Me and my husband just wanted to have a drink, the waiter convinced us for small dishes/snacks. We didn't get any snacks after 30-45 minutes. According to the conditions, they wait for the kitchen until our snacks are ready. It's actually a shame... if the waiter hadn't suggested snacks to us, I would have given 5 stars for drinks.

We decided to go there for dinner (date) on the spur of the moment. Immediately a white table and good, charming - if somewhat overwhelmed - service (approx. 100 seats for 2 people). The food was great, high quality and regional.

Terrible experience, I really didn't expect it, excellent location and view of the lake but very disappointing poor service, I understand that being a tourist area you enjoy a guarantee of perennial customers but the cost of your services should deserve at least the minimum in relation to the customer, which I haven't seen. Nothing to do with the staff. I don't recommend such a place to anyone.

Great all-round view, exciting in every direction, lots of choice for food. Everyone will find something here. Whether meat warm or cold, or pizza, vegetarians can also find their food. Salametti or cheese for in-between meals can always be ordered. The preparation is always made with love, which means eating and drinking is fun here. Thanks to the whole team. We waited over 1 hour for the food. Staff was very hectic. The view was beautiful. Water was emptied on us when it was served.

There is a lack of collaboration between employees, there is a lack of a manager worthy of his name and who knows how to lend a hand where needed. Instead it is very sad to see staff and managers laughing at the only waiter who is also the only person working. It's also a shame that there are crates of empty bottles as customers pass by.

When we wanted to pay, we had to wait a long time for the serving lady with red hair. Then we counted out the money and placed it on the table, pointed out the money to the serving lady as we left and left. We had taken a photo beforehand just to be on the safe side - the red-haired serving lady had already been very unfriendly to us and we sensed that something was "wrong". When we wanted to get on the boat 20 minutes later (the jetty right next to the restaurant), she loudly accused us in front of other people that we had paid ABOUT 3.00 less. Here is proof that we have put enough on the table. You are now welcome to count it at your leisure. But what was offered here is an incredible impudence! Only I can tolerate slow service if it is friendly. This is a NOGO.

Great place. Very cozy. Top staff, extremely friendly and the food is really very good. We were in Ticino for 40 years and didn't know the restaurant existed. Kind and professional waiters, shame about the manager's attitude. I was sitting at an outside table with my 1 year old in the stroller, next to my chair (after all there wasn't much space to put him elsewhere) when the manager without explanation and in an arrogant tone asked to "move the stroller because the entrance was there." When I pointed out several access points around the remaining tables (almost all empty) the manager always replied in arrogant and increasingly heated tones that "that is the emergency exit and he has already paid fines". I'm sorry because if he had explained his request from the beginning in cordial tones I would have satisfied him even by apologizing. I will never come back because of his terrible attitude towards customers!

Restaurant at the Locarno shipyard. 3 areas are available: a large outdoor area, the indoor area in the bistro style and the glazed pavilion in the youth style. The menu is varied with fish, seafood, meat and various pasta dishes. Also fondue chinoise and cheese fondue. I like the wine selection. The kitchen is well maintained and pleased. The service was also friendly and attentive. A restaurant that we can recommend.

We sat down at 11.45am and the dishes arrived around 1pm.. There were 4 of us plus a stroller with the little 9 month old on board. It was 15% full and we asked to sit on the terrace which was free. They told us that the terrace was completely occupied (10-15 seats) and no one arrived from 11.45am to 2.00pm. Cold and poorly heated place (December) and the cleaning of the tables was poor. The starter was presented well, but my wife's prawn skewers were cold and rubbery, it looked like a dish prepared the day before. Of the main courses, not a single one was saved. The mixed fried food was inedible, the French fries were the same, it was greasy and old. Three other dishes were Gaeng Kari, one with chicken, one with beef and the last with prawns. Chicken was fine, the beef was half raw and with a taste never experienced before (Thai lover, and therefore it was not the specialty of the dish)… Raw prawns.. Everyone was really sorry, and we left the dishes there. I'm not a fan of complaints, and I feel uncomfortable making them, but unfortunately I had to have my say, politely, but unfortunately neither of us wanted to constructively accept our observations (waiter and owner), we also received a a slightly ignorant comment on the fact that something like this has never happened in 4 years and that no one has ever complained about his "super dishes". Too bad, very disappointed, and never had such a bad experience. Expensive price for what is served, even for Locarno. My daughter's ready-made baby food, however, was heated to the right temperature and she ate with gusto ;)

How nice, they still served the "old" gaseous ones (local!) with the typical bottle with closure from the past...

I have never experienced such an incredibly unfriendly and incompetent company. You approach the guests' table without a menu and with a tone that makes you wish you could bring up the food you haven't yet ordered in advance. So we just ordered drinks, the coffee machine was probably broken that day and they gave us the information with an eye roll and made us feel like idiots. So we ordered 3 cokes and 3 beers. We then waited 25 minutes for this order without even seeing a menu. Guests who arrived after us and ordered ice cream sundaes were served beforehand. When our order finally arrived, one beer was missing. There was no way to tell the waitress (two equally unfriendly women) because we were ignored. When we wanted to pay, the missing beer obviously had to be canceled because we had to move on. We continued to be ignored when we went to the counter and were told to pay there was no option to cancel the missing item and they brought us a freshly tapped beer even though we wanted to leave. When we said we couldn't do anything with it anymore, they poured it into a great plastic cup (which didn't even fit all the beer). We paid because after wasting 60 minutes we then had to get to our ferry. Still hungry, but at least we were able to enjoy the worst service the entire group has ever experienced. The whole thing happened on August 14th. around 3 p.m. and I can only hope that the ladies in question get the opportunity to be treated like that.

The food was good and the prices were also ok considering the location. But: the service was incredibly unfriendly. Adding a chair was a huge problem. Eyes were rolled at every order. You just wanted to get away again. Small note that can still be forgiven. As festival participants we are promised a 20% discount. Only 10% locally. It's unpleasant, but who knows who miscommunicated here.

The dinner was correct, price was normal for the market. The salad and pizza were fine but nothing to write home about. I have the impression that it may be slightly difficult to find amazing food in Locarno due to the high number of tourists. Service was professional and quite fast. There were two waiters for a full terrace. The location is pleasant.

Starter (large green salad with shrimps, very good salad dressing) was served on two plates especially for us. Main course Pizza Diavola and Prosciutto e funghi also very tasty. Up until then the service was really very good. Unfortunately, you were then ignored and asked if there was anything else, coffee, dessert, grappa... although the number of guests was unfortunately modest that evening and setting the table again seemed more important.

Beautiful view, great location. Quiet area (depend sin where you seat). Service was fast and super attentive staff member, Antonio, helped throughout our visit to this restaurant. The house wine was very delicious and it went surprisingly well with our 3-course menu. I say “surprisingly well” because there were wrong flavor of the balsámico sauce in the salad and the pesto sauce in our pasta. I didn’t like that they served bread without butter. Maybe it is a Swiss thing? But I’m used to having butter or olive oil to accompany it. When it comes to the pasta, my only complain lies in the pesto sauce. It was missing more salt and garlic. I also ordered Parmesan cheese since they didn’t give (or offered) any to garnish. The dessert was spectacular, but take in consideration it contained Grappe so it was a bit much for my husband who had wine and then just drive. The female staff (maybe owner ? Or manager? Wasn’t very attentive. I had questions for her and she wasn’t helpful or kind at all. Antonio had 10/10 in service. The food has potential to improve, but delicious nonetheless. I would definitely come back.

We sat down at 2.25pm ​​and got up at 4.15pm. We took 3 140g tartars, 1 70g tartar, 1 margherita, 1 pizza with raw ham and drinks. Total 206.60.- Service: The drinks were brought right away, the food arrived 45 minutes later. At this point the drinks were finished and we reordered them. We had to ask for them again after 15 minutes because they didn't arrive. In the end they offered us a limoncello, even there I had to get up to go and ask for it again 15 minutes after it didn't arrive. Food: - Tartar tasted a bit like mustard, but the meat was good. Excellent bread with butter. - Pizza with too greasy dough, it reminded me of American pizzas. Very thick raw ham, you couldn't eat it. - Mediocre beer, but liked it - Very good coke - Very good Limoncino Location: - Nice and airy place, very nice interior, you are directly on the lake and it is very beautiful and relaxing, as long as you don't look out and look at the water because it is very dirty. I'm sorry to give 2 stars because it promised very well and has a lot of potential. If they sped up the service and tasted their dishes to improve them, it would be a crazy place. It seems that it was instead designed to welcome tourists from northern Switzerland and abroad, who have a much lower standard of food and come to Ticino to relax and can take their time eating.

Food and beverages were delightful, prices reasonable. We sat outside due to covid restrictions, therefore noisy and hectic surroundings. The waiters were friendly and showing effort.

Our weekend was great in Locarno until we grabbed something at this restaurant. I got coffee with my family at the takeaway. Then we decided to sit on the terrace. The one waiter told me it was OK. But the moment we sat down, the boss came over very rudely and told us we weren't allowed to sit because we got take away. And this was only because of a 10% discount, and we were not informed that we would get a discount because of take away. The boss then told us it was ok we could stay. After the boss leaves, the employee comes and tells us we have to get up. Very unfriendly service and communication.

At first glance, the Ristorante Pizzeria Debarcadero didn't exactly make the greatest impression on me. Luckily we still sat down. We were served by an extremely friendly and attentive waiter and the food exceeded our expectations. We can recommend a visit with a clear conscience.

A very nice restaurant by the lake! To stop at lunchtime and enjoy the coolness of the lake while enjoying a good pizza, it's ideal. However, count on around twenty euros for a pizza and around ten euros for a dessert.
