We dined with Vreni for her 50th birthday. Happy birthday first of all. Even tho' she heard it from us in person. The veal liver was delicious. percectly cooked. Tartar had a nice sweet touch, but the additional spicey offered was not decent. Salad had too much vinegad. Bread was tasty. Haxe was dry. Af.

It was fantastic weather..great summer festival with aperitif, localition a treat, like the fine food with small portions..just great..the staff very competent, friendly.A place to enjoy at any time!

Recently I had a salad with chicken. Quietly very good and good quantity. The selection on the menu is rather small, but above average.

Wonderful food, nice place. The only thing wrong, was the loud disco music from the kitchen mixed with the soft dinner room music.

The food was very good. The chef takes care of his guests, his recommendations and friendliness are particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, the service is not at the level of a restaurant like this. We really enjoyed the meal.

The quality of the food was rather poor. The potatoes were e.g. B already pre-peeled from the bucket. So completely watery with no taste. The service, the gentleman, was great, but the woman was very unfriendly and completely annoyed. Very unprofessional. The quantity. Very very small portions for way too much money

Great place to enjoy a truly tasty high cuisine. We have appreciated the 4-course menu a lot - good sized portions with well selected sides. We would absolutely recommend!

Nice, sunny terrace, service borderline, so unfortunately not again soon...

Invited to a birthday party and was very satisfied with both the food and how it was organized by the birthday girl. At the end of the dinner, before dessert, all the guests were diverted to watch a theater piece with a Swiss actor who was exceptional in my opinion.

A wonderful place and culinary fantastic. The game (deer) is as tender as butter and a dream. Worth every franc. And the sea buckthorn sorbee will melt away. And the service refines the evening and provides perfect advice on the wine accompaniment and the aperitif. Keep it up. Thank you

Unfriendly staff, very snobby (mostly white rich old men) customers and overall atmosphere. The owner walks around with her nose up high as if the world is hers and has a unpleasant tone of speaking to customers. The food is “okay” but very overpriced for what it is. Wine selection on the other hand is great but not worth giving this review more than 2 stars. Won’t be visiting again. Would still recommend going for a walk around the top of the mountain/hill during sunset.

Very good kitchen and a nice atmosphere in the relatively small dining room. There is a terrace, but on a nice day I prefer the terrace of the restaurant of the Sorel Zürichberg hotel which had a splendid view of the Alps.

We were with you last night. We both really enjoyed the beetroot tartare. For my taste it was a bit sweet. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? Your menu could offer more variety. The hosts are great.

Perfect evening. We enjoyed a perfect evening on the beautiful terrace in the light of the setting sun. Friendly welcome, impeccable service, excellent food: starter (falafel) and main course (Rigiblick casserole) in generous portions. Since we were now full, the Rigiblick coffee was just the thing. It arrived accompanied by a small iced coffee and an excellent praline. Compliment. Gladly again.

An insider tip that you can only understand if you think outside the box!

We were on the terrace on the last day before the company holidays. The service has potential for improvement in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. The one who came in from the lower service showed his better side. The trout was perfect, the risotto was a bit hearty. The salad was fresh, the caramelized goat cheese was very tasty, but the dressing was unfortunately ordinary. There was no question from service about the dressing F/I.

Went there as a group of 13 to conclude a team event. We've been all very happy with the food that was nicely presented, tasty and well balanced. Portions are well calculated, there was no waste. The service could be improved but a big thank you for the waiter from Tunisia who did a good job.

Great tastes, nicely cooked and sunny terrace! That worked well for us, family of 4 (baby and toddler), we could enjoy some tasty 5-dish menu while toddler could make his escapes in the open area next to it!

A diamond of the Zurich gastronomic scene! What's on offer up here on the Zürichberg is great cinema. The cuisine brings it to the point in terms of taste. Fresh, seasonal and regional dishes of the highest standard are conjured up on the plate here. Simple, straightforward and without a lot of fancy frills. Kitchen as it should be! From the first starter to the main course to dessert, each course was in a class of its own. Whether a gourmet menu or a classic. The menu offers something for every taste. You eat in the middle of the countryside with breathtaking sunsets with a view over the city of Zurich. This is rounded off by friendly service and a selection of excellent Swiss wines. Thank you for the fantastic evening!

Expensive food and poor choice of food...

I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant! The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good meal. They even provided us complimentary drinks when we didn’t order anything. I was so touched and will definitely be back if I ever get the chance to!

I've never eaten in a restaurant before, but I've been to the theater a few times. It was always very friendly!

The Rigiblick restaurant has a beautiful view over Zurich and a pleasant ambience in the interior. The wine selection is very diverse and the staff is very knowledgeable. But for us the highlight was the kitchen. At our request, the dishes were made into vegetarian versions and the taste still matched each other perfectly. All dishes were cooked to perfection and the sea buckthorn cheesecake as dessert was the icing on the cake. Very delicate. The chefs gave us a wonderful evening.

Pleasant atmosphere! Very competent, friendly staff and incredibly good cuisine! The courses were delicious across the board and even as vegetarians we were treated to unusual dishes. The highlight of the evening was definitely the dessert!

Successful Sunday lunch in what is probably the most beautiful guest garden in Zurich. Of course, such a sunny day is very busy in this excursion restaurant and the waiting time is a little longer, but the friendly service and excellent cuisine definitely make up for it. We enjoyed a terrific veal tartare, zucchini falafel and pasta with fresh truffles. However, quality comes at a justified price, especially in Zurich

Very nice and cozy restaurant with attentive and friendly service. Fine drinks and a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view over Zurich. The Rigiblick cable car is right in front of the house and you can enjoy a pleasant walk on the Zürichberg.

The food was good, but very expensive for what it is. The service did not correspond to the price segment. The view would be nice if you could see over the hedge or walk onto the enclosed sun terrace.

Had Tavolata with a group on a Sunday. As a vegetarian, this is pure disgrace! Almost only meat/fish as starters and then you can only make do with side dishes as the main course. What century do they actually live in? In addition, the service was completely overwhelmed. You can wait up to 15 minutes for the wine to be refilled!

We probably sat outside for 45 minutes waiting for the table to be cleared so we could order something. Despite asking twice, we were still ignored, which is why we ultimately left without consuming anything.

Wow Vreni Giger's Gourmet Restaurant does what it promises. We are blown away by your delicious creations and extremely friendly service. The ambience completes the whole thing! We will be back!

Great location, take the Rigiblickbahn, good atmosphere and great theater program

The programs are good, but not recommended during Corona times as the 50cm distance between people cannot be maintained in the concert hall. The hall is overcrowded and poses a risk of infection via aerosol.

Our event could not be held due to internal Corona measures. The request to be able to hold the event next year was not responded to. Unfortunately the cancellation policy was retained. As a “consolation” 20% of the invoice amount was credited for next year. Even though times are difficult for the catering industry, it would have been nice if we could have postponed the event.

Came away with very mixed impressions... The menu looks quite attractive. I asked for the wine menu but only got a suggestion of the Pinot they help producing (ordered it, found it ok but not at par with any other Pinot, even from the same sun-deprived region); I ordered a mineral water with gas and got one without; the pumpkin soup tasted floury; the calf liver was fine, and they nicely agreed to exchange their odd choice of risotto as a side dish with something else, except for the classic Rösti, which they resolutely do not offer... When it came to dessert, I realized that all 7 items on that menu contain ice cream. No alternatives. And it's late November, ice cold outside, about to snow. The lady serving me (she appears to own or at least run the place) was surprised to hear that, and then did the exact opposite of what one does in such cases: she dug in her heels, said how tasty the desserts are, and that they were very proud of their ice creams 😂. All in all: some decent food, served with unshakeable convictions that they know what's good for you. Such as ice cream only for dessert in the winter 🥶.

The food was very, very, very good. It was too “classy” for me. That doesn't appeal to me that much. The portions were too small. Service was good, sometimes a bit forgetful. (But there were a lot of us) If you like something extravagant, this is just the thing for you. To the chef, definitely 5 stars plus.

The kitchen was perfect, unfortunately the service was a disaster, unfriendly, impolite, demotivated and completely overwhelmed. The overall impression was very disappointing.

Outstanding food in a beautiful location. Often when you go to a restaurant with a view, the food does not live up to the surroundings. I'm happy to say that Rigiblick is not such a place. Everything here is top notch.

Zurich on your plate. You have a complete picture of old Zurich.

Staff overwhelmed due to the many visitors in the beautiful weather. Inattentive, everything took a long time. Prices extremely high/exaggerated... chf 5 for a children's syrup and the aperitif snacks the same again. Were neither greeted nor farewell. And finally, I think the CHF 8 parking fee for 1.5 hours is excessive/greedy.

Reachable with the Rigibahn. Above the roofs of Zurich. Very nice and quiet outdoor area. Friendly service. Unfortunately I couldn't pay with the Rekacard. The terminal did not recognize the card even though the restaurant is listed as an acceptance point.

great view over Zurich. With the Rigiblick Bahn you have a fantastic view over Zurich in just a few minutes. If you want, you can walk back down past stately Zurich villas.

Rigiblick: excellent and varied food, very good wines, tasteful ambience both inside and outside, warm hostess and a perfect team. (A pleasant) obligation every time you visit Zurich.

The starters and main course were good, the desserts brought the average rating down. Good value for money.

One of the best views in Zurich. Probably second only to Uetliberg. While only minimal infrastructure up there, yet good for picknick, and good starting point for walks. Easy to get to, the funicular runs every six minutes. Makes it worth to go even if for quick round trip to catch views of the city, lake and spectacular mountains in background on clear days.

We enjoyed a great evening in the bistro at Rigiblick with tasty food and fine wine. The very nice staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is not too extensive, but very well coordinated. The prices are moderate. The wine list offers something for every taste. We really liked it - we'll be back.

Stunning views combined with contemporary design, delicious food, and great service. You take a cute funicular up the hill the reach this hotel. There you'll find a big terrasse that offers great views over Zürich. Meeting rooms of different sizes for events are available. The food at the restaurant is excellent, made from fresh, seasonal ingredients, and nicely presented.

Small and fun attraction in Zürich. Sandard public transport ticket is valid for the ride. Kids love it. The cabin itselt is very small, only few stitting places available. On the top station a beautiful view over Zürich, but otherwise nothing special. A great walking root down the hill.
