Very warm and very attentive staff

The restaurant was okay but the smell inside the restaurant was very strong and in my opinion bad. The price of the food is avarage and the fondue was very salty. It was our first time trying the fondue and we didn’t expect it to taste that bad.

They made us wait for 30min for a table that was given to a group of teenagers

The food (venison) and the side dishes were okay. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a well-kept and wooden ambience.

13 points at Gault&Millau are very optimistic. The kitchen is solid and good, but in my opinion not anymore. The wine list is top-class. Unfortunately a no-go: fondue (xpeople!) is served in the same (rather narrow room)! It has to stink... inevitably!

July 30, 2023 the lunch had a troisieme age option that was the best tournedos I have ever eaten. A senior like me does not always want a huge meal especially while travelling and this meal was not just the right size, it was delicious. Eating outside was pleasant too.

One of the best rosti I had in swiss. Everything was delicious down to the bacon. Tomato pasta was good too. Note that they don't seem to encourage sharing. An additional set of cutleries will set you back by 5chf.

Very few places on the terrace, a shame because it's one of the only ones with a little sun! Friendly service, with a baby and a dog. Brought some water for the dog and a high chair for the baby!

Middle age women was very unprofessional, impolite. Was clearly not happy that we did not order full dinner with desserts, made us feel unwelcome, when asked about the drinks, she just said to look in the menu. She barely blurred goodbye while chewing bread! we were very unhappily surprised.

We had gone to this restaurant in a hurry and had asked the waitress we have only 15mins of time and if she can get us the fondue quickly. She assured us it will be very quick and asked us to sit. (We had ordered the food even before sitting on the table). However, she didn’t put any effort to get the food quickly, she served us the food when we had 7mins left. Talking about the food, we just had fondue, and that fondue was very salty, kind of non edible. But we had to eat it because that was our last meal before we boarded our train. So we ended up paying 52 euros for the food which was not edible and we had to finish in 7mins!

Great restaurant with excellent cuisine and loving, experienced and competent service staff. Keep it up and see you soon. Furthermore, it is admirable how Clà (restaurant manager) carries himself in his position. A lot of respect and hats off to him.

Normal tricks, and if you want to ask him for advice, leave the steak well dome and just take bread with chicken.

The hamburger is not worth the money. Dry meat, gamey salad and run-of-the-mill fries. Homemade ketchup and bun were good. The fruit cake is excellent. The service left a lot to be desired.

Fondue not the best but no problem because we were there to share a good time with friends. A waitress of a certain age with a pronounced accent was very unpleasant and very unprofessional. Damage.

I visited it twice because it is affiliated with the hotel. The service is excellent, especially the lady who cooperated with us and told us that the fondue contains alcohol and helped us choose dishes that are free of alcohol and pork. They have delicious beef burgers, the red spaghetti is delicious. Notice the presence of flies in the restaurant.

Very friendly staff which is hard to find in Gstaad, I personally loved them. Very nice and simple food. And cozy space. ❤️

This restaurant was an incredible surprise... you know you will eat well the moment you smell the excellently cooked grilled meat, excellent quality meat tartare and perfectly seasoned by Marco, one of the exceptional waiters. The maître d' and all the staff were impeccable. Relaxing and pleasant environment at every moment of dinner. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

Solid cuisine, not very spectacular but cooked very skilfully and down-to-earth - fits very well into the rustic Bernese Oberland ambience. Service was quick and pleasant, waiting time was fair. Good address in Gstaad for a hearty good meal.

Best value for money restaurant in Gstaad! Very nice traditional atmosphere and spotless service. Try the Entrecôte flambé and the veal cordon blue. The salads portions are really big.

Nothing crazy and yet very expensive 38CHF for a few pieces of cold meats... some 5* are cheaper...
