperitif on the house and the food was super delicious. Top Capuns and the Burner Cinghiale Pizza. Greetings Nino

Great Pizza in a wood fired oven! We had pizza margerita with fresh basilicum and pizza davos with spicy salami, peperoni, onions and garlic. You taste it, these thin and crispy crust pizzas are made with traditional Italien craftmanship and freshly prepared ingredients. Highly recommended. Prices from 20 chf, Take away 2 less. Less then 10 minutes walk from station or promenade.
