Nice location, good toilet with child seat. Customers' requests for a smaller portion were not taken into account. Instead, after paying with a tip, I was attacked as a customer and was not eaten. Sorry, I said we would like a small portion because it is for the child. As a customer, I don't have to let the staff lecture me about something I can't do anything about.

Now, a few hours later, I have to confirm the first impression... the sauce was very heavy, it hangs in the stomach. First impression, deliciously creamy and fresh pasta. But then a few disappointments creep in... Plate cold, sauce very salty bouillon dominant... The fresh pasta is a plus, but otherwise ... a few details could be better.

Nice personel. Fast service. No unnecessary chicness. Hot, delicious pasta (Tagliatelle Rossini) served inert for 5-10 minutes. Portion OK. Price correct. Location of the restaurant is great. There are parking garages nearby. Always my pleasure :)

We were here for dinner with a large group. Starters and main courses were okay, but nothing special. The dessert, however, was a big disappointment. It was served on the exact same plate as the starters and was 3/4 empty, no decoration or anything. The sorbet itself tasted terrible. The service also left a lot to be desired, because suddenly our glasses were simply put away without new ones being brought. In general, the price-performance ratio is not okay.

The service, at least today, is incompetent and chaotic. We were constantly annoyed by this during our visit. Orders are not taken in the order in which guests arrive, we had to ask to be able to order. (Thursday lunchtime, relatively few guests) When we first ordered we didn't receive any drinks, when we asked we didn't know what we had ordered and we waited another 10 minutes. Another table already had food but no drinks. Each of us received our food 10 minutes apart. Waiting time for food and especially pizza was rather long, not according to order and the taste couldn't save it either. Too bad it used to be better.

We wanted to have lunch at 11 a.m. because we had an appointment in the afternoon and didn't want any stress. We were sent away from the Dieci am See restaurant, even though the homepage said it was open from 9 a.m. We were warmly welcomed and looked after here! The pizza was perfect! Crispy, fresh, not hard, tasty, awesome!!! Special requests were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction! Top! Highly recommended.

On Sunday July 16th, 2023 I was there with my family, unfortunately very bad service. The menu card was brought to us but unfortunately no one ever came to take the order. We waited 15-20 minutes and after that it got too much for us and we left. Not even the drink was brought once and that last time. Very disappointed Fg jasharaj

Schnitzel fries with vegetables, my schnitzel tasted like cardboard and my fries were over-salted and lumpy, the vegetables were burnt and not cooked enough. The waiters were all overwhelmed, spoke almost no German and swapped our salad. The drinks were good. The price was too high for such a bad evening. Every stranger I knock on the door can cook better than at Rossini. I don't know any chefs or good hobby chefs.

The food was delicious and on the table in a reasonable time. Can't complain. The staff seemed a bit uncoordinated. Even after Corona, the prices still seem overpriced to me.

The food was OK. We were served by the managing director herself, which behavior in the catering industry is not appropriate in my opinion. She was very unfriendly, in the end we couldn't eat everything, so we asked her to pack the food we wanted to take with us. WE WAS ALLOWED TO PACK IT UP OURSELVES AT THE FINAL. You can eat in better places in Rapperswil!!!!

The staff was very stressed and very unfriendly, and since there were a lot of people on a sunny day, there was a lack of staff. We ordered a Coupe Romanof, it didn't arrive for a long time and when it did arrive the ice was half melted and the strawberries just had an artificial taste. So the coupe was not beautifully presented and it costs 16.50 francs. I expect a little more for this post. Certain guests had to wait about 10 minutes for their order. A no go for me. Therefore, I will never visit the expensive restaurant again! A pity.

In my opinion, ice cream is overpriced at CHF 4 per scoop because the portions are rather small and the ice cream tastes a bit watery. It's also a shame that you can only pay in cash.

Extremely bad service. The service employee pretended to be a bar owner and was extremely disrespectful, arrogant and unfriendly. Unfortunately, she also speaks German poorly. I'll never set foot in this restaurant again! Find friendly and likeable serving daughters, you will benefit from that 🫠

Amazing food great house wine for small drink with lovely mussels and meat for main course

From the very beginning the staff was extremely attentive, nice and caring. From risotto, to pasta and pizza, every dish was delicious. To end the amazing lunch we had one of the best tiramisu I have ever had. If you visit Rapperswil, come to Rossini.

The food itself was good. But 5 giant shrimps for fajitas is clearly not enough, especially for this price. The waiter was very unfriendly and wanted to get rid of us quickly. We found the ambience and service to be impersonal, we didn't really feel welcome even though there were no other guests in the restaurant (in the afternoon). A carton of beer only contains 2.5 dl and is still more expensive than 3 dl in bars on the lake.

Great place for a family dinner or just an afternoon coffee and cake. Fantastic gelato and cakes made inhouse.

Mulled wine was very good, everything else (service, ambience) could be improved.

Coup Denmark. In short: It was coarse. The vanilla ice cream did not taste like vanilla at all. The consistence seemed somehow old looking. I paid for three scoops but the amount in the bowl was more like two scoops, then with an insane amount of whipped cream, not very fresh looking also, filling about half of the bowl, you could nearly not find the ice cream below it. Chocolate sauce was already poured over the cream and some (too many) old looking and bad tasting chocolate "coins" where mixed in too. 15 CHF very expensive for a badly made dessert.

Food OK so far. Staff friendly. However, there was a small piece of bone in the meat on the pizza. It can happen. But what disappointed me is the fact that there wasn't even an apology. Only comment: I have to say kitchen, they have to be careful. I think a simple one: I'm sorry, that would have been entirely appropriate.

We visited it today with our baby. The very kind waitress opened a part of the restaurant for us that was closed only for breastfeeding the baby. The bathroom was very clean and suitable for changing the baby. Thank you see you soon

Very good, the mussels were delicious, friendly and friendly waiters. On the other hand, the plastic bottle of water served in a carafe (which can easily be confused with tap water) at CHF 9.50 (compared to CHF 4 for tap water) really gives the feeling of a scam.

It's been a long time since I've been served and eaten so well. They are super friendly and spontaneous. Spaghetti all Vongole at its best, I felt like I was with Nonna! Food arrived within a few minutes even though it was a lakeside festival.

Went to Rossini today and ordered Farfalle, which were way too hard and didn't taste good. My companion had Gnocchi Rossini, which you also couldn't eat because it had way too much nutmeg in it. Never come back!

Good restaurant, very attentive and friendly service. Prices are very normal for Swiss standards, desserts are a bit more expensive. Mussels were great, but the perch with mushrooms had too much liquid and was therefore not great. Visited in June 2022.

It was very busy, so there were long waiting times. And as a result, the overview was sometimes lost, so guests who arrived later were served first and others had to wait longer. The waiter radiated calm. The waitresses were hesitant and spoiled the mood a bit. The food was good and the service was otherwise friendly!

The “spaghetti ice cream” wasn’t one. It was without the cream underneath and there was no vanilla ice cream. As an alternative, I chose strawberry ice cream, which tasted like frozen sugar water with flavors and colors. (ice cream stand in front) The service was nice.

Today we went to the Rossini restaurant. It was our little daughter's birthday, so we wanted to do something nice for her. The house specialty Penne Rossini was very bad. 1. The penne was still hard. 2. The veal was tough and 3. The sauce was anything but a tomato cream sauce. The staff didn't take us seriously. Simply account for everything and collect. EVEN THOUGH we didn't eat it and complained about it relatively quickly!! I find this a shame, almost worse than the food. I will never visit this restaurant again and, as a citizen living in Rapperswil, I will definitely not advertise this restaurant positively.

Wow, unbelievable. It was our first time at Restaurant Rossini and definitely our last time! We ordered a Coupe Denmark for 15.50 CHF, the desserts looked great in the pictures on the menu. When we saw the portion, we kindly pointed out the size to the staff and asked if the portion was correct. We never got an answer. Afterwards the staff at the counter gossiped about our table - just no go! Finally, when paying, we pointed this out to the staff again, but to no avail. CONCLUSION: NEVER AGAIN... So I can only confirm the previous recession.

Spaghetti too hard (not al dente) and too fatty. Far too big a map. No recommendation.

Poor quality and outrageous prices. 5.50 for a scoop of ice cream… vanilla ice cream tasted artificial, no vanilla recognizable. There were frozen chunks of water in the cafe ice cream. Never ever again...

The service was really bad. Our family received the main meal 30 minutes apart!!! We would like to eat together, so I'll go to a restaurant. In addition, the shrimps were overcooked and you could eat the rest of the food, but it wasn't really that great. With that in mind, we won't be visiting the restaurant again - there are much better ones here in Rapperswil.

The house wine is not recommended

These were, without exaggeration, the worst fajitas of my life. I took vegetarian fajitas and the vegetables were a whitish yellow mush and we don't even have to talk about spices. There was also a kind of side salad with a few thrown corn kernels, 2 lettuce leaves and something else. I'm generally not a particularly critical restaurant goer, but I think I'll avoid this restaurant for the rest of my life. My feedback went uncommented by the waitress.

Not recommendable. Although there is a large selection and very nice service, the quantity is too small for the price. The Brazilian chicken was undercooked and the diverse fitness plate was so oily that any sardine could be eaten... Pizza tasted good but was soggy. The plate of shrimp that came out of the oven was so cold that you had to hurry to eat it while it was still warm...

Price / performance is not right, far too expensive, e.g. small, boring Nüsslisslat (champinions soggy) for CHF 16.50 - impudence.

Pizza tastes good but the consistency of dough and mozzarella is questionable. 3/10. Good value for money. In line with the costs of a place by the lake. Courteous, friendly and competent staff. We ate on the patio facing the street, and we ate well: 2 ounces of chicken breast with three different flavored butters. Crispy chips and good coffee.
