I placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. When I arrived, he complained that I ordered through Uber Eats because of the deductions he receives, even though I found him through that. He then wanted me to cancel my order on the app and pay him again. I didn't understand him very well either and I think it's a shame to treat a customer like that. Well, the food wasn't really good either. The taste as well as the packaging. Samosas were very very greasy, my stomach definitely had trouble. I'm not coming back.

Recent visit this place was disappointing. Ordered mutter paneer with garlic naan, but both dishes tasted amateurishly prepared. It may suit people unfamiliar with this cuisine. Flavors lacked the depth of authentic Indian cuisine, and the tasted poorly. Definitely the prices were high considering the poor quality and taste. Overall, didn't meet expectation for genuine Indian food.

We read the good reviews and were excited to try this place. But unfortunately we couldn't taste any spice flavors surprisingly, and those curries did not taste like curry... For example, the chicken masala tasted like simple tomato sauce (the chicken was very good though).. I felt bad but I added curry powder in my curry even I usually don't like heavy or strong taste. If you like simple healthy taste, you will like it here.

I was late at lunch once and gave this Indian a try, even though the reviews made me a bit suspicious. But that it would be so bad... The take-away meal took place in a corner of the poor restaurant (street food feeling) and took a very long time. Rice (logical) and two vegetarian side dishes ended up on the plate, quite overcooked and boringly seasoned. The portion: quite large, that's for sure. And the price: an incredible 26 francs. At my favorite Pakistani in District 6, you get rice with four side dishes, varied and cleverly seasoned, for 13 (vegetarian) or 15 (meat) francs. What kind of business model is that supposed to be?!?

A nice Indian restaurant run by a Sikh couple. Dishes on the menu are from North India. Seating is slightly limited inside if you are a large group, then you will need to split between tables of 4 or max 6. I found the service to be ok. Being an Indian was looking at recommendations on what they do best but it kinda was all over the place. The food on the other hand was prepared fresh. The phulkas were very soft and good for a cold Zurich evening but at the same time one of the most expensive ones I have ever had at CHF 4 for a single small phulka (CHF 3 would have been perfect since you end up ordering a lot).

The food is really good, the service is lovely and portions are quite big – very recommended :)

Went there with my wife on August 12th. As per our order elderly Sardarji served us freshly cooked matar paneer and 7 tawa rotis. Total order cost was a bit pricey at 47 CHF. There was a young guy (I think his son/grandson) who seemed a bit rude. When I asked for water he said you can take bottles from the fridge. I said I need plain water. To this he rudely replied "Wo ni dette" ("We don't serve that") turned back and went away. I mean come on, Zurich's tap water is drinkable and it wouldn't cost you money to serve some if specially asked by someone and that too by a co-countryman. Whatever happened to our Indian Hospitality. Anyways since the food was good and we wanted to have indian food and another nearby indian restaurant didn't serve Tawa Roti so we came here on the second day too(August 13th). We had just returned from Engelberg with our bagpacks so We had our own water bottle with us this time. After taking order, The older gentleman Sardarji suddenly came and rudely said "Apna Paani peena allowed nahi hai".("You are not allowed to drink your own water here") I just asked normally "I am not even allowed to drink water from my own bottle?" Sardarji rudely fired back "Ab aise to apna khana bhi laake khaane lag jaaoge yahan". ("Likewise you will also bring your own food here to eat") I was like what the hell? Is there no difference between food and water? And why be so rude? Someone visited your restaurant consecutively on second day No hello, No courtesy, nothing and you are stopping him to drink water even from his own bottle. Not even posh restaurants in Paris, Zurich or Milan do that. No wonder this restaurant remained empty most of the time when we passed by during the coarse of our 3 day stay in Zurich.

Awesome Food. I am regular to this place with family and with colleagues. Baingan Bartha, Paneer Burji & Roti/Nan are simply excellent. Mr. Singh is a very nice person, willing to accommodate to your specifics. A spicy Baingan Bartha is a dish I highly recommend. I never got bored frequently going to Mr. Singh's Restaurant.
