Rooftop in Zürich

We ordered wine and the set was poured for us. When we pointed this out to the boss, he said oh, we didn't see it. No effort made to fix the problem, just weak....

Great view and the food was good but quite a limited selection, drinks were reasonably priced ans the location was perfect

Although I did not eat a meal here, I will return to do so. I was visiting the WOW Museum and had a little time before my entry time. The atmosphere was as inviting as the host! Everyone appeared to be having a wonderful Sunday Brunch. The drink "Late Bloomer" was an experience! Not only tasty but visually appealing and aromatic!

It's a nice location with a view of Bahnhofstrasse. The prices are therefore also very expensive. Cocktails cost between 20-25 francs. Of course you have high expectations! However, both drinks we ordered were undrinkable! I've never been served anything so disgusting. The one drink “Maneki-Neko” has a strange taste like perfume. The second “Honeydew illusion” had a rim of salt which was really bad and you just couldn't drink it. The service wasn't particularly friendly either! Really not recommended for this price!

The awe-inspiring vista and charming ambiance provided an ideal setting for our dining experience. We relished the delectable sweet potato fries and a crisp duck salad, expertly complemented by a refreshing beer selection. It was indeed a dining experience to cherish and remember fondly!

Lovely assortment of international vegetarian foods . Pretty setting, friendly staff. You should go!

It's actually one of my favorite places. But that evening I wanted to pay and after a while I realized that I had been given the wrong change. After I ordered something again and paid again to another waitress, I didn't get enough change again. When I asked them about it, they got angry and acted like I counted wrong. This resulted in an argument of a mild extent. very disappointing!

Very, very unfriendly staff… don't even look at it when ordering and after paying, no thanks, nothing… just run away. Sad

Entrance at rituals brand shop lift it was a big surprise by chance it was very close to me and a bit hidden but great view, terrace and inside area...the Elia was coming before with a good mood, atmosphere cosmopolitan urban with rock music than me there was...I ordered crispy duck salad and 1000% recommended and Pad Thai generous portions, parking garage nearby...

DO NOT plan your evening around your reservation because you may find that you simply cannot enter. I found myself standing in front of the locked main and side entrances in the cold and rain with two business partners without anybody picking up the phone. I cannot fathom how this is a reasonable way to treat patrons. The owner responded the next day to my displeased email with an apology saying that "somebody must have locked the door." You don't say. Extremely expensive, but a great place for some bites and cocktails. The view is okay, not tremendous, but there's a nice vibe and the food and drinks are good. I mostly stick with the vegan gyoza, the naan bread with hummus is nice with it. For cocktails, the Bourbon Slush is a fruity whiskey sour, I really like it.

Bad service, they were uncomfortable, not friendly at all. Poor buffet brunch options, the breads were dry like it was from the day before. The pancakes were too oily and a little bit burnt. The views are ok, overall I dont recommend this place.

Warm roof top in Zürich city center! The menu is quite various, with asian (fusion) food to italian. The terrace is the big plus of the restaurant! The food was pretty good. I took the bao buns, they seemed pretty small at first but they are actually quite filling. I think one point to emphasize is that it is not the best asian food you can have, but the fusion with european taste is well done. The ambiance and location of the restaurant makes it a 5 star google maps review.

We had dinner at this place and the truth is I was expecting a stomach ache because of the many condiments they usually use in certain foods and to my surprise it wasn't like that! Everything felt so healthy and delicious at the same time that I was able to enjoy it without guilt! love the service and the place is beautiful and cozy. worth it👏👏

The view was nice, but that's about it. Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. Waiter never brought me my drink. Ramen was terrible, it was like bad spaghetti in ginger water, dumplings were decent though. Left unsatisfied.

Beautiful view. Absolutely overpriced. Cocktails not even professionally prepared, but far too expensive and not good. The waitress herself said that the mixtures were ready. Poor. Service staff mostly seems arrogant and listless. You don't feel wanted. Not really friendly. To top it off, 2.3 waiters loudly complained about foreigners/Germans so that many tables heard it and we all just looked at each other and asked ourselves where we had ended up. We won't go again. There are other great rooftops with great service and good quality and tasty drinks.

“Mint tea” is just hot water with mint leaves, coffee is very watery, a pinch of exaggeration for what it is and the waiter is bothered if more of the color changes in front of the chline, stand where the table is and take it from us simply use the table.

Very unfriendly staff -> doesn't work at all. I came here with jeans and the waiters said I was wearing trainer pants. Of course I was let in afterwards but didn't feel like deleting the review haha

Even after 25 minutes we couldn't order. Apparently there was room for the service staff. We couldn't draw attention to ourselves. So we left without consuming anything. And they weren't the only guests who felt this way.

Very cool view from which you can see the whole city. Food was very good but not too much and definitely on the expensive side. The service was very accommodating.

Simply a great place for a drink in Zurich! Cool ambience with a great view of Bahnhofstrasse, good atmosphere, exceptional drinks, delicious food & snacks. Only the prices for some cocktails are, in my opinion, exorbitant. Hence a small deduction.

We waited in line for 20 minutes and then those who were put inside after us were moved outside. When I asked Fernando Martig about it, since he didn't show any understanding that we were waiting until a place outside became available, he said: "I'm the boss, beautiful abe" unfriendly and simply rude, never again but whatever, welcome in ZH!

Stopped by for lunch here, very nice rooftop restaurant and bar with some great views. Had the Massamman Curry which was quite good. The Pad Thai was a little dry though and it would have been nicer if there were choices of meat options for it. Portion sizes were really generous.

Juice shop!! You wait at the door for 20 minutes so that the customers who were in line after us can be seated inside. So that after someone gets up on the terrace, the same customers who were waiting after us are seated outside. When we asked the service about it, he became rude and shouted at us. From Bern to the great 'ZURICH' FOR NOTHING!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

The bar is excellent and offers fine Japanese food and numerous drinks. You can also be on the terrace. The view of Zurich from the rooftop is very worthwhile. I recommend this place.

We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon and only had drinks and no food. Drinks were good and value for money was right. Staff friendly, prompt and accommodating. Central location and the view of the city center is great, but there are better roof terraces to enjoy Zurich (e.g. highly recommended, the terrace of the Storchenbar). Overall, a good change!

My experience at the rooftop bar in Zurich was disappointing. The staff treated customers inappropriately, you were turned away from your seat and due to the lack of communication no one was told that people were waiting to be seated. In addition, customers were commented on by the employees, which is really inappropriate. Overall, the customer service here was poor and unfortunately I cannot recommend this bar.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch at the Modissa Rooftop Restaurant with a unique à la carte buffet experience. Initially, we were provided with a bit of everything, with the luxury to reorder any item at will - a tasteful and elegant way to brunch without navigating through crowded buffet lines. The food was scrumptious and of high quality, set amidst a stylish ambiance with beautiful views over Zurich’s rooftops, especially in sunny weather. However, our experience was slightly marred by receiving unwanted items on our table, including various types of bread, leading to unnecessary food waste. Engaging in a brief consultation with guests beforehand could alleviate this issue. The tables on the terrace were a bit small for brunch, yet overall, we recommend the Rooftop for brunch in a stylish setting.

Everything was great, cheesecake highly recommended, music maybe just a little too loud, but I'd still like to come back

Bit pricey but great view and chill location

Nice terrace located on the top of Bahnhofstrasse. Regarding the menu, the ramen was kinda okay and the mojito was fine. And now I must highlight the two positive features of the bar: first, the corner view was amazing; second, the personnel was super friendly to a single guest, very rare for Zürich. My three words to describe the rooftop: Open-minded, Relaxing, Sunset.

Terrible place with no sense of service. Went for a quick drink with wife and visiting friend and were not served a drink at 21:00 outside with no good reason given. so much for a rooftop with a view.

Unfortunately, you have to order alcoholic drinks from peak times or leave the bar after 15 minutes. You can't order cola or water, I don't think that's good. The mojito virgin tastes like bubble gum and is only made with syrup.

Employees will try to persuade you to order alcoholic drinks at peak times or to leave the bar after 15 minutes. That's not possible! Please sort this out as quickly as possible. Thank you.

The waiter only speaks English and brought us the bill after we didn't want a third order and set up a second table. He basically threw us out. This extremely unfriendly service spoiled our evening.

I met a friend for a drink and we went to this terrace. We ordered something to drink and nothing to eat. The view from the terrace is very good, it is worth it. I think the price range is average, but they invited me so I'm not very clear. If I remember correctly, a beer was about 6 CHF approx. What I have to say is that the staff is a bit annoying. They asked my friend two or three times if she wanted another beer, and well, I think asking once is correct, but so much insistence seemed a bit tiresome to me.

Amazing rooftop restaurant and bar experience! Going here at sunset was lovely and they have a fine mist over the balcony in case it gets too hot.

Really nice view and lux atmosphere. Only one disadvantage is the long waiting line outside at the hotel entrance. But if you book in advance you avoid this problem. Recommend this place, especially during golden hours.

Very nice location, friendly service, good drinks. The only drawback is that there is only one women's toilet where women have to wait in line for their turn.

We had dinner there on Friday 08/18/2023. Nice establishment, great terrace. Our dishes were very good (the vegetables fresh and very well cooked & the meat too). On the other hand, the strange service, as soon as you are seated you have to order quickly, I had to order before my friend and I received my cocktails on the table before her. ! Forced tip! Addition 93CHF, we give a 100CHF note, the waiter offered to leave the rest for his tip, with insistence, since he offered it to us 3 times... Uncomfortable, I accepted, but I regret it, because the approach is not elegant. Especially since he rushed us for the order and did nothing more than his basic job.

Despite on the fact I really like this place for atmosphere and vibes, amazing cocktails, the food might be better. I’ve ordered a Caesar salad which was made from soya/artificial meat from the coop. And I even could recognise that this specific soya meat, which is not even the best one, a lot of fat and low proteins - yes I’ve checked its Ingredients on the package in coop. Better to use a real chicken or at least better soya/artificial meat, which also coop has but it costs a bit more.

The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered Thai curry, pad Thai, sushi, and the beef ribs. These are must try dishes. The service was excellent .

Loved this place. The city view from here is incredible. I asked for a mini burguer starter and it was delicious. The coctels were also good. The only thing is that it’s always so fullllll. But for the view and the vibe, the wait worth it.

Food was delicious but cocktails were disappointment; full of syrup and the presentation was bland. We went there when it was rainy outside and we set inside. It was noisy.

Good food. POOR SERVICE ! We had reserved in advance. The waiter was stressed to send us out quickly. The waiter tried to collect the bill from us without showing us the list of the bill and tried to charge us 27 francs extra for him. Fortunately we asked for the detailed list and asked to pay the correct amount. PAY ATTENTION!
