Service: Abdul (sp?) was spectacular. He spoke good English, especially being from Saudi Arabia. This was great for us, since we live in USA and only speak english. In addition, he was so nice, and so humble. He was able to answer any of our questions about the menu. They got quite busy for a Tuesday and only had a couple waiters staffed, and even then, Abdul still did a great job. 👍 to you, Sir. We wish you the best. Food: We don't have much to compare it to, but we thought the food was excellent. The food had great flavor and exceeded our expectations. The meat I had was so tender and the portions were just right. Atmosphere: We sat outside on a beautiful night and loved overlooking Lake Brienz. Lighting was good and the flowers added to the beauty of the view.

Great food with an amazing view of the lake! You’d think that a restaurant serving that many cuisines would be mediocre at best, however we ordered the fondue, lasagna and butter chicken with naan and all of them tasted amazing!! Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with great ambiance. Abdul and Simran were great and had wonderful customer service!

First of all, beautiful view! On the menu are various Swiss, Indian, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, so something for everyone. We enjoyed our dinner, food and service both were good to excellent.

There are many choices of food with Indian cuisine, Thai, Vietnam and China style, and Switzerland also. I highly recommend this restaurant when you cross by Brienz or are looking for good food and amazing lake view.

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Lindenblüte Restaurant and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The culinary delights we enjoyed were simply fantastic. We ordered both the delicious Salmon and the flavorful Butter Chicken, and each dish was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. However, what really stood out was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs, and their responsiveness deserves the highest praise. Not only were they friendly and welcoming, but their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our preferences made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. While sitting on the terrace, we were rewarded with a breathtaking and picturesque view that added a magical touch to the entire evening. The ambience was enchanting and created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy our meal and create lasting memories. Overall, I can't praise Lindenblüte Restaurant enough. From the delicious cuisine to the outstanding service to the breathtaking views, this place has it all. I give it an unreserved 10 out of 10 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious dining experience.

We celebrated my birthday. We were there with 8 people. We all ate very well (different menus) and everyone enjoyed it. The service was friendly and the ambience was nice. We would love to come back 😊

Starter: Tomato soup - soup from the bag, recognized by its typical taste and the undissolved pieces of powder. Definitely a NO GO! Main course: Zurich Geschnetzeltes - it was clear that the restaurant also offered Asian cuisine - the meat dish looked like Sichuan only with a different sauce... To flee. Server not friendly. Ordered for aperitif 2dl of beer received 3dl. We ordered 3dl of wine for the meal and the waiter came with 5dl which we refused. Sliced ​​pork (half board menu) very fatty and not good. Vegetables and correct food. We will never go again.

You won't get very far here with German. The service in the restaurant is really very bad! This means that the wine glasses are filled way too much, just like with water. There is no break between menus and the next plate is seamlessly in front of you. We like to drink the wine and then the dessert, there is no break here. We (a group of 14 people with children) were not served after ordering. People all around were already eating and we hadn't even received our starters yet. There wasn't even bread and water anymore. We ordered and left the restaurant in protest and very hungry. A huge mess - never again...

The food is very good, but that doesn't make up for the incredibly poor service. If you reserve a table at 8 p.m., you expect to be able to finish eating and drinking comfortably. However, everything starts to be cleared away at 9 p.m. until the waiters go home at 9:30 p.m. and two more people wait in the kitchen until the last two guests finally leave. Just like in the hotel, hardly anyone here really speaks German or Swiss German. Communication is sometimes really difficult. I definitely do not recommend this.
