I went there for a quick lunch. The service was amazing, the ladies there are super nice. I went for a fried gyoza starter and some nasi goreng with chicken. The food was great as well and the portion sizes were... just enough. Try the home-made Thai Ice Tea when you are there, it was delicious (and get some Sake too!)

The duck with black bean sauce was extremely tasty. I particularly liked that the dish contained a lot of different vegetables. I can also highly recommend the lemon grass iced tea. Will certainly come back.

A unique place, food with great flavor, always very friendly, one of my places where I go at least once a week, in addition to the few places in Bern that are open on Mondays, they are fast and have a super easy and varied menu Also rich in every way Soriya I will always go, thank you so much.

Very bad experience from the staff. I was traveling with family and a five year old child . My first day in Bern and it was heavily snowing. We decided to take lunch from Soriya as they serve Asian food. The attitude of the staff was very hostile . The incident really triggered me when we asked for a glass to drink water which we bought from outside . The response was “we can’t give glass as you have bought water from outside the shop”. Even we told that we have bought water in flask for child who needs something hot. On the face she said no. We never faced such a behavior from anywhere in Swiss. Also the food seems not worth for money.

There is delicious and authentic Thai food here. You should definitely try the homemade lemongrass iced tea. The service was super friendly and always had a smile on her face. Everything clean including toilets. An absolute recommendation from me.

When the place is full, the chairs are close together and it gets quite loud. There are no desserts in the restaurant! The waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed...

Eating chop suey with duck was terrible Sauce extremely watery and tastes like a gravy with a lot of water and no spices.

They asked elders to stand up and wait outside although there are empty tables inside just because they haven’t clean the tables yet. (We can just sit down and wait for them to clean, but they don’t allow).

Hateful people! Worst restaurant experience I have had in Europe (10 year resident of Germany)!! Food is well below average and the people are so rude it’s unbelievable. My party of 13 ordered take-away but asked to pay cash to sit in the dine-portion of the restaurant (which was completely empty—we only needed 10 minutes) but when I offered, the wait staff threatened to call the police. Haters—do not be at here!

We like to eat bak mee goreng, pad thai, udon noodles, delicious. 😊 But if Thai people like to eat spicy food I suggest that it's probably not your style. Because the food here is made in a neutral European style. And the restaurant is Asian. Not a real Thai restaurant

This was the worst thai food I have ever tried, and I traveled throughout the world, in Asia, USA, Europe but this is the one. Even though I told the waitress / cook that I want my Som Tam spicy and the main dish as well, it came without a single chili pepper, the taste was just sour, not balanced at all so I sent the dish back and said please add chili in it. Then she brought it back, and the taste was still bad. To the main course, the red chicken curry had no taste at all, i thought of leaving it as it is and leave, but that would be too unfriedly, so I still ate it but without enjoying it. The price for the bad taste of the food is too high, I would not recommend this place at all. I thought Som Tam was pretty much served in every thai restaurant, so it should not be a big deal to make it right, but I was wrong.

The food is fantastic. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service. The staff is very friendly but not necessarily attentive. Unfortunately we noticed that an older lady who has difficulty walking had a table on the upper floor. Only a steep old wooden staircase leads up. The staff could have simply given her one of the lower tables and the upper one to someone else. There would have been space.

Bad service! The food tasted not that good. Not recommended. We just went there to eat Thai food, but seems like they serve only those who are not Asian. Thai people go to eat at other restaurants. Service only foreigners Thai people are treated like they're asking for free food. It's very bad.

The food was very tasty. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the udon noodles. For starters we had the gyoza. Everything very tasty. If you like a sweet drink I can recommend the homemade Ice Tea. The staff was very friendly. The two negative things were that whenever someone entered the restaurant it got quite chilly. So make sure not to sit too close to the door. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food. The table next to us came in around 15 minutes later and they got their food first.

Complete menu with all the usual meats of Thai cuisine. Reasonable prices. Fast service. Hearty dishes.

The worst service ever. I will never come back to this restaurant. Today 11/3/2023 , at 17:45, I and my friend went to this restaurant and order. I made 4 orders for our diners and asked for 2 small dishes to share the salad. The owner of restaurant refused us because she said that: “WE HAVE TO CLEAN MORE DISHES” so she denied to give us I could not understand what was going on. I told her that i could not know why she did that. Just Please check my orders. I orders 4 big dishes not 1 , why can not share? She told me : please follow European style?? It is the worst explaination. I paid for the diner and went out. I went to other restaurant. Entre: 1 Som Tam papaya salad 15,50 chf 1 tod man ( fried fish) 8,50 chf Main dishes: 2 big tom yum x 18,50 chf = 37 chf 2 x 5dl water : 4chf —> totally we piaf 65chf . ( not yet eat )

Came just in time, still had space. The Szechuan beef was ok - but DEFINITELY not spicy enough for Szechuan. Not only did it have little spiciness, it had NO spiciness. And with Szechuan I expect something! The price is borderline, the service is OK. Just 4*, albeit just barely.

The Pad Thai was very tasty and my colleagues also praised the other dishes. The service staff is friendly, but sometimes there are waiting times or they don't pay attention to you quickly. But I will definitely come back.

This restaurant was a very pleasant and good discovery. The udon noodles are tasty and rich, the curry has a very nice mix of flavours and also their homemade Thai tea is good and refreshing. Plus the staff is friendly and kind. A very nice and tasty dinner in the old city in Bern!

The soup tom yam was actually really really great but the second dish, szechuan cow was blunt and boring, I expected more. Plus they do not give you fish sauce because apparently the customers complain about the smell, I mean, don't go to an asian restaurant if one of their staple sauces it's not to your liking, just because of some winy customers, who probably never returned there, other customers are not allowed to enjoy asian food at it's maximum potential. Additionally, for spiciness, they give you sriracha sauce, this is a joke to be honest, no chillies, no nam pla prik , but sriracha, totally embarrassing.

It's just sad, I called before I ordered and wanted to know if you would add hoisin sauce with it, then I placed the order, when it was delivered something was completely different than what I wanted and the cutlery I wanted wasn't there either. I'm not saying never again, but please make an effort and give the phone to someone who understands and speaks German well.

I ordered nasi goreng and pad thai. The pad thai was delicious and the nasi goreng was a little salty. It was very convenient to be able to use the bathroom. The owner was friendly, and it seemed like a lot of nearby office workers used it for takeout.

Terrible food. The sweet and sour chicken was sweeter than my lemonade that was already very sweet. Inedible. In addition the shrimp curry had bad potatos that ruined the taste of the whole dish. Will not go again.

Great Thai food, but don’t expect a cheap meal. While this shouldn’t have to be said about Switzerland, as everything is pricey, just be ready for a large bill. However the portions are big and tasty.

Unfortunately, the dishes I had were a bit disappointing. The Goyozas and fish cakes didn't seem very fresh and the former in particular had a boring taste. Baked briefly in the oven until crispy, they were better. The papaya salad didn't have any fish sauce on it, which is just a given for me. However, it was very fresh and crunchy. The chop suey didn't have enough green vegetables for me and the sauce wasn't convincing either. But the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. However, delivery was extremely fast.

Thanks to my godfather and my sister for this magnificent discovery. For me it is the best Thai that I have tasted in my entire life, truly excellent, nothing to say. At the starter I had the papaya salad 🥗 called Som-Tam and it is really good. I had the Gaeng-Phet dish with chicken 🍗: The chicken is super tender, the sauce and excises the rice 🍚 jasmine is great, the vegetables are delicious, really nothing to say. These are flavors that you don't find everywhere, you really have to try it to discover that it's a little spicy but not too much, just a treat. The location is great because it's really nice, not too many people, quiet far from the traffic, they have a terrace. The staff are just adorable, they are smiling and very kind. I really recommend it to everyone 🌎

We were in Bern,Switzerland for business and vacation. After 10 days with Swiss cuisine and Italian. I missed my Thai food. We went to Soriya. The service was good and friendly but the taste of the food is ok. My pad-thai was salty. My friends liked green curry and yellow curry.

Food was good. Pad Thai and green curry was ordered by almost everyone in the restaurant.

Was one of the first asian places i found in town, but remains one of the favourites. Wonderful fairplay takeaway at noon, from all the many places i know - my favourite Szechuan. Normally, really quick cooking, too.

It's open over lunch until 2 p.m. and we are turned away at 1:40 p.m. Pretty weak, honestly.

You don't always get what you order. But still, what you get is excellent! E.g. No. 56 duck with a black bean sauce and white rice. Just wonderful! And what's more important: always very nice staff!

I have been passing this place for years and it never occurred to me to walk in. Now l know why…. But first l need to say how friendly and swift the service was. But the food? So sorry to say but it was not good. Ordered Thai soup with coconut milk. It was heavy and not authentically light as l am used to. The Pad Thai was a huge disappointment. It was awful. Again it didn’t come near the taste one would expect from Thaifood. There was a strange after taste of bad oil/ fat? Can’t put my finger on it. I could not even finish it. I would not recommend this place. Best Thai in Bern is Shokdee in Gümligen I think

A good Asian restaurant in the center of Bern. The restaurant has around ten tables. The service is efficient, we are served quickly!

Clearly one of the best Thai restaurants in Bern

The service is good but the taste of the food is so-so. We order Laab Gai chicken but isn’t the taste I expect. A bit cold and salty. Gaeng Pet beef taste, the curry is thick but I don’t like the vegetables. The Galangal is still in side the curry :) I don’t find the smell of basil, coriander or lemon grass.

Large selection, which includes very tasty menus. There is a take away stand for a quick lunch. The menus are all freshly prepared and nice and hot. I can highly recommend everything
