Traveling with a toddler and baby, (I thought so) we're going to lunch, there's a great play area where my little one can really let off steam and have fun doing it. For me too, a short relaxation, eating in peace. Yes, I think everything has been taken away - there are only a few plastic chairs, a table and a wooden frame like a car...ridiculous. My little one didn't have any fun and yeah...you can imagine the rest for yourself...sad thing like that - Price performance also slightly increased for the quality - Food ok

Bruscheta was consumed as an appetizer and pizza as the main course and then glass of Hannewasser had to pay...so you just lose customers😪and tomato from bruscheta was ice cold something like that🥵

Always worth a visit, very friendly service...lunch menu very good...👌

Be careful when loading the children's menu: If you would like a bratwurst for your child, you can only load half a bratwurst!!! This rule is not written down/described at the buffet. This regulation is then grumpily communicated by the cashier. the bratwurst is charged additionally.

Service should be more attentive. Also suggestions. I wanted to know if they had gluten-free pizza (you're allowed to ask???). The waitress said... yes! Said she had to be sure. She asked and there was lactose-free pizza. Presumably risotto would have been suggested by a knowledgeable service - so salad - also healthier. It's a shame.

Food was good, but the service was terrible! After lunchtime there was still a long waiting time of 40 minutes... (For 2 people) Unfriendly & stressed staff

We paid 11.70 francs ONLY for a breaded chicken schnitzel that was barely warm. The price of the side dishes was good (4.20.-). Price-performance ratio is not balanced

I can only recommend it. If desired, pasta or pizza is simply delicious and large portions. Always a guest in the restaurant.

I always enjoyed going to this restaurant, nice terrace with playground and children's corner. Unfortunately, the children's corner inside leaves a lot to be desired. After the few toys (plastic) it had were broken for about a year, they have now been removed. Now it only has tables and chairs to play with. What a shame! Migros and Coop can do miles better...

The man in the black shirt should take a telephone service course. You should be able to remain calm in stressful situations. Unlikable at a high level! Such a shame.. as a weekly customer I expect good service!!!

We entered and were friendly. I ordered lasagna... well, all I can say is that it was the worst I've ever eaten. It had too much salt and it didn't taste like lasagna, but rather like a meat stew with pasta... the orders took a long time and the starter was wrong and the restaurant wasn't even full... the pizza had a very good crust, I liked it . I won't be back... this is my honest opinion.

Pizzas were average. Salad buffet not very appealing with a small selection, we decided not to have it. Waitress was very nice.

After a long wait, we were offered a table in the middle of the room that still had dishes on it. We asked for another table. We were told very unkindly that this was not possible. We then went back!

We waited at the table for probably 20 minutes, no one took the order, we left without eating.

Ambiance was ok; Food was relatively fresh; a rather medium selection of dining options; Service was okay.

Today at 6:30 p.m. in the Manor Restaurant. The buffet warmed up. The pasta was absolutely inedible. Vegetables not acceptable. What's up? 2-3 months ago everything was ok 4 stars. Had to warm up everything including soup in the MW!

The three of us were there today at 1 p.m. Unfortunately we would have to wait a very long time for the menu and also to order drinks (even though only 3 tables were occupied) then we would also have to wait a very long time for the food. At the end we were in front of the teachers plate and waiting. We would really like to order another café. Unfortunately we didn't get to that. Service staff were very engrossed in conversation with each other.

After we were assigned a seat, we waited and waited... Guests who arrived later were served, we weren't. We waved several times but were ignored. After about 15 minutes we left the restaurant without being served. It is clear to me that there were a lot of guests and the service staff was very busy. But others were served, we weren't.

I find the breakfast offering very good and use it often with my son. In summer it is very nice on the terrace and it has a nice playground. Great to stay there. However, the indoor play area leaves a lot to be desired. The offer for a Manora restaurant is almost ridiculous. 2-3 toys (which have been broken for a long time), two children's tables and chairs, two toys fixed to the wall, and a game display that has also been broken for a long time. So there is still a lot of potential. I now use the Migros Restaurant in Sursee more and more often as an alternative in bad or cold weather. 🤷‍♀️

You are NOT greeted and the service is extremely bad because they are neither friendly nor can they speak German clearly. The food is not beautifully presented. Looks like it was thrown away. The pesto sauce tasted like it was store bought and wasn't fresh at all. And then the spaghetti, no taste and was doughy, you could have eaten gummy bears straight away. Water wasn't really refreshing. Bubble tea was good because it was bought but way too expensive like the food. Ah yes, the salad was neither fresh nor tasty. Good luck...

Yes, it is freshly cooked - and then unfortunately left for “self-service” for 2 hours. Everything (piccata, fish, rösti, rice…) was dry or cold and limp. That really wasn't a good performance. And the way the concept is structured is not unique but system-related. Catastrophic quality at very high prices (for what is offered)… Conclusion: Food is a long way from, for example, a Coop restaurant and light years away from a Migros restaurant.

Such a unfriendly experience with kids at lunch today .There were no clear indication on kinder menu . Went with two kids. One was charged adult meal as apparently chicken and potatoes were not considered kids menu and for the one which charged kinder menu they did not tell me that I need to keep the receipt for dessert. We went to take the kids menu dessert and was charged again as we discarded the bill with empty plates . The sad thing is the man at the counter who billed us and whom I discussed the kinder menu about 20min before was the same who charged us again for the dessert . It really not about the money but about how unfriendly the staff is ! We have had very good experiences in other Manora restaurants with kids otherwise !

From 1 star to 4 stars 1 star: 20 minutes waiting for drinks and 40 minutes for food that didn't come. Order slip was lost. Leaving the restaurant hungry 😭 Am very disappointed 4 star: 2 chances to come back after a while. It was good🫶

The pizzas used to be different here; today you only get extremely unseasoned and unsalted dishes. The taste was really weak!

We've been coming back for many years. The pizza of your choice is legendary, you can choose up to 5 ingredients in addition to tomato sauce and cheese. You can also order a small pizza. Salad from the buffet is incredibly tasty and definitely recommended. Service is friendly and quick, you pay at the checkout when you leave.

Long wait because they lost our order

Pizzas not like they used to be! Unsalted, pizza dough more like bread. Extremely unseasoned! Salami tasted very strange. An employee pointed out to us that the daily menu papers were very expensive because my daughter broke one... It was super ridiculous.

I always like to eat there, I personally always order calzone because it is very tasty. The staff is always friendly, even when things are stressful. 👍 Looking forward to the next time.

Unfortunately it was ignored...even though the employee walked past me several times...after 10 minutes he still didn't bring me a menu. Two new guests arrived...and they were served after 2 minutes...what a shame

I like the pasta/risotto here! I will also order a pizza if I m not alone. You can choose any ingredients you want, any pasta or risotto. It’s very similar to the style that I grow up with in Australia. I would say it’s much more meat than the one you will come across in Italy. Delicious!

I eat out often when I don't have much time. It was always delicious and the order came to the table quickly. I can highly recommend the pizza and pasta dishes (you can also put together your own).

Thank you for coming to Lucerne! At lunchtime I visited a lot of restaurants... and to be honest, the gastronomy in Lucerne is very boring, expensive and not very varied. Manora is a fantastic place where I eat almost every day. The food is tasty, the right price and the service in general is good. From here I would like to highlight the work of the person in charge of Manora, who makes the difference for his professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of the catering sector!

Food is ok! Very nicely presented at first glance. But the breakfast (6 delicacies for 6 Fr) is a joke. Butter is also a delicacy? And the portions are so tiny that 6 francs is a lot. The tables and chairs were a disaster. Dirty until you drop. Especially now in Corona times, the tables etc should be cleaned perfectly. Staff is very different. You can be lucky but also unlucky.

Das Essen ist lecker und der Service ist sehr freundlich! Doch der Restaurant Leiter Herr Thalmann , eine Kellnerin gab mir den Namen, ist sowas von unmotiviert!!!! Und ist absolut unfreundlich. Er machte einen Eindruck, als wäre er mit den vielen Gästen am Mittag überfordert , Schade. In diesem Restaurant waren wir zum letzten mal.

I was just in the restaurant with my wife and child. Very rude service, very poorly organized. After waiting for over 30 minutes and after others got their food before us, I asked. I was told that the food was coming soon. After another 15 minutes I asked someone else where the food was. Unfortunately the order was not placed. After that I said you don't have to start anymore since we're leaving now. She tells me to wait because the person in charge wants to apologize. Instead of apologizing, she comes to argue with me. She says it was about 15 minutes. I will never go to this restaurant again and do not recommend it.

I even like the place, but there are arrogant staff in the restaurant and there is never a smile or willingness to help (two gentlemen)

Breakfast at Manora, 6 delicacies from the buffet including 1 hot drink for SFR 6.-. A good selection, the atmosphere is pleasant, the differently designed areas offer the right seat for everyone. Free parking in the parking garage.

Too long waiting times. Arrived at 10.45, received the order card and ordered at 10.50. At 11:15 we still didn't have any food even though the restaurant was empty. After asking, we were told that the kitchen doesn't open until 11 a.m. 11.20 still no food. It's a shame, but if you have another appointment at 11.40, it's no fun. Was here last time. Not recommendable.

The breakfast there is, as always, excellent. And at a great price! I go there regularly.

We come here time to time cause my kids like the pizza so I have tried different dishes on different times but somehow I was always hopeful but as of today I’ll order only pizza and get salad from the buffet! I think I just wasted my money on this fish dish!!!!

Wir gehen in diesem Restaurant (mit verschiedenen Leitungen) seit über 40 Jahren ein und aus!!!Auch schon einige Male mit 6,7,8 Freunden und Bekannten.Über die Jahre mit Konsumationen für mind. geschätzte 5'000+ CHF.Erstaunlicherweise ist die Salatbar seit jeher eine Messlatte für viele andere Lokalitäten.Abwechslungsreicher und frischer geht nicht.Gestern nun - aus lauter Gewohnheit unkritisch - wieder mal Pizza.Nach rund der Hälfte merkte ich, dass der Nachgeschmack immer bitterer wurde.Ich kehrte die restlichen 50% der Pizza um und siehe da: Mindestens drei Viertel des Bodens waren schwarz, kohlrabenschwarz verbrannt.In diesem Moment kam der Service vorbei, ein strammer Italo und fragte, ob alles recht sei.Ja, fast. Ich zeigte ihm den Russboden und meinte, das sei ungewohnt und schlecht.Seine kurze, spontan-spitze Entgegnung: Das ist überhaupt nicht schwarz. Punkt.Ich zu ihm: Nun ja, als regelmässiger Italien-Tourist weiss ich aus Erfahrung, dass ein Italiener, so wie ich, schwarze Pizze grundsätzlich ablehnt.Er zu mir: Ich bin Italiener ... und ging wortlos weiter.Tja, ob wir das letzte Mal da waren?Tipp: Pizza umkehren, photographieren und hier posten!Dann werden die Pizze garantiert bald wieder so wie sie sein müssen: Schmackhaft UND gesund.Denn jeder, der nicht mit dem Schnellzug durch die Schule rasselte, weiss es:Verbranntes ist krebserzeugend.X-fach nachgewiesen.

Outstanding service and incredible pizzas! Must try the homemade Ice Tea as well. Prices are super for this amazing quality of food. Definitely will be going back soon :)

No longer worth a visit, waiting for a long time, wrong food, it can't be that my 2 year old child gets his food 10 minutes after us, things have been going downhill for 2 years, new staff after the renovation is a catastrophe and there is less on the plates than before 2 years. That was our last visit today

A really great self-service restaurant. A good breakfast buffet is available. Every lunchtime there is a large selection of freshly prepared menus to choose from. Fresh juices, burgers, pasta dishes and desserts are available. In the afternoon there is a great cake buffet. The atmosphere is nice and bright and there is the option to sit outside. The staff is friendly

Ich war mit meiner Familie Abendessen. Ich muss sagen, es war einer der besten Italienischen Restaurant, in der Zentralschweiz. Die Küche ist offen, so kann man Ihnen beim kochen zusehen, es ist sehr schön zum schauen, weil sie sehr ruhig und gelassen arbeiten. Das essen ist hervorragend, man hat kaum wartezeit und die Bedienung ist nett. Ich werde wieder kommen. Nur zum empfehlen!

We often go to the restaurant for breakfast. Everything tastes good to us so far. The "wooden" trays that you need to transport the food are very dirty, sticky, and simply not clean. Before you start eating, your fingers are already stuck together. We have complained about this several times, including today. Where the restaurant manager had no ear for it. His simple answer: The trays are cleaned every day. Well, yes, that's possible... just not thoroughly enough. It's a shame that guests who want to contribute to improvement are not taken seriously. Nevertheless, we continue to visit the Manora Restaurant and hope for a change in boss soon who appreciates his guests, even if they notice deficiencies.

Restaurante normal, con muy buen servicio. En la línea de precios de Suiza, carísimo, lo que más me ha sorprendido, el precio del agua 6,50 francos una botella de 1/2 litro, yendo con niños, pues 19,50 francos solo en agua (unos 18€). Por el resto la pasta bien, las pizzas correctas y los platos de carne, escasos en carne para el precio que tienen, más patatas fritas que carne. Postres correctos pero caros, y buen café. El servicio muy atento con los niños y muy amable. Hemos repetido, puesto que las opciones cercanas tampoco convencen.
