Is temporarily closed but still accepting orders on uber eats. This feels like a scam!

i am so sad that it closed it was my favorite restaurant in basel pls come back

Order via UberEats was not received and the restaurant was not reachable, even though I tried to call several times. We had to get something else to eat at short notice. Delays have happened many times and we were about to get something somewhere else, but at least the restaurant was reachable or the driver called us, but this time nothing at all, neither food nor a restaurant that could be reached by phone. However, the payment was debited. That means we have even more trouble because we now have to worry about getting the money back. We will never order there again.

A hidden gem in Basel! 🤩 Just in reach of the Messeplatz the restaurant is well located but not obvious from the outside. Good prices and great food 👌🏼 Can really recommend since it's not crowded at all!

Very rich and abundant food. Super nice service and very easy to communicate with them in English. 100% recommendable!

The food is very very tasty... Fine and very tasty... In the case of curry, the meat portion is quite small but the rice portion is huge... But otherwise really great... We would be happy to come back for our next visit to Basel... P.S. Guests who don't have time in the evening should dine elsewhere... Good dishes also take time...

Nua gyoza was delicious but portion is small. Teriyaki don was a lil too salty.

Not authentic Japanese! I have lived in Japan for 4 years hence I know authentic Japanese. We asked for regular water. The server charged us 12CHF despite giving us water in a open carafe not in a bottle and said regular water means bottled water hence the charge…really!! Knowing she was lying and we know it, she offered to take off the charge but I paid for it and said this will be my Google review so others are not cheated. I donot recommend this place! Dishonesty for CHF 12 deserves to be pointed out and I cannot trust what else they may be doing in the kitchen. There were only two other table occupied so clearly it is not a popular place at dinner time even when a big convention was going on a few steps away.

Delicious food and great service! Just two remarks: the restaurant is too dark and the choice of dumplings is quite limited (just the starters). This is a pity as the name of the restaurant arises some expectations.

I ordered a take out when visiting the area. I walked in to order, service was friendly, helpful, and bilingual (English speaking too). I sat while waiting for the order and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Vegan gyoza (2) with red curry sauce, and ramen with planted chicken pictured. All delicious!

I ordered, it was massively late and the phone wasn't picked up on the second call... A pity...

Super good vegan options (boa bun, ramen, ...) for a reasonable price (20-30CHF). The dishes were nicely served.

This place was so good! Got chicken gyozas, beef roll, and pandan chicken. The service was fantastic, the waiter was so so nice! The atmosphere and music is great too, very relaxing. Prices are reasonable, and presentation of food is great! (see picture attached). Would definitely recommend

Honestly, the best Asian food in Basel. I order online and it always comes the same superb dish as if you order it in the restaurant. The presentation is on point, the flavors even better. They deserve every star here. Food in Basel became quite disappointing lately especially in Asian restaurants, but this one never disappoints. The service is also wonderful and super nice. Today for example while I was waiting my uber order that I picked up, the server gave me a matcha lemonade so I drink something while I wait. Honestly this is my HAPPY PLACE!!

Unique restaurant! If you are looking for a place that exudes peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. The service made us feel welcome and gave us good advice on our choice of food. The food itself was absolutely fantastic! Clear recommendation! We are looking forward to the next time!

An amazing new discovery that I will revisit for sure. The ambient was very relaxing, food delicious, and the staff very friendly and inviting. Samuel was an amazing host, made our evening very enjoyable and even made us laugh and taught us a bit about Japanese culture! Definitely come here if you haven’t already 👌🏼👌🏼

An inconspicuous restaurant with a small but fine menu and very friendly service. We enjoyed the food very much and was beautifully presented. As we all know, the eye eats with us. The prices are absolutely fair!

As a client who unfortunately cannot eat fibre and vegetables a dumpling / noodle restaurant seemed ideal.When politely requested that the vegetables were put to the side it was ignored.The owner came and lectured on the health benefits of vegetables and certainly took no care of his clients restricted diet. After agreeing to have rice replaced with plain noodles we didn't expect to be charged a substantial amount for the substitution.All in all an unpleasant experience and I certainly cannot recommend this restaurant at all.The meals were not value and the service unpleasant.

Located near the city center of Basel Switzerland, Nua is not your typical Asian dumpling shop. As a starter, the presentation of the Holapa Bun was pretty amazing and savory flavor made it all worth it. I say check it out.

Very homely. Food super yummy, very friendly service. Try the Onagi (eel) Don and Char Siu Ramen. We came here 4 times in a row for dinner. Have tried 2 other restaurants. This is the most authentic for Japanese/ Chinese food. Will definitely Co.e back here. Thanks for the nice experience!

The starters were very tasty, the main courses didn't quite live up to our expectations, we would have liked the dishes to be a little spicier, but it's a matter of taste and therefore can't really be criticized.

The service wasn't really good. We waited 40 minutes for our food, which was beautifully prepared but tasted completely bland. For the price I would have expected something more exciting.

It was our first time there and this visit certainly wouldn't be our last at this restaurant. The service is very friendly, accommodating and even made the effort to give our orders priority because we were going to the concert afterwards. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and the lighting concept is cozy. The food was simply excellent. Whether it's dumplings or tuna tataki or the main course is chashu ramen or duck - the food is great! Insider tip: the lemon iced tea with matcha: just AWESOME!

Expensive and tiny potions, but tasty.

I rarely complain, but today we ordered from you and it took a long time for the food to arrive, 40-70 minutes We found the portions very small and not fresh. We thought the food wasn't cooked properly and didn't taste good at all. I hope you can do this in the future. We won't be ordering from you anymore. Everyone was disappointed!!!

Matcha, Passionfruit & Mango and Chocolate Mochis

We ate here before we went to the musical theater. Food excellent. Service very friendly, competent. A quiet oasis to linger. Had a small beer after the musical.

Summary: for the Asian buns worth a visit, the rest of the menu was disappointing; really friendly service and easy atmosphere Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): - Vegetable gyoza: bland just nothing special; nice dip sauce + bun with beef: excellent = Raclette spring rolls: just ok, not a must-have - pad Thai in omelette: noodles overcooked - tuna tataki (raw tuna briefly roasted on the outside): the fish was way too cold nearly causing a brain freeze :) Even though tataki is briefly roasted on the outside; overall bland taste - Same veggies (kraut) are used in several dishes; matching veggies for each dish would be nicer Service: ++ very friendly and lovely Price: + mostly good price for value - 10 CHF for only two gyoza with vegetables is too pricey Atmosphere: + easy going relaxed atmosphere; several large tables for 6 or even 10-12 people

Went for lunch and it was a very good surprise. First thing first it was not too busy and we were warmly welcomed. Menu is not too big meaning it’s probably fresh. Had the chicken teriyaki don and it was super tasty within a good portion. I think there is a big Japanese influence here although don’t expect to find sushi on the menu. Will be back for sure.

Amazing restaurant. One of the best of its kind in Basel. I’d say it’s some sort of Asian fusion cuisine heavily incorporating Japanese dishes. Also open on Sunday all day long, what not to like.

During my lunch break today I was at Nua at around 12:15 p.m. and ordered the meal of the day, the Nua pizza. According to the menu, a pizza topped with mushrooms, tomatoes and olives. Despite the very manageable number of guests, it unfortunately took almost an hour for the pizza to make it to my place. This length of time can hardly be justified for a pizza that is also the only meal of the day. When the pizza came, it wasn't fully baked in places. The dough was raw, its consistency could hardly be distinguished from the cheese and the topping was barely seasoned. Unfortunately, the olives were also searched for in vain. All in all, unfortunately not very convincing.

This restaurant is nearby my hotel and I was craving Asian food hence the visit. There was a special on the dumpling and the main dish, I was interested in the dumpling so it was selected. For the main I have chosen unagi don as I haven't had eel for quite a while. The food tastes interesting, very strong in favor for the dumplings and the soup base. For the unagi Don, it was very rich in its taste, would be better if there is more plain rice to balance the seasoning out.

Love the atmosphere and service! The food was amazing also with a wide variety from the Japanese cuisine. Portions were great too and the little appetizers had a super cute design!

Excellent service and good food in this unassuming restaurant. The interior is minimalist but nicely decorated and you are greeted very friendly. The food - in our case dumplings as a starter and ramen with tuna and tempura as the main course - was excellent. Fresh ingredients, sufficiently large portions and wonderful appearance convinced us to come back!

Unassuming, amazing little place in Kleinbasel. The menu is just right - there may not be 100 different dishes to choose from, but everything is delicious and fresh. I've tried the dumplings, bowls, ramen and desserts and loved everything! Very beautiful presentation of the dishes. I even celebrated my birthday here and my friends were also very happy. Service is always friendly and helpful. Takeaway is also possible. Looking forward to many more visits!

The good was over expensive just cause they put s not of liquid ice but the dumplings were kinda dry and tiny. The waiter speaks English and is very friendly

Seems to be a new place in the area. Very friendly service, a card that is just the right size. The food is really delicious and beautifully prepared. The Bao Burgers in particular are yummi yummi! The waiting time was a bit long, but the food was fresh and tasty

Best asian fusion restaurant in Basel!!

Very good service, very friendly. Food was excellent! Especially the beef bun!! Spicy udon was ok too. Aaaab the Beeeeeeeeef Bun!!!! Definitely try it.

The food was great! We had ramen and the teriyaki donburi. It is highly recommended.

We went at this charming place for taking lunch. We couldn't choose only one thing for the starter and we tried the gyozas and the spring rolls. Good choice to order both because they were delicious! As the main dish, we ordered the spicy Udon with chicken (not spicy) and Teriyaki don with chicken and rice. Exquisite food with magical flavors. The owner came to greet us and the service was very friendly. If we come back to Basilea, we will go back there again!

I had the Unagi Don delivered. This was the second delivery as I had had a good experience with Nua. The Unagi Don tasted good. Nua included a lollipop in the delivery.

Very quiet, exquisitely decorated and beautiful little restaurant. Both Japanese food and Thai milk tea are well done. The first picture is from a special day. I ordered one to try as a snack. Wow! Great food, I had the teriyaki with tofu. That was super tasty. You should also definitely try the two vermouths from GRYFF (ask - not on the menu), for me the best from Switzerland.

On another day we probably would have had a better experience. Unfortunately, a larger company came after us, which overwhelmed the staff. Anyone who wasn't part of the company had to wait a long time for their food. We even had to wait a long time for the bill, so we saved ourselves the dessert. If you know that such a large group is coming, you could simply declare a private party for the evening and save the rest of the customers the frustration. We paid for our meal the same way. But you didn't notice it during the treatment.

Great quality and price. Really tasty food and very friendly staff. Best spring roll I've ever had, and the chicken kaarage was very nicely done. Will definitely come back when I visit Basel next! Please go support 🙂 One caveat is that it gets quite hot eating inside. I'd love to stay for longer try different dishes, but it was hot. Also feel sorry for the staff all dressed in black and long trousers....! Adding a fan would br great, if possible. :)

The restaurant used to be better before they relocated. Their old menu items were better. The old recipes they used tasted better in my opinion. Service is very slow, we were alone at the time. The restaurant went from great to mediocre 😕
