A very nice location with a great ambience, especially if there is also live music playing on the ground floor. The location is of course ideal, right next to St. Gallen main train station. Our dinner was very tasty and the service was extremely friendly. The beer also tastes great! We'd love to come back.

Hello dear Brauwerk team Thank you for the great evening we had with you! The meeting room that we were given for the extended board of the Hotel & Gastro Union was very well equipped and had very good internet. The food was as we imagined: large portions, crispy fries, delicious vegetables and juicy meat. Likewise the service, we were served courteously and had everything we needed at all times. I'm looking forward to the next visit and I'm sure my colleagues feel the same way. Thanks again to: Loli, Jasmin, Felix, Patrick and the entire kitchen team!

Our company aperitif yesterday in the Brauwerk's Braustübli was great. The Brauerplättli is highly recommended. The service staff was attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back.

Perfect place to sit together as a team for a drink and a snack after work. Can be reserved at short notice and easily. The small delicacies are seasonal and there is something for every taste. We will be back.

Over time it became a bit wintry cold, but the fine music paired with heartwarming service almost made us forget the draft ;-)

Attentive and well-positioned staff. The food has something for every taste and is served and prepared with warmth. Jassen, after-work beer or even experience live concerts, it's varied, also when it comes to the types of beer. Great👌

It's a shame that you have to wait forever for the beer. A no-go for a brewery. Food very fine. My recommendation: when a beer is brought, order the next one immediately.

The brewery is a rustic restaurant right next to St. Gallen train station. The welcome was friendly, you have to like the rustic decor or not. When I visited there was live music, which is also a matter of choice. When guests smoke in the entrance area and the door is open, not only cold but also smoke draws into the restaurant. There is a large selection of beer specialties, when I was a guest it was Cordon Bleu week, with several different Cordon Bleu on offer. The filling of my cordon bleu was fine, but the quality of the meat was a bit too tough for me. The homemade salad dressing was very tasty. Despite the fact that there were many guests, the service was prompt and friendly.

Was there completely by chance. But I would always go there again when I'm in St. Gallen. Got the beer recommendation “7 Sisters”; fine light beer - exactly my taste! Then I treated myself to a crispy fried chicken - also highly recommended. The price is right - and I think appropriate for the city of St.Gallen. Last but not least the staff: attentive, friendly and provide good advice. I just ask myself one thing: why are there so few women here? Just because of the beer?🤭🤭🤭

We had a lovely evening. The service was very friendly and the price-performance ratio was right. The food (we had ribs, venison and burgers, among other things) tasted good and was beautifully prepared. We can recommend the Brauwerk and will come back.

As a group we were able to enjoy a great aperitif with attentive service in the Pärkli. Afterwards, we were able to end the day in the restaurant with a great atmosphere and food. A lovely evening with friendly staff. Great👍

The food was great, as was the service, the ambience could be a bit more homey, it had more of the character of a snack bar. The repetition factor is therefore rather low (5 out of 10).

Before work I wanted to have lunch outside. The brewery is right next to the train station and parking garage. Even though the tables were full, I got a seat. The order was taken within a short time and served quickly. Very friendly and attentive staff. The salmon burger was very tasty and the sweet potato fries were a hit. The only downside: the sauce was very salty. Price/performance okay.

The white sausage with pretzel and mustard, as well as the freshly tapped beer were excellent. It would be nice if there were more comfortable chairs to relax in the beer garden.

The brewery deserves one star, but I wouldn't have given a star for the atmosphere. We waited ages for our food and the drinks were forgotten. We had to keep reminding the waitress of our orders. Of everything we ordered, the schnitzel, the Maultaschen and the salad tasted good. Since we waited ages for the side dish, the schnitzel we got in advance was cold. The cheese spaetzle tasted like cardboard, the fries were unsalted and the steak resembled the sole of a shoe. We had the steak returned and got the second shoe sole. (well-done)

Had reserved an aperitif for 10 people. The confirmation came very quickly by email that you would provide us with standing room. Unfortunately the space wasn't optimal and we were asked by the service staff to make room so that they could serve. When we offered to change seats, this was received grumpily and it was clear that the additional effort to move the tables had not been taken into account. The customer should be king. If there is a reservation for 10 people, you should be a little accommodating.

First good experience, the waiters welcomed us and found us space even though the place was full and there were 12 of us. Second very disappointing experience, the person serving us seemed annoyed and did not know how to explain the characteristics of their beers (even though it is a brewery...). To make matters worse, when one of us preferred not to order anything, this earned a rude comment that it wasn't happening (even though the place was empty).

Olma bratwurst only fried on one side (salamander?) Onion sauce cost extra, 4 francs, the money wasn't nearly worth it, jus wasn't homemade, Haco, Hügli...Vegetables had been peeled days before cooking, what was on the plate Didn't correspond to the information on the menu, fried chicken was far from what it was supposed to be, portions were very small, but salad and dressing were good. Service tried to seem cool, but was simply snobby and incompetent. Riebelmais could not be explained professionally. Reference to the original dish, Ribel, beyond the knowledge of the waiters.

We were in the brewery with a group of 35 people. The reservation in advance was friendly and I always received quick feedback. The food was great (at Chübel, 69 per person) and the service was very friendly and attentive. Great stay!

Brauwerk has a huge selection of beer and the atmosphere is more like in a pub. The food was fine. They have a lot of meat options but also some nice vegetarian dishes.

I live next door and go there often. Best beer of st fallen. Nice selection, and nice service . All the waitresses are nice there which is rare, a gem in st gallen!!!

Very nice, flexible and prompt service, brewery groove with a corresponding menu offering, excellent beer, market-fresh starter salad and sausage with potato salad. and the espresso like the Italian one. compliments, again at any time!

We stumbled into the Schützengarten brewery by chance. Nice decor, friendly staff and of course… delicious beer. We tried through the portfolio with the tasting board. The 6 varieties were good.

Absolutely recommended. The home-brewed beer is excellent, especially the pale ale. The food is good, the service attentive. I was there once with a small group and once we were there as a group of around 40 people, everything went well. The food was brought in the largest portions, so you could help yourself at the table and eat as quickly and as much as you wanted . The fries are extremely good. I can only recommend the ribs.

"A house beer, freshly brewed, or a glass of wine?" Be it the atmosphere, the diverse beer selection or the attentive staff (which is no longer a given in today's gastronomy), everything was extremely satisfactory to us. The “Beiz” invites you to linger, there is a relaxed atmosphere and this on a Saturday evening. Chapeau bas! We'd love to come back, even if just for a beer :)

Cool location right next to St. Gallen train station. Various Schützengarten beers and tasty dishes such as white sausages, minced meat and croissants. Reservation is an advantage as it is always well attended!

Extremely friendly guest relations staff. The food was supppppper... The carrot soup with vanilla was simply delicious and the menu was so imaginative and also simply delicious and very beautifully presented. We'll definitely go again

Very successful brewery restaurant. A good mix of modern design and yet a lot of comfort. In addition to Schützengarten's own brands, there are some special beers. Food, drink and service absolutely top. Always worth a visit due to the optimal location at the train station.

There were six of us eating there and we were hoping for more based on the positive reviews. Top: - Location: Close to the train station and nice furnishing style - pleasant atmosphere Flop: - Price/performance ratio: Spare ribs were rather average and lightly seasoned (salt and pepper are missing on the tables). Too expensive for 34 francs. Fries were good. Beef tartare as a starter was bitter and too bland for the price. - Service: Service was really disappointing. The service was demotivated, inattentive, direct and unfriendly. You can definitely expect more from a restaurant in this price range. Some examples: 1. Drinks cleared that still had content. 2. When clearing up, the waitress emptied the oily side dish from the spare ribs and wiped it up with the guests' napkin and distributed it all over the table. We expected that the table would be cleaned afterwards. However, it was only cleaned 10 minutes later at our request with a snarky comment (the table was still very greasy afterwards). 3. Service was on first name terms with us from the start. Basically no problem if this is done in a friendly manner. However, it was used in a flippant way. Conclusion: - Restaurant has potential with location and ambience. - Food was ok, rather average for the price - Service definitely needs to be better. The visit was an experience worth having, but not worth repeating under these circumstances.

I was there with my fellow students and despite being a larger group we had a table straight away. The view of the brewery is super interesting and gives the whole thing something unique. The service was friendly and quick, the beer was delicious, all in all great 👍🏻

The three of us had lunch there. The hit of the week was veal goulash, unfortunately it wasn't goulash but simple veal pre-eaten. Meat wasn't cooked long enough, so it was tough and completely bland. If you can't do it, you shouldn't do it anymore. Schupfnudeln were not fried at all on one side but were black on the other side. Daily special was ok. Bratwurst and fries also good.

Pleasant brewery with friendly and attentive service. Diverse beer selection and good, but very meat-heavy food. Kind of exactly what you would expect from a brewery restaurant.

Sehr fein, gutes Bier, leckeres Salat. Even when the kitchen is closed, they will whip up something and serve it with a smile.

I'm at the brewery every now and then at lunchtime. The food is very good and the quality is at a high level. I always look forward to the selection of house beers. The interior of the restaurant is atmospheric. The staff is always very motivated and friendly.

For three years now and at least once a quarter I have had a business meal/lunch at the Brauwerk. Both the food and the varied weekly menus plus the service are simply top and I would highly recommend it. The portions are very generous.

Nice bar/restaurant with a slight industrial style, which I really like. You can find the entire range of Schützengarten beers + Bocks and related craft beer varieties. The food is great and the price is absolutely great. If you want to stop by in the evening you should still make a reservation. It's always full here. 👍

Ambiance and the quality of the products are good. Employees were not very friendly and were in a bad mood. I find it a disgrace that you have to pay 3.- for a cup of salt nuts when you consume over 100.- for drinks.

Super pleasant atmosphere for dinner but also for a relaxed beer after work. The different types of home-brewed beer invite you to discover and the delicious Dinnelen are also highly recommended.

Beer, meat and croissants were very tasty. It was too crowded for me and therefore very loud. The service was fair.

I go a lot, especially at the end of the day. The specialty beers are fantastic. Atmosphere is reminiscent of a Bavarian tavern, only the service is much nicer and accommodating.

We sat outside for about 10 minutes, the staff came out briefly, cleared another table, showed that we were there, no one was interested, left, what a shame.

It was me who ordered the tap water but I also drank more beer than water that night. There was one round where I asked for water, but not a beer, while a few rounds before I ordered only beer. The statement, that there were guests who were only ordering water is simply wrong. [/EDIT] I would love to give Brauwerk a better review, because the place itself is nice, the staff is friendly, the beer is good, so is the food, however, the fact that they refused to get us an additional glas of tap water (at this moment, we have had less tap water then other drinks), even tough we had a three digit bill with food and drinks, is simply not acceptable. If we would have only ordered tap water, I would understand it, but not in our case.

Something to note if you can’t dine in: was told by our server that this restaurant does not do take away, despite this option being listed on Google. The option to eat outside was also not presented. Service was extremely unfriendly.

This place has very delicious food and good beer. But be careful, because the portions are huge. I had dinner here with one other person and we both ordered a appetizer each, which was a mistake, because we couldn't finish our main courses after that. The service here is also very good.
