We always enjoy our fondue here. Consistently good. Service depends on who you get and sometimes you feel forgotten about. Beautiful surroundings especially nice when we have family or friends visiting.

Brasserie restaurant in the old town of Geneva. Historic venue with nice atmosphere and internal rooms. Recommended fondue with pressure glass. Prices understandably high given the context but overall money well spent

The continuous screaming of the couple who seem to own the restaurant was distracting and disturbing. I think it even gave me a bad night’s sleep!

The welcome is friendly... The menu is perfect with Genevan culinary specialties and a beautiful list of Swiss wines from the canton... The food is excellent (perch fillets with lemon butter sauce) service (white shirt, bow tie) impeccable.... It's worth the detour, for digestion, a short stroll through the streets of old Geneva full of stories

Great place for a good fondue! Excellent ! Very good service with a choice on the menu. Small downside: it is difficult to park on the street to access the restaurant and when there are people the restaurant is very noisy.

We came for dinner with for dinner. Fondu was tasty, Geneva Special Burger was good and Creme Brulee served in a mesmerizing way! Staff were friendly and responsive.

I had the typical classic fondue, it was very tasty, I liked it. The price is for the classic 26 CHF per person. Dessert is also good, homemade but too small for me.

We thought a million times about what price would be appropriate and reasonable to eat a good 🫕, we finally decided on this place. Success! The waiters are lovely, the place is charming and the food is great. Pay attention to the decoration, it's like a museum!

An excellent dinner with a great old town ambiance - both inside as well as their terrace. The staff all speak English and are helpful and they have translated menu's as well. It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance for their peak hours. Highly recommend the cheese fondue and veal with rosti.

Nice spot in old town with outdoor seating and history. I like to take friends here who are new to Geneva to get a unique experience and good food Dined here several times over the past 12 years and it does not disappoint. I love sitting outside and absorbing the atmosphere and history around the restaurant. Cobbled streets, government buildings, and energetic people. Fondue is as good as one would expect in Switzerland. That means it's great ( it's the only thing I've had when visiting Hotel de Ville, aside from when stopping just for drinks). Wine list focuses on local wines which I appreciate. Service is always helpful and with the assortment of locals and tourists the staff is always friendly and supportive.

Amazing cheeseburger & service.

Location is the best, in the heart of the old town where you can both eat and enjoy the vibe. Food was average, the fondue was a bit disappointed as I feels very watery, bread was either too hard or too soft like they dip the hard one in the water. Service is nice and ok but when it gets crowded we need to wait 15mins for the bill.

Best foundu cheese in Geneva 🇨🇭

The "Soupe à l'ougnion gratinée" was delicious. Superb, the French would say. The special Escargots.

We had a cappuccino and a pastis around 11 a.m. then came back to eat around 1 p.m. The 《Burger with cheese》were great: sauce and lettuce included. The servers were friendly and friendly. It might be a little expensive but it was still crowded. We paid 98CHF for 3 burgers (with fries), a 30cl draft beer, a Sprite, and a glass (10dl) of rosé wine.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the old quarter of Geneva. Contact with the servers can seem a little cold and the service is slow at the end of the meal. We had the daily menu at 10 p.m. consisting of a small starter of raw vegetables and a main course with steak, fries and grilled vegetables. The quality/price ratio was excellent. But the cooking remains simple for this price. It's a place to eat without breaking the bank in Geneva if you stick to the daily menu!

Horrible service! Food is just ok, a clear tourist trap and they are proud of it! It is unfortunate as the restaurant location is perfect and the younger staff seemed having a better attitude 😉 I will definitely NOT come back or advise this restaurant for anyone. Their fondue is delicious, and I order it from them without alcohol

The worse service I ever experienced. First they wanted me to sit in narrow corner as a handicap person I couldn’t. I asked to sit outside side and they said but waited over 30 minutes and the people who sat after us were eagerly waited on and served. The waiters were rude and jerks. I am a visitor to the lovely city of Neuchâtel but urge other visitors to avoid this restaurant.

The “Swiss” burger has become my favorite in the world! Delicious!

The son Glôzu took over from his father, an old establishment in the old town of Geneva, ideally located. Eating there also means sharing a piece of Swiss history. The food is very good, the service is friendly, it's fresh and fragrant. The sausage of the day was exceptional (well spicy). A must therefore. We will regret the price a little but it's a bit like making this criticism of the restaurants on Place du Tertre... ;)

Food is generally fine. Cheese fondue is rather average though. The service is definitely lackluster, dragging down the whole dinner experience. The wait service was long, we were ignored by the lady waiter for long while who seemingly prefer to chat with the local guests than serving the visitors. Half way during our food order she left without any explanation and never came back... Price is definitely on the high side, considering the above.

Stumbled on a whim as originally had hopes to go to Papon but had no reservations for lunch. Lovely kid friendly resto with several pub style options. Kids had nuggets and tried the fondue!

We spent an excellent evening in the company of our suppliers. There are internal rooms where it is possible to dine in total tranquility, secluded. As for the dishes offered, they are very original and cooked with taste and professionalism. I recommend the lamb shank or if you like cheese, don't miss the fondue, a typical dish of this restaurant

Went there at about 4-5 pm which was not a rush hour. Many tables there were empty and we asked to be seated. Old waiter yelled at us that it is full and we could only get a drink. It was so rude, not saying sorry or being at least friendly. We were shocked and right after we left older couple went in and were seated immediately.. Which to me seams like you assume young couple would not spend as much as older people? Too bad. We went to restaurant next door where they were really friendly! :)

The vegan lasagna, well I will say that it was not delicious at all, I couldn't eat it and it's a shame I didn't eat all day and I was really hoping to have a good lasagna for dinner. I don't recommend the place's vegan lasagna.

I went to try the fondue, after a lot of research about good places in Geneva. I confess that the place leaves a lot to be desired, but it is a traditional restaurant, it is part of the experience. I ate the traditional fondue and it's wonderful, at the end they even remove the cheese that remains at the bottom of the pan, the best part!!

31.12 2022 Lunch, Prices are increasing and quality is decreasing and what's more, it's almost cold, too bad! Father Glozu comes back! On the other hand, quality service, that hasn't changed! Love the fondue. We ordered the mushroom and bacon set for 2 and it comes with a side of potatoes and bread the usual for swiss fondue set. A simple yet delicious meal, with the cheese not overly salty or overwhelming. And this is coming from a non-cheese lover. We came by a weekday lunch hour after xmas week and was almost turned away due to no reservation, luckily the outside tables cleared in time. So please call a few days ahead for appointment as it seemed really popular. Btw the kids fish meal is really tasty too.

Quite typical place. Original decoration. Very pleasant setting with good cuisine. On the other hand, you can only get there on foot...pedestrian streets...

Added extras to the bill that we did not ask for and did not explain corrected what was included in the fondue. €26 for one pot of cheese. The bits to dip in were €25 extra. Ridiculous. Robbery.

It’s a topical restaurant in Geneve. It’s in old Town and here you really feel like in another time or time stoped here. I love the Interieur and the spirit here. Service is very relaxed. The food is really nice. If you want a typical night and food and old town energy come here.

Place in the center with exquisite food, the fondue was delicious, but it is enough to order one for two, it would have been nice if they had let us know the quantity, since we couldn't handle everything. The bread is included and is delicious. The potatoes are small, but delicious. The waitress's attention was very good, we would return.

Wonderful meal! The Salade Genevoise tasted light and flavorful. The Gaspacho tasted great...as did the Filet de Perches au Beurre Citroné. Service was efficient, pleasant, but not overbearing...just what you'd expect at a Swiss brasserie. The restaurant sits on a quiet street, with no motorized traffic after the work day ends. So it is a quiet place to rest and enjoy a good meal.
