Restaurant Mythos in Zürich

The rise of competition has also upgraded the quality in this restaurant! We ate very well, everything was very tasty and the portions were decent and of good quality, as well as the side dishes tasty and freshly made!

We had the plate for 2 people. Really sufficient and tastes great. Price - performance - top. Employees very accommodating and nice.

Well done to the children after the food and the atmosphere they offered us nomiza in any moment that we are Greece

Very good food. Simple but tasty!

The food was average but not seasoned enough. The glass for ice tea looked horribly untidy and the biggest mistake was to order Baklava. It felt like eating walnuts dipped in sugar syrup only. Extremely sweet.

So greek. Is the first time I felt I have a completely greek souvlaki. The original. Bravo guys... you are just amazing!!

Mythos has been a pleasant discovery but I didn't find the gyros plates to be particularly savory or well seasoned. It wasn't bad, though not super impressed

I've been here a few times but this time I have to express my disappointment. Fries & halloumi had exactly the same taste, tomatoes were totally bland. If you order sauce you wait at least 10'. A real shame.

We were in the mood for good gyros and tried Mythos in Zurich. The service was nice, professional and quick. The starter was delicious, unfortunately no bread was served to absorb the sut. The Gyros Pita we ordered were mediocre, the fries were cold and the meat was a little tough. The sanitary facilities were relatively modern, but unfortunately very dirty. Next time we would try a different one. We paid around 55 francs for two drinks.

We ordered the meat platter for two and were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the gyros, souvlaki and tzatziki, but the rest was also good and the portion was also generous. The waiting time was short and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Price performance for ZH City is top, absolutely recommended if you want good Greek food!

This is a awesome place with amazing service and absolutely superb food.

Very happy with the flavors and textures of the Mythos, the "small" dishes are a normal portion and do not differ much from the "normal" dishes

Good souvlaki in decent prices for Swiss standards. There was a mistake with our order but the waitress Kostas smartly managed to switch the mood!

I was there on Monday evening around 8:30 p.m. The male service worker was very friendly and there was nothing going on in the store. Normally I would consider the emptiness a bad indicator, but I was extremely hungry and thirsty so I stayed. I ended up ordering a “normal” gyro plate and a large turbine brew. Food and beer were there in no time (but I would have expected that in an empty shop). The gyro plate tasted really, really tasty. Meat not too dry and not too raw. The fries may be slightly oversalted, but that is always very individual. Tzatziki was excellent. All in all, I can highly recommend the Mythos restaurant and would come back. €34 is standard in Zurich and shouldn't surprise anyone.

Mythos is my number one spot in Zürich to bring friends in! Delicious Greek and mediterranean cuisine, fresh beer and Greek desserts, all for a fair price in a central location in Zürich. What else could one want?

Restaurant in itself was very good, but I ordered the Bifteki menu to take home last night, the meat had a strange, crumbly taste, so unfortunately I was only able to eat half of it. This then followed later in the evening with stomach pain… So unfortunately not recommended.

Well, quite ok Addendum: Sorry guys, the gyros are really bad... everything used to be really tasty. I can't remember ever eating such a nasty gyro here or in Greece. Nothing crispy, mushy texture and a level of spice that just overwhelms everything. Friendly service, but I don't come for the service... I also find it unpleasantly loud in the restaurant and I almost can't understand my own words anymore. It's a shame, it's a real shame, the food used to be really good - fast food or not.

Top food, but the waitresses are a disaster!!!! I understand that you have a bit..... of Greek composure.....but that.....bad......zero reaction to the customer !!!Preferably according to the motto....please go again!!!!!

Visited for the first time while visiting Zurich. Very tasty greek food. Got a mixed grill plater and few appetizers. The food was fresh and very tasty. Had greek beer, too. Casual, no-frills atmosphere. Would come back for sure.

30 minute wait for a suvlaki pita meal if the restaurant is empty. I was the only guest. No apology from the staff, I had to take my menu with me to go back to work.

Pita in different variations. Gyros Pita was delicious, the mustard is a matter of taste... in hindsight I would have preferred without it. Price wise quite ok for Zurich. In terms of size, the pita may look a bit small at first, but you'll be quite full at the end. The atmosphere could be a little more "Greek". Unfortunately, a few decorative items alone are not enough. All in all, recommended, even with children.

High level Greek restaurant, catapults you into the alleys of Rhodes. Amazing sauce and chicken. All the staff are female and they are all friendly and nice. I would happily return any day.. Very good

We were here on a Friday at 6 p.m. and just got a table. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was very accommodating. Unfortunately the food tasted very bland. I'm still wondering what you can do wrong with tzatziki. I don't normally add seasoning to meat, but I had to drown the bifteki in ketchup to make it tasty. Really a shame.

On a beautiful Friday evening we went for a walk with our 18 month old daughter. After a while we felt hungry and wanted to go out to eat in Mythos with our little daughter, who had already had fries and chicken nugets from another provider. Unfortunately, our 18 month old daughter was FORBIDDEN from eating the fries and chicken nuggets. After we politely told the waiter that this was for our little one and that we were eating in the restaurant, he forbade us again. We find it a disgrace that our little one was no longer allowed to consume the approx. 5 fries and maybe 1-2 chicken nuggets. After this statement, we left the restaurant and went to eat momos at Tenz, who had no problem with it. Dear Mythos Restaurant, that is no customer service, an impudence and disrespect towards an 18 month old child. How can you be so inflexible and heartless. Please train your employees or change your concept if the employee acted according to your rules. We will certainly avoid the restaurant and look for another Greek restaurant.

Very friendly staff who work quickly. Even if the restaurant is full, you can usually still find a seat and if not, the waiting times are short until you can sit down. The starter plate has to be every time, a little bit of everything in good quality.

The food was a 10 out of 10, extremely tasty and a good portion to fill a muscle colossus like me. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star due to the ambience. Unfortunately, the tables outside were not aligned for optimal consumption of these delicacies and were at an angle, so I made it my main task to hold onto plates to avoid a catastrophe. Otherwise great service.

We ordered a take away and the experience was very smooth, waiting time was only 10 minutes and our food was so delicious, I had been told it was a good restaurant and I’m glad we have it a try. Indeed we will come back and this time to experience the dine in experience.

I’m a traveler that only knows English. I personally thought the food was pretty good for what it was. I got the impression they wanted me to leave immediately though. I ordered a beer and everything was in a bag. The body language to me was they wanted me gone. I think there is a “slight” possibility I’m misunderstanding cultural differences or some form of miscommunication happened, but no other place I went to that happened. I would give it a “1”, because I found it pretty off putting, if it weren’t for that possibility and the food was decent. I get dealing with only English is annoying. I just found it disappointing that I didn’t feel comfortable chilling at the restaurant and felt rushed out.

Lunch GYROS with pork from a rotisserie, served with French fries, onions, tzatziki and pita bread very tasty, waiting time after 1:00 p.m. of 20 minutes was tough, otherwise great.

Easy going place with lots of options! I could gather that the owner and some of the waitress are from Greece, so it gave me some confidence. Also, there were 4 clients from Greece who didn't speak any German or English and they seemed satisfied :) I can recommend the pork, but you can order a dish with halfs, so I got half pork and half chicken.
