Rialto in Bern

rotten shrimps etc. that lead to one led to food poisoning... Why doesn't food control intervene???

The four of us spontaneously had dinner at your place. Food was ok, pizzas unfortunately a little watery... but spaghetti and Calameris Romana were delicious...

The staff were friendly and informative. The food was divine. I loved all my meal, but especially the Polenta and NZ Lamb. Tasted so good and tasted like home.

Very good restaurant with great food. Service is always very nice and tries to find a place for all guests. Interior design has been the same for over 10 years. Price-performance ratio very good.

Excellent Italian restaurant in the center of Bern. Simply amazing pizza, large selection of salads and other dishes. The waiters serve with lightning speed; we have not seen such service in Switzerland for a long time. This is exactly the case when everything is harmonious, the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We recommend visiting!

I heard there was a wait at the restaurant I was planning to go to, so I was looking for a nearby restaurant and decided to visit after reading the reviews and the food was delicious! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere wasn't bad! The pasta in the third photo is so delicious that I keep thinking about it. They recommended a glass of wine, so I had a glass of wine and it went well with the food.

You can eat well here at fair prices, but it's not particularly special. Just an Italian restaurant like there are countless around the world. But at least not fake Italian.

Well prepared and good dishes with good ingredients, the only downside is the prices, unlike Italy, are very high, the staff is courteous and kind. Cozy and nice place..

We had dinner at the Rialto on 9/23/23. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. The acoustics in the hall are not that good. It was quite crowded and very loud. We almost had to shout at each other. We've eaten in other full restaurants, but it was never so loud that you almost couldn't understand your own words. Will visit this restaurant again if you can eat outside.

We wanted to split our bill in two, the waitress calculated incorrectly and instead of 61.90 I would have had to pay 80.20. As an apology we wanted a limoncello and the boss didn't agree to give us one. Too bad you lost 4 customers.

Everything was fine. Delicious pizza and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is located on a quiet side street and therefore you can enjoy the pizza here in peace. A visit here is definitely worth it because everything was delicious.

I went to eat alone, but they took good care of me... More than anything, the spaghetti was so delicious... I'll come back if I'm nearby!

Returning home after a long trip, we decided to have dinner in Bern. Not many restaurants and cafes are open in the evening in Bern. The pizza and salad were delicious, the service was friendly.

I have no idea why the waiter was so unfriendly to me. Didn't ask if the food was tasty or if the plate could be cleared away. Just took the plate and it was gone. When clearing away, across my face. He politely asked the two women who accompanied me if it was good, could they clear the plate, so it was very obvious that he had a problem with me, for whatever reason🤷‍♂️ I didn't feel comfortable at all..

Nice Italian, good ambience and friendly service. Large and varied selection, large portions. A little expensive but very tasty.

Service is extremely bad and they treat travelers terribly. They don’t respect travelers. They tried to sit our party on the far end of the street while there are many tables available in the middle. The guy manager is rude. At the end, we were overcharged as well.

Nice outside seating area on the street side. Good service. We ordered pizza with porzini & truffles but ot had no triffles inside. Later we descoverd they use only truffle oil. Pizza was good but price is to big for just "truffle oil".

I went shopping in Bern, but all the stores were closed and it was raining, so I went to the store that was open, but the staff was friendly and the food was delicious, which made me feel better.

So if I can recommend something, it would be this pizzeria. At first I thought, wow, the mixed salad is a bit expensive. But he was great! Super well made and the Italian sauce not too sour. We were out for a long time today and burned a lot of calories and the Etna Pizza is highly recommended. But it has its calories. The service was also good and very flexible. All in all a great visit, I'd love to do it again when I'm in Bern 👍👍👍

Very good restaurant, the pizzas are super good, large with well-cooked dough. It must be admitted that the prices are not cheap, but for being in the capital and in Switzerland the prices are normal. I highly recommend

We just wanted to have a drink and were directed to tables that had no sun protection, with the comment that they wanted to reserve the tables in the shade for guests eating. So guests are divided into 2 categories and anyone who doesn't want to eat automatically counts as a second-tier guest

We were here with a group of 26 people. There was a reservation but you miscounted. But that was then corrected quickly and easily. The food was good and came quickly. However, it could have been a little hotter and the bread (with the salad) could have been put on the table a little more. What I remember negatively is the enormous noise level that prevailed (it was quite crowded).

Once again I was there after my first visit months ago was very good. This time with the whole family. Ser attentive and friendly service, short waiting times and fresh, fine food. We are completely satisfied, because the special requests were also responded to very happily and attentively. We'll definitely come back when we get the chance, because the price performance was also very good.

It was a satisfying meal! There were a lot of customers at both the inside and outside tables, but we were the only Koreans. I ordered two seafood pizzas and aglio olio. The pasta was a bit bland for my taste, but it was delicious with some pepper/salt added. I went there thinking it was a good wood-fired pizza restaurant, but the dough was really chewy and delicious. If you go, I recommend trying pizza :)

We had a business lunch here and it was the excellent place for such a meeting. The food tasted very good. We were served very quickly and the staff was very nice! I can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a cosy restaurant with good food!

Lovely pizza but was charged for 3.5 CHF for tap water in a city which has free drinking water from their street fountains. When it came to the bill the waiter, who was very professional and just passing on the message from management told us that there was a charge for tap water only if it is ordered on its own without other soft drinks. However this didn’t make sense since we had already ordered soft drinks with our meal. Don’t know if it was the water or the food but 2 hours later my friend and I were sick.

Pizza is okay, but they insist you pay for tap water.

We visit many restaurants on a regular basis and are still often unrecognized. But at the Rialto we are always recognized straight away, greeted nicely and the service staff usually joke about our order in advance, as we almost always order the same thing. You immediately feel noticed and part of the family. That's why we like to come back again and again!
