Sky Bar Meilenstein in Langenthal

We had to wait 15 minutes before we could place the order. Then we waited another 40 minutes until the drinks came… 2 cocktails, 1 water and 1 glass of wine! the red wide was ice cold, a little cold would be okay, but not like that! We also had to wait forever to pay.

Tuesday evening, August, very hot weather. After 40 (!) minutes we were able to enjoy the first sip. Nothing before. The next morning I wrote a detailed email to the hotel describing our experience. To date (almost a week later) I have not received a response. I actually find that much worse. The bar is super nice, the atmosphere was great, the staff was very friendly and the food (vegie platter) was very good! Drinks for you too. BUT. After a whopping 25 minutes I had to wave to the waitress so we could order something. I know the time because I took a photo when we sat down. In addition to us, there were first 16, then 20 other guests present. We ordered 2 drinks, 1 vegi platter and 2 glasses of tap water. It took a full 15 minutes for us to receive the 2 drinks. The water was forgotten and only brought when asked. The meal took another 10 minutes, but that was ok. As I wrote to the hotel in the email, the staff was working and not chatting. The gentleman was mixing drinks non-stop. Unfortunately, the young lady often stood behind the counter instead of actively asking the guests whether they would like to order. We stayed until the end of the day and they didn't even ask if we wanted to order anything else. It's a shame, the place is worth a visit, the food and drinks are really good. But please point out to the staff that it cannot be the case that you will not be served until after 25 and only after requesting. Of course we could have waved or even left earlier. But we were surprised at how long we had to wait. A side tip: if it's so hot outside, it would be great to have a jug of water and glasses on every table.

We waited for 20 minutes and weren't served, the staff knew we were there! We left after that.

The atmosphere is very nice. Unfortunately it's too expensive and the people are pretty much better.

Very friendly staff, top cocktails

Very poor service and generally too expensive... I can't recommend a visit. They sat down on an old park bench with a warm can of beer and threw 10 franc notes on the ground and tadda they spent the money better. Even one star is too many for this shed!

Bad service, we waited a long time for our drinks. The staff was also very unfriendly just because we asked something. The shishas are not recommended, we couldn't smoke them because there wasn't enough coal on them and we waited a long time until they brought us coal. Very poor price performance. Not recommended!!!

Very disappointing. Very rude staff probably no motivation. Price-performance ratio doesn't match at all. You certainly don't have to order shisha. It takes an eternity for the money to arrive, even if you ask for it. Actually 1 star is way too much.

Nice bar but the staff completely overwhelmed. We waited forever for our drinks despite the bar being almost empty. You have to get the pizza you ordered from the roof terrace yourself using the elevator in the kitchen below. We had ordered a shisha and I asked twice if they were already preparing it because it took forever and nothing happened. 3 employees couldn't conjure up a shisha within 90 minutes. We paid and went to smoke the shisha somewhere else.

Beautiful view and design. Location is very charming. Cocktails are pricey and ok in taste but could be much better. Personnel is a bit arrogant but helpful. Snacks are good too

Place very nice and cozy, but please take shisha out of the range, coal is black and there are not many tobaccos and not recommended. It's the wrong place to smoke shisha.

Staff understaffed. Very long waiting times for normal drinks (iced tea, cola,...) Shishas were not served because the staff was too overwhelmed.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed this time. I reserved a week in advance. By chance, I had to call again that evening before making the reservation and was told that unfortunately my reservation had not been noted! Fortunately, this was then made up for. Unfortunately, our drinks were brought by an unmotivated waitress who unfortunately didn't even know which drink was which. The drinks were then simply placed on the table without comment. The first shisha was inedible within a few minutes because the tobacco was burned. When we asked, it was replaced, unfortunately after 20 minutes of the second Shiha we only tasted the charcoal and no more tobacco. The ambience would be great but unfortunately the service is not appropriate for this price range.

A great view and a wonderful ambience. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, but they did their job. All in all, the Skybar is definitely worth visiting!

We had to wait almost an hour for two shishas, ​​which were ultimately served with “black” coals. Additionally, unfriendly staff. Service was completely overwhelmed with around 60% customer occupancy and a simple order of 6 drinks was served incorrectly. There's nothing wrong with the ambience.
