Ristoro Taneda in Quinto

I found this restaurant to be overrated. The building itself is nice and the ambience was good. Inside was very warm - too warm. The biggest downside was rude waitress - she pretended that there are no available tables while there were two. When we said we will wait - table suddenly appeared. Food was OK, but nothing special. Menu is very limited. Gnocchi were tasteless, pork stew was good. Overall, I will not come back, because of bad service. Too bad as the place has very good potential.

The restaurant is located in a truly suggestive corner in the middle of the mountains: A stone's throw from the lake (where it is possible to swim). Reachable by car. Good variety and quality of dishes. The place is very nice and well looked after inside too. Closed in winter 🥹

Located about 100 meters from Lake Cadagno, it has parking very close by. Really very interesting place where you can eat excellent dishes. Very kind and courteous staff. The vegetarian lasagna is really very good, I recommend it!

Visited Ristoro Taneda with our two dogs. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. Very good food, large selection considering where you are. Great construction with panoramic windows, top modern. No Swisscom Mobile reception in the entire area!

Beautiful location, wonderful ambience and perfect hospitality!

Despite peak lunchtime, we were warmly welcomed and a table for four was set up especially for us. The food was excellent and lovingly prepared. Chef Guerino, his wife and their daughter make you feel at home. We were particularly pleased with Guerino's private tour of his party room, where cured hams that had been dried in this house (Spycher) hung on a wall. By the way, you can buy such a PROSCIUTTO CRUDO! At the end we were treated to a delicious sweet. Thank you for the lovely stay. We will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such hospitality and high-level cuisine at this mountain retreat. We stayed one night and the room was clean and beautiful with an impeccable breakfast including homemade jams, cold cuts and cheeses, omelettes and hot and cold drinks. It is possible to eat for lunch and dinner with an à la carte menu, fresh products and original dishes such as the excellent hay soup. Recommended for those who want to live a special and comfortable experience even in the high mountains!

Outstanding gourmet restaurant discovered by accident after walking in the surroundings of lake Ritom. Delicious homemade pasta dishes complemented with an excellent local wine. The family-run enterprise is something to behold as the amazing husband & wife team prepare the food and provide friendly service and menu recommendations from a delightfully modern kitchen and seating area in a recently-converted barn. A tour of the ham stocks stored in a separate building is also available upon request.
