We went to the restaurant this evening by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was inviting and clean. The food was excellent and hot, a good selection at a very good price/performance ratio. There are a large number of take-away dishes at a very good price. Thank you very much and we will come more often from now on.

The lady at the counter who claimed to be the owner was haughty and uptight. The thali that we ordered was appalling- the 3 vegetable dishes were cold temperature wise and unpalatable. The vegetable biryani was nice. We were led astray by other Google reviews and chose to dine there. Would NOT recommend.

Very good food at absolutely fair prices. The selection is different every day, so only a small menu, but the dishes are freshly prepared! The portions are large, the service is friendly and fast! We really enjoy eating there!

The food is great, and the portions are more than sufficient, even when you're hungry! They don't have all the menu items available all the time, some items get taken off, so be aware. We didn't have a lot of options, but we did go in the evening.

Great food, bit oily. The rice portion was a bit small relative to the curry. They refuse to serve tab water. Overall recommend trying it.

Today is Singh's 1 year anniversary, and now it's more casual food. I got spinach with cooked cheese (palak paneer). A real sensation... just the right spiciness for me - simply brilliant... plus the delicious samosas, also a sensation... to eat... preferably every day again :-):-):-) see you soon, hopefully there will be spinach again soon ..

Ordered a Tikka Masala via Uber Eats. The curry arrived with a thick layer of oil floating on top which I had to gently pour down the drain. This is not how a curry should be.

Delicious - really authentic punjabi food served very quickly and prepared extra spicy as requested. A good 20% or more cheaper than equivalent quality of Indian food in Basel. The naan wasn't as good as in other restaurants but the curries are terrific.

Very friendly and nicely decorated. When eating it, I missed fresh turmeric, mustard seeds, coriander and a little more garlic. Seasoned it was very flat and European. It's good that it's a little salty. Raita very good. Sharpness is good according to specifications. Lentils in dahl totally overcooked. Lots of room for improvement with a little more passion in cooking and seasoning. Then it should cost two francs more. It's not really authentic cuisine yet.
