I definitely prefer this place over the foodmarket. I never had any issues asking for a bigger portion and/or a refill. Food quality is awesome for the price. Edit: They got super-friendly this year. Definitely another plus. Edit 2: above review is still true for 2024 / super-friendly, and when asking for a bigger portion you DO get a bigger portion :))

Fusion should have a five stare rating. I don’t know how much better it can get for a university Mensa. It’s delicious and has nice healthy options!

One of the best places to eat at ETH Hönggerberg Campus. Big variety of high quality and delicious food. There is always also a vegan and vegi option. Combined with the very friendly staff this is a highly recommendable place.

Always very friendly and attentive staff who lift your spirits. The food is always good and the prices are very fair in times of inflation.

Lots of people there to prepare loveless food that is absolutely overpriced. Sustainability means making food that you eat and not ending up in the waste :-(

Delicious cafeteria and a good alternative to the FoodMarket. It would be good if customers could also be offered food at Recircle directly. The portion size is good and fair for the price.

Definitively the worst food offer of ETH/USZ mensa.

Vegetarian always good, meat menu cheeky. Since the other cafeteria was closed due to Corona, the meat menu has become more expensive (from 6.20 to 7.90). Go vegetarian if you want to feel full.

By far the worst cafeteria in Zurich's universities. Too expensive, portions too small, some employees very unfriendly. The only good thing was the All You Can Eat buffet before it was closed due to Corona.

The portions are far too small and the staff reacts unfriendly when you ask for a slightly larger portion.

The canteen on Hönggerberg with the highest prices, the smallest portion and the same food quality as the other canteens. There is a buffet but the food choice is basically the left over's from the standard menus and thus not that great. The service handing out the menu's could work in a military canteen - they are really unfriendly. On noon way too full.

A ripoff for anyone who is not a student. Even employees have to pay 10 Franks for what amounts to a cup of flavored rice.

It is more expensiven than the University mensas in the center, but the best at hönggerberg. They let you get an free extra portion after you are done. They usually dont check your legi here, so even if you dont have one amd you look somewhat young youll get your meal for 6.20ChF. They have to speed up the place were you return your tray. that takes for ever....

Fusion for me is a mixed experience. There aren't many places to eat on campus, so I go here once a week if not more. I usually go to the salad section, which is generally disappointing. A lot of the vegetables are adulterated, when what I want is plain, fresh veg. The other cooked items on the top level aren't always labeled correctly. It's mostly vegetarian, but then the second level has meat and vegetarian. There is a vegetarian daily meal, which can be okay. It's really crowded around noon, and later in the service the food is pretty picked over.

Good to cover your basic needs away from everything.

They sent me twice to the hospital in two years. I have severe food allergies so I need to check with the staff with everything I eat. On two occasions in the past two years they said I could eat something with out actually checking the ingredients and I ended up in the ambulance because of their mistake. I've learned my lesson and will never eat here again.

It can get pretty crowded during the semester, but the food is OK.

Huge place, but still quite crowed. Food-wise, it's quite a normal mensa.
