I booked for a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It wasn't my first time here but what makes me come back is the courtesy and professionalism of Mattia and the two girls working in the bar. They are always on top of things and are keen to explain both the food and wine on their list, which is not the ordinary distant and cold approach of many bars in Geneva. I ordered a lobster roll, which I found delicious. The wine list is absolutely excellent, you can find plenty of French natural wine across regions and appellations alongside the best expressions of Italian natural wine. Couldn't recommend it more for a long apéro with friends or colleagues until late in the evening. Bravo 👏👏👏

Nice food and drinks, but loud.

Super expensive for sharing boards where charcuterie and cheese are served in very small quantities... The best part is the nice and trendy atmosphere.

I love going to this bar because it always has a vibrant energy (yes, it’s maybe a bit loud but that’s part of the vibe). In addition to this the wine is good, and after trying the food yesterday for the first time, I can also attest that the food is very delicious and they have creative dishes. My favourite is the chocolate mousse dessert with caramelised peanuts. Finally, the service is very friendly and patient, which makes it a great experience overall.

I regularly have the pleasure of dining or simply having drinks at Sauvage. Mattia and his staff truly excel in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their attentiveness to their clients' needs is exceptional, making every guest feel special. The menu is a testament to Mattia's dedication to high-quality ingredients and culinary innovation. La carte is regularly updated with fresh, seasonal products and exciting suggestions, besides having an extensive wines and spirits variety. If you're looking for a charming place where impeccable service meets an ever-evolving menu of delicious dishes and quality drinks, Sauvage is the place to be.

Best Bar in Geneva. Excellent atmosphere with exceptional food! The service is also amazing. Everything is supervised by Mattia, the manager and real added value of Sauvage!! I highly recommend!

The service is disastrous. I have personally never been served by a team of waitresses who are only waitresses in name! A word to the wise.

I had a traditional Thursday aperitif there with friends, I had been told a lot about the address and I had never taken the time to go there. It’s done, we had a great time with my friends, the service was great! However, I find the prices absurd (and I am from Geneva). 27.- for a plate with 3/4 slices of cheese (and a tiny piece of blue cheese) and a few pieces of cold meats, I have experienced more generous for this price. The same goes for the quantity of bread, we had to ask for more several times to have a reasonable quantity for my friends and I. The cocktails are very good and the atmosphere very nice, but I certainly wouldn't come back. When I go out I want to get my money's worth anyway.

For older people...very British! Without me too

Their cocktails are to die for. At the top, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly. The kitchen too. We had a great time.

I had a steak with arugula and parmesan, delicious. Perfect cooking. Very very good selection of wines and helpful staff. I didn't like the atmosphere before (I found the interior a little cold) but everything else makes up for it.

Food is quite expensive even for Geneva standards, CHF27 for few slices of cheese

trendy place in the heart of Eaux-vives, small menu constantly changing with the seasons, good choice of wine, particularly organic, succulent dishes to share with friends or colleagues when leaving the office, smiling and competent staff, the only downside is the hubbub constant voices but that's what it takes to keep this chic, trendy place alive, price in relation...

Disappointing, plate of cheese much too expensive for 8 ends fighting a duel, staff who thought we were their friends by calling us informally, too bad.

Very extensive wine list, a few alcoholic cocktails but unfortunately too few non-alcoholic alternatives. Too bad, I won't come back.

A great discovery across Eaux Vives of Geneva… it wasn’t a coincidence, it was recommended ! The service and staff friendliness is remarkable, the cocktails are tasty yet with a twist, the food is delicious and refined! Very well located, will definitely pass by again very soon! Highly recommended (the photos are not up to the real thing!)

Tasty local products prepared simply but with a lot of care. Great wines (including biodynamic ones) from Switzerland and beyond but also refreshing cocktails (can only recommend the Forêt & Tonic). Dimmed lights and an interior design that differs from your typical tapas bar. RECOMMENDED FOR: Afterwork drinks and light bites, in small groups or with your special one.

Best wine bar in town. Friendly and professional staff. Don’t hesitate to ask Mattia for undercover bottles and newest arrivals, even if the list evolves on weekly basis - as for the food, still on the top of local seasonal products.
