sehr nette bedienung, aber das sushi war richtig schlecht. viel zu viel reis und was man noch vom fisch geschmeckt hat war nicht gut.

Mir persönlich hat die Sushi überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, keinen Geschmack und ebenfalls zuviel Reis.

Great restaurant! Really tasty sushi and awesome service. Definitely recommend it! I used to go to the physical restaurant often before Corona. Very cosy atmosphere. I was at a friend's place today and we ordered takeout. The restaurant delivered the wrong order, but as soon as we called them, they not only immediately fixed it, but also attached a very kind and cute apology note. 😊 Props for the very nice service.

I think the fish and the soy sauce were rotten. I hope I don't feel sick tomorrow. I am very disappointed. We paid quite a lot for it.

This is the second time I am ordering delivery from Shinsen, the first time was absolutely incredible but this time very very disappointing, sushi was bland, not evenly filled up and included ends of the rolls, I got dark soy sauce and old pickled ginger with it, very very disappointed as it isn't the cheapest place and I order from here only because I knew it was a very good quality....

We ordered a large sushi plate for several people for take away. All eaters said it was very tasty (fresh ingredients). On top, we liked the very friendly service. Cozy location - we hope one day to be able to dine in. Will for sure repeat the take away. Better than some other pretentious (and more expensive) sushi places.

Ate at this restaurant today, 06.11.2020 and I have to say it was really unpleasant. The food had no taste, none! I got udon with spinach, was like it was water from the tap with udon (8 pieces) thrown in and a ton of spinach. Sushi also, nothing wow at all. Really sorry but I won’t come back ... we were very disappointed.

Am Eingang wären wir fast vorbei gelaufen. Die Nummerierung am Gebäude ist eigenwillig. Sehr nüchtern eingerichtet, viel Sichtbeton. Die Vorspeisen in Ordnung, aber feine  Flußkrebse, frittiert, mit Chili Mayonäse passen nicht so recht zusammen. Das Lachs Tatar mit pikanter Sauce lecker. Das Sushi ist ok, der Reis kaum abgeschmeckt, die chinesische Sojasauce passt vom Geschmack her nicht so recht dazu.Es gibt attraktivere japanische Restaurants.

Ich bin etwas enttäuscht von dem Essen. Wir essen dort und erwarten ein schönes japanisches Essen. Wir haben Ebi tempura direkt aus dem Kühlschrank... nicht empfohlen. Die Reste des Speises waren mehr oder weniger gleich (direkt vom Kühlschrank) außer der Misosuppe.. das war wirklich schön. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sehr sauber

Nice small cozy place. Good variety of Japanese food (mostly, but not only, sushi & sashimi). Quality of my salmon / tuna bento box was ok, but nothing exceptional (particularly, the tuna tartare was a bit bland and the consistency of the rice was a bit too sticky, probably slightly overcooked). Medium price range (compared to similar restaurants in Zurich)

Very delicious! I ordered a bowl of Udon noodles, but didn't realise it had dashi broth in it (I'm extremely sensitive to fish), so I gave it to my friend instead. The waitress noticed and brought me a plate of vegan Gyoza! Incredibly kind staff and a lovely atmosphere!

I went to this place because they do vegan sushis. It was out of my way but I still went far to get them and they messed up my order and gave me non-vegan sushis instead of my vegan ones so I ended up not have enough for myself. Moreover, I wrote to them directly but they did not even reply. I cannot recommend them because of their lack of customer service.

The Takeaway sushi was not comparable to other place in Zurich. Rice was over cooked and mushy for that reason only 3 stars. Better go to Yoojis.

Habe bei Shinsen eine Reis-Bowl Veggie bestellt. War sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr frische Produkte und geschmackvoll. Mit Liebe zubereitet. Lieferung absolut pünktlich und unkompliziert. Preis / Leistung inkl. Lieferung absolut fair. Für mich persönlich eher für den kleineren Hunger geeignet.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Tolles Essen und sehr nettes Personal.

One of the best sushis in Zurich

In der nähe der Shoppingmeile Sihlcity ist es nicht ganz so Central für Zürich aber sicherlich einen Besuch wert, wenn man mal Asiatisch Essen gehen möchte. Richtig gute Gerichte. Aber achtung! Am mittag oft überfüllt uns schwirig einen Platz zu finden, da Mitarbeiter der Firmen rundum dort lunchen. Wenn man glücklich ist und ein Platz frei ist kann man sich auf exotisches leckeres Mal freuen.

Ein verstecktes Sushi Restaurant welches wir nur per Zufall entdeckt haben. Die Shinsen Küche beliefert die grossen Supermärkte in der Schweiz und bietet ein kleines aber feines Lokal im Fabrikgelände Jeden Monat verköstigt das Restaurant ihre Gäste mit einem neuen Special. Die japanischen Gerichte von Sushi über Udon Suppen bis zu Reis-Desserts sind immer super lecker. Auch die lockere Atmosphäre lädt auf einen Besuch ein, welcher wir auch gerne als Familie wahr genommen haben.

This is very, very hidden and so I was surprised to see how popular it is. There is seating outside and it is relatively small inside but excellent service and good food. I loved the starter of fried aubergines with miso dressing. Will definitely go again.

This restaurant is kinda hidden but seems to be very popular. It was full inside but the service was fast. I had gyoza as starter - it was perfect. Nice texture on the outisde and soft and yummy filling on the inside. After that I had sushi, which were made with good quality ingreditents. The price is quite high for the amount of food that I got, but good japanese food in Zurich is generally expensive. At the end I addtitionally ordered vietnamese springrolls but they actually served vietnamese summer rolls. Please change the name on the menu. I can also give you additional feedback to those rolls

Dieses kleine Japanische Restaurant war äusserst angenehm von der Location her und hatte ein super freundlicher Service. Das Essen war sehr frisch und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Dieses Restaurant ist auch für Paare oder Dates zu empfehlen, da es nicht all zu laut ist und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut stimmt. Grossartiges Restaurant!

Lokal spartanisch eingerichtet, aber sehr o.k. Bedienung war soweit auch ganz in Ordung. Mein Essen dafür sehr schmackhaft. Yummy yum...Gut so.

....teilweise sehr unfair! Klar ist das Lokal klein und befindet sich hinter einer Produktionslinie! Aber: Der Fisch ist von bester Qualität. Frischer geht nicht und die Preise für Zürich sehr fair!!! Also nicht abschrecken lassen von ahnungslosen Bewertern und ausprobieren! Das Tartar ist ein übrigens Gedicht!!!

Im Shinsen findet man sehr köstliche Gerichte, authentisch zubereitet. Trotz der Sushiproduktion nebenan ein sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Lokal mit freundlicher Bedienung. Unter der Woche (noch) nicht so gefüllt wie die bekannteren Ketten. Sashimi kann ich absolut empfehlen!

Das Essen schmeckte heute leider gar nicht gut, im Gegensatz zu früher. Der Reis war pampig und schmeckte einfach nicht gut. Auch das Sushi war ungeniessbar. Auf unsere Bemerkung wurde behauptet, das muss so sein und es wurde angedeutet, dass wir keine Ahnung hätten. Bei den doch eher gehobenen Preisen finde ich das inakzeptabel.

Authentisches und feines japanisches Essen!

Eine sehr gute Alternative, gutes Essen und faire Preise. Das Restaurant selbst ist etwas klein, aber man kann bestellen und mitnehmen.

This is essentially a grocery store sushi factory with a seating area. so if you've ever had sushi from a grocery store this is where it was made.so as you can assume it's just like that but super fresh but still not great. if you want anything like a hand roll they can't do it because that's not the type of sushi they make. It was cool to see the kitchen but I wouldn't go here for the sushi.

A bit on the expensive side. I would recommend sashimi over sushi, to avoid the advocado/veggie-based sushis, especially since the fish is pretty fresh and tasty.

Pleasant eating experience, settings is intimate and nice, some dishes were very nice and fresh such as the Tuna rice bowl, however we found the rice of the sushi too soft and humid, the kingfish carpaccio had a bit surprising combinations of taste and fish was just relatively fresh. Price is decent and service very nice.

Das Restaurante ist supper. Klein unscheinbar allerdings ist das Essen wirklich für Geniesser gemacht. Einwandfreie Qualität. Leider ist das Restaurant zwisch dem Giesshübel und Sihlcity versteckt. Den dieses Resturant verdient die beste Lage von Zürich! Kommt und geniesst die wunderbare Speisekarte.

La comida es buena. Por desgracia tomaron curry y hamburguesas el menú, así que principalmente Sushi mantiene. Sushi lleva siempre muy largo y el servicio es disponible como camarera nunca debe ayudar en la citchen también. Esto no es una buena solución y la optimización de la madera necesita. Nos sorprendió ver que el personal de cocina italiana y asiática no parecía. Lo que era muy extraño, era, que indded el personal citchen primero a sus amigos y compañeros de trabajo antes de los clientes. Debemos esperar mucho tiempo una y otra vez cuando estuvimos allí. La camarera fue muy amable pero debido a la falta de colaboración de los colegas de cocina totalmente sobrecargado con el trabajo. En general debemos decir que vamos a menos y menos como la variedad y la calidad de la comida del día. También que no estamos dispuestos a esperar por la comida cada vez tanto tiempo.

Das Shinsen ist mehr als ein Sushi-Restaurant: es gibt hier authentische japanische Küche die über Sushi hinaus geht: insbesondere zu empfehlen ist der “Flusskrebs Tempura“. Das Restaurant ist klein aber schön eingerichtet, das Personal freundlich und durch eine Glaswand kann die dahinter liegende Sushi-Produktion für die ganze Schweiz beobachtet werden - ein super Erlebnis!

Die Shushis waren wirklich qualitativ sehr gut. Das lokal hat mich enttäuscht, nicht wirklich gemütlich, viele Leute und Kuriere die ständig Takeaways abholen...den Charm und das Japanische Flair sucht man hier vergeblich. Das Personal war freundlich und immer korrekt.

Bestellte Lieferung für Sushi für zwei Personen zu unserem Hotel in der Nähe. Wir bekamen zwei Kisten, wo das Sushi mit kleinen Sojasauce-Flaschen und Wasabi-Beuteln gemischt wurde, alles übereinander, meiner Meinung nach nicht sehr hygienisch.Das Sushi wurde vor mehreren Stunden zubereitet, da der Reis sehr kompakt war, viel zu kalt und das Sushi schmeckte wirklich nicht frisch. Wir aßen jeweils 2 von ihnen und warfen den Rest weg. Es war so schlimm. Eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, für einen Preis von CHF 85. -Dies ist Sushi in Supermarkt Qualität, aber für mehr als den doppelten Preis.Würde es auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

Das Restaurant in der Nähe von Sihlcity aber versteckt. Ich mag ihre Box Teller mit Fisch Tartar und Sushi. Der Fisch schmeckt super und frisch und die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Sushi-Plätzen in Zürich recht niedrig. Das Restaurant ist immer voll, Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, besonders während des Mittagessens.

Kleiner Ort mit einem Geschmack. Shinsen bereitet eine Menge Sushi zum Mitnehmen vor und das sagt schon alles. Nichtsdestotrotz lohnt es sich, vorbeizuschauen und direkt diese Sushi Delikatessen zu probieren. Nimm deinen Schuss.

Visite guidée de l'entreprise , apprendre à faire des sushis , makis etc ....très bien conseillé et guidé par des professionnels. Tout le personnel accueillant , souriant et surtout à l'écoute , même le patron , ce qui est rare. Bravo à tous.😊👍👏 . Et bien-sûr déjeuné avec les produits confectionnés de nos propres mains...magnifique.

日本食が恋しくなり、トリップアドバイザーで探して訪れました。ビールに枝豆と焼き鳥という組み合わせで、日本の居酒屋気分が味わえました。天ぷらと、うどんも食べましたが美味しかったです。値段もお手ごろだと思います。

Waren über Mittag zu einem kurzen lunch dort. Meine kollegin kannte das restaurant schon, für mich war es neuIch schwanke zwischen einer 3er und 4er bewertung, da eine 3.5 am akuratesten wäre.Von meinen kommentaren her kann ich mich den vorangegangenen bewertern her anschliessen: gutes, solides und bezahlbares sushi aber nicht wirklich speziell. Man merkt, dass das Restaurant einfach der manufaktur angeschlossen ist. Die bento-salmon-box ist gut, ausgiebig und mit rund 35 franken im rahmen des machbaren.Da es geschmacklich nicht herausragend war, bleibt es bei einer 3er bewertung

Ich bin kein Fischliebhaber, aber auch die Gerichte ohne Fisch sind sehr gut. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Nachspeise. Reisteig gefüllt mit süssen roten Bohnen, was gewöhnungsbedürftig klingt, schmeckt umso besser.

I have not tried sushi, but Tunfischburger was OK. French fries was too salty. I heard that they produce a lot of sushi for other restaurants, so the products are always fresh
