I discovered this Chinese restaurant on New Year’s Eve. The welcome was warm and professional, completely pleasant even though the establishment was crowded. We opted for the menu which was very tempting. The starters were very good as well as the Peking duck with the pancakes that accompanied it. We were already full with these first dishes. A very generous menu. The lobster and crispy beef were good but we weren't blown away. The accompanying people were very well prepared and served accordingly. I will go back there to have a la carte dishes to form an opinion off the menu. A good place to eat Chinese in the Bussigny district. Very convenient if you are traveling by train the station is 1 minute away on foot.

We weren't expecting much as the restaurant was one of the very few open on the 1st January. We were pleasantly surprised by authentic Chinese food with great service at a great price.

Food too salty and too sweet, the value for money is not good especially with such small portions. It may not suit the locals but if you are used to Chinese food, go elsewhere.

Apparently, I was not welcome, my dishes were served to me on the next table and the plate was not even placed right in front of me. The dishes are too salty for my taste, although locals might like it. For the price, it's frankly not affordable in terms of quality/price.

After seeing the crispy beef mentioned four times (on the daily menu outside, twice in the menu and in the reviews here) I had to try it and I was not disappointed! I've also liked the decor.

Lovely family restaurant near the Bussigny train station with delicious dim sum and main meals. We had the fried noodles and sweet crispy beef - so good we had seconds! Friendly staff as well as a cozy interior, with some tables outdoors on the terrace as well.

Food is absolutely delicious, good amount too. I recommend the sweet and sour prawns and the crispy beef. We love it!

Wow! I thought I wouldn't find Chinese takeaway in Switzerland to rival my old local place in England, I was wrong. My favourite dish, crispy beef, came gloriously sticky, full of subtle flavours with an addictive spicy kick. The whole meal especially the meat was a level of quality above the usual UK takeaway experience. I'm so happy to find this place so close to my apartment. I'll be back, many times! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The start of the service was a little complicated (the waitress jumped on us, because we were still up for the aperitif, then forgot the order) then the friendly service. You shouldn't ask too much about the decoration of the plates but the most important thing is that it was extremely good because it was homemade. We would happily go back

Je viens souvent dans ce restaurant qui est certainement le meilleur restaurant chinois jamais goûté dans ma vie. La carte est très varié avec des plats délicieux pour tous les goûts (viande, crevettes, plats végétariens). Très beaux les plats propretés à table sur des ardoises. Sublime et délicieux!L'accueil de la part de la patronne et des employés est toujours chaleureux et aux petits soins. Parfait pour les enfants et pour des repas en famille.

Le porc aux 5 épices est exceptionnel, à ne rater sous aucun prétexte ! Rouleaux de printemps excellents, frais avec pâte ultra-fine et croustillante, ravioli aux noix de St-Jacques avec sauce divine. La cuisine est irréprochable et affiche une sacrée maîtrise, le service est parfait, la surface est assez grande pour que les tables soient bien espacées et la déco est originalement chinoise. Vin du mois excellent à moins de 40 francs. Bref, moi j’y retourne !

I didn't really like it. There was very little takeaway food for the price, which was too expensive... we took beef with red curry, we didn't smell the curry. Damage. Sorry for the restaurant but expensive trio too little in the dishes.

Nous sommes installés à la terrasse de ces restaurant chinois pour déjeuner en famille. Pas tous les plats vu sur le net figurent sur le menu papier, par ex le très bon plat Ma Po Tofu non plébiscité par les européens . Les entrées chaudes sont bonnes, les plats de légumes sautés bons, ainsi que les plats de crevettes . Le service est attentionné, sympathique. Préférer la terrasse calme et ombragé par beau temps. Le décor du restaurant est semblable à d'autres restos chinois, avec une ambiance "bleue" et non rouge . Il y a aussi un plat du jour ainsi qu'un service "Take Away". Dans l'ensemble, un bon restaurant qui essaie de satisfaire sa clientèle. A essayer.

Great restaurant, out of the way but 10 minutes from Lausanne. The setting is pretty, well received, very kind staff and excellent service. The menu contains some lovely specialties, such as 3-course Peking duck, to be reserved 24 hours in advance. We tried the beef with pepper sauce and the beef griddle. The meat is tender. The 2 very different sauces but excellent and rather spicy for the griddle. Very tasty. Served with good noodles. Excellent and highly recommended for lovers of Chinese cuisine.

Mittagsmenüs um 65 - 70 CHF pro Person / Einzelgerichte um 25 CHF. Auch wenn die Qualität großartig ist (knusprige Ente nach Peking - Art ist schön knusprig! Und saftig), ist das super teuer!

To my taste, one of my favourite Chinese in the neighborhood

Shanghai Garden was my best experience of Chinese cuisine in Lausanne. The taste is authentic and a beautiful balance of spices. I tried hot sour soup, chicken samosa, Griddle chicken and shrimps with mixed spices. It was soul satisfying to finally find an authentic Chinese cuisine. The spice level can be adjusted to your taste. The main cou2ia served with a choice of plain rice, noodles or fried rice. If you want Chinese in Lausanne, this is the place to be.

Wir bestellten dort zum Mitnehmen in der Hoffnung, ein entspannendes Abendessen am Sonntag zu Hause zu haben. Leider war das Essen sehr enttäuschend. Die Ente war so alt, trocken und zäh, dass sie einige Tage lang mehrmals im Ofen vorgewärmt schien und so ausgetrocknet war, dass man sie nicht mehr essen konnte. Der Preis 28 CHF. Der Rest der Gerichte waren durchschnittlich. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel nicht und wir werden nie wiederkommen.
