The Bristol Bern in Bern

My experience at the NH Hotel in Bern was excellent. The location in the center of the old town is perfect for exploring the city. The hotel is very well maintained and we were pleasantly surprised with a lovely detail for my birthday: they offered us sweets and drinks at the bar for my husband, my two children and me. The staff's attention was very correct and friendly, especially with the guests. children. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities. I recommend this hotel without hesitation, we loved our stay and would definitely return.

I consumed something in the hotel bar on the ground floor. Apero, Campari with orange juice No overnight stay.

The location, kindness, hospitality, everything excellent!!! The rooms are very comfortable, the mattress is the best, the little bar, to have a few drinks after walking all day, is the best!! We loved it, without a doubt, we will return on the next visit to Bern.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is always ready to help on any issue. As a plus, the bar lounge area has delicious cocktails with a wide selection. Damu was extremely knowledgeable and his recommendations for some Swiss mixed drinks were top notch.

NH the Bristol hotel is an ancient building refurbished with modern facilities. Location is superb, being in the old town area of Bern. A few min walk from the train station. Lots of shops & eateries around, very convenient. The reception area is next to the restaurant/bar counter. Welcome drink & snacks too. Within the room, there is a coffee machine, fridge, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Heater in the room keeps you warm during winter. Staff are very polite & friendly.

Had a single room, small but great! Good mattresses and clean, modern room. Everything you need and absolutely quiet in the inner courtyard, in the middle of Bern! Very friendly welcome and a nice modern bistro in the entrance!

Sonntag, schönes Wetter und es werden nur Hotelgäste bediennt. Keine Info auf dem Tisch! Schade....

Firstly, this was one of the cheapest choices in Bern, but considering it's position in the old town and 4mins from train, 1 minute from tram and 2minutes to the market square and Palais Fédéral, it is an excellent option whatever the price. Secondly, the choice of room (16m being the smallest, and also the quietest as facing the back) includes a free English and continental breakfast buffet, free mini bar in room (with a choice of 4 non-alcoholic drinks) and kettle with Nescafe sachets and luxury teas. The room was spacious, bed linen was excellent, power-shower modern with press button taps and complimentary toiletries.The staff were lovely, the Receptionist was very helpful finding me addresses on the internet, and my stay here was delightful. One thing worth mentioning, in the hotel lounge there is a selection of all the things you crave for during the night: crisps, ice cream, wine, soft drinks, nespresso... all self service, signed for on an honesty basis and added to your end of stay bill ;-) fantastic idea which I really appreciated! Worth knowing, if you book online direct on the hotel site, you have a much better rate, plus a weekend discount! Highly recommended! Thankyou!

Rooms are a bit smallish, but hotel is clean and well maintained, and staff are wonderful. Right in the heart of Bern. Conveniently located near everything.

Personal an Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit und Professionalität nicht zu übertreffen. Bar/Lounge-Bereich sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, Zimmer mit Balkon liess keine Wünsche übrig. Sehr gerne wieder.

Top Hotel im Zentrum von Zürich. Service ist freundlich, schnell und nett.

Super gute Lage gleich um die Ecke vom Bahnhof Bern und ein Steinwurf vom Bundesplatz entfernt. Sehr sauber, schön eingerichtetes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Gastronomie konnten wir leider aufgrund Corona-Einschränkungen nicht gross konsumieren, aber das was serviert wurde war sehr gut. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter.

Wir waren für eine Nacht als Familie in Bern im Hotel Bristol und haben sehr freundliches sowie hilfsbereites Personal angetroffen. Die Zimmer sind genügend gross, ruhig und mit sehr bequemen Betten.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, sehr gut gelegen zu Fuss vom Bahnhof/Zentrums und der Altstadt. Wir sind sehr gut empfangen worden. Bei der Buchung wurde auch auf Extrawünsche eingegangen, welche beim Check-in diskret bestätigt wurden. Das Zimmer hatte auch alle Vorzüge (leider hat eins der beiden Betten geknarrt) und trotz offenem Fenster am Sonntag war es sehr ruhig in der Nebenstrasse. Das Personal war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!!

Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Einzelzimmer jedoch eher klein. Kostenlose Getränke (Mineral) in der Minibar,

british affines Hotel an super Lage. Schlafen wie zu Hause oder sogar noch besser in diesen Betten mit den genialen Duvets. Ececutive Room ist riesig und gut ausgestattet. cooked english breakfast mit orange marmelade. Personal durchs Band äusserst aufmerksam.

Strategic clean and nice right in the heart of Bern

Hôtel très bien situé, propre, décoration un peu austère et froide mais moderne, personnel agréable. Tarif également abordable. Seul problème, il n’y a pas de parking pour les visiteurs. Mais cela est compréhensible car l’hôtel est en plein centre-ville de Berne.

Situation idéale, hôtel propre et confortable, bien décoré.

J’avais demandé une chambre calme, j’ai une chambre sur rue avec passage des voitures. Matelas mous. Le petit déjeuner est mauvais il faut payer un supplément prendre un œuf brouillé. Chambre sombre et sans intérêt. Rapport qualité prix très mauvais.

Wir waren schon mehrmals im Bristol und immer sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind modern, gemütlich und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch Kinder sind willkommen. Wenn wir in Bern sind, kommen wir wieder.

Great hotel in the city center of Bern, right next to the main station. Convenient for business travelers or tourists alike :-) You can literally reach all major sites in 15 minutes walk.

Nettes Restaurant des Hotel Bristols, mitten im Zentrum in der Nähe vom Bundesplatz. Freundliche Bedienung, gemütliches Ambiente. Hab hier an einem morgen nur kurz was getrunken, würde aber auch zum Essen vorbeischauen.

Sehr gepflegetes, sauberes Hotel, gueter Kaffe am Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und die Dusche ist mit Regenduschbrause an der Decke. Super toll. Faire Preise und eine sehr sympatische, charismatische Directrice. Chapeau!

역과 가깝고 방은 깨끗하고 직원들이 친절해요. 자전거를 무료로 빌릴수 있어서 장미공원 들르고 아레강 실외수영장(Freibad Marzili)에서 수영하고 쉬다 왔어요. 아, 근데 방음은 좀 안되요. 가끔 다른 방에서 대화하는 소리 웅얼웅얼 들리고, 강아지 짖는 소리, 아기 우는 소리 들렸어요. 그냥 들리기만 했어요. 그리 크진 않기도 하고 제가 민감하지도 않아서 바로 신경 껐는데 민감하신 분은 고려하세요.

Super Ort für einen Städtetrip!

Très bon emplacement, hôtel au décor soigné, personnel très souriant et aimable. Chambre confortable et spacieuse, d'une excellente propreté. Petit bémol sur le petit-déjeuner, vraiment très simple. Heureusement la disponibilité de la personne au service ce jour là, son sourire et son réel envie de nous faire plaisir a palier à ce bémol (a même fait venir du pain spécialement pour nous de la boulangerie la plus proche) Je recommande cet endroit.

The hotel was first rate! The location was perfect for a visit to the city. The staff was incredibly friendly. I especially appreciated that they let me practice my awful German upon arrival. Most places immediately switch to English, but the Front Manager was extra kind and patient with me! I would give it a 5 star, but we were a little underwhelmed with the "English Breakfast". I think it was due to COVID restrictions, but a croissant and yogurt is not what I think of when I hear English Breakfast. I will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Bern.

Das Abendessen fand in ruhiger Atmosphäre statt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Bier trinkfertig kühl!!Das Essen war sehr fein und wurde auch zeitgerecht serviert!Der Fisch war sehr fein, aber etwas klein - dafür wurden die feinen Fritten aus Süsskartoffeln nicht berechnet! Das ist Werbung!

We stay here for business and have found the hotel to be excellent. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Nice touches are: no disposable shampoo, coffee in the room, Brompton bikes for loan. Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All clients we have brought to the hotel have complimented it as well. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel and am always happy to return!

Very convenient location half a block from the tram station, and also close to the train station (Banhof). Friendly staff, comfortable beds, I highly recommend it.

Chambre agréable, déco "quitch" à souhait façon "old England" service impeccable à la réception et au bar. Petit bémol, certaines hôtesses au petit déjeuner étaient peu souriantes et en oubliaient un peu les formes de politesse. Buffet petit déjeuner copieux et bien garni. Emplacement du petit déjeuner à revoir, certains buffets étant juste à côté de la cuisine, passage très étroit et les clients dérangent les serveuses. Sinon top

Laute Atmosphäre, netter bis sehr netter Service, speditiv, Essen knapper Durchschnitt. Gelbes Curry mit EINER Lychee und EINEM STÜCK Mango, der Rest war Sauce, dafür viel Reis, wenig Inhalt also. Tagesmenue extrem wässrig, beide Gerichte kamen innerhalb wenigen Minuten (<10 Minuten), kann das frisch à la Minute gekocht sein? Thai à la Fastfood, da gibt's weitaus originellere Thairestaurants in Bern.Für mich nur bedingt empfehlenswert.

La déco est originale, les chambres bien agencées et propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié. Le personnel au bar est top, drôle, et souriant. Nous recommandons le cocktail "Royal Blush" qui a été une belle découverte.

Comfortable British style bar and coffe place. We stopped by for coffee and scones, which are excellent and a bargain for what you get: a fresh warm scone, clotted cream and jam. Recommended!

Hotel centrale e comodo come posizione.

Mit meinem Freund besuchte ich das Cha Cha am Freitagabend. Um 18.00h war das Restaurant noch leer aber gegen den Abend kamen die Menschen. Toller freundlicher Service nahm den 3 Jahren abgelaufenen Gutschein an. Ambiente sehr schön und das Essen war sehr fein.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel wurde auch vor 2 Jahren komplett saniert. Sehr zentral gelegen einfach zu erreichen vom HB. Das Zimmer selber und die Toilette sind sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich. Einziger negativer Punkt für mich ist das Frühstück das preis-leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich nicht. 25.- ist etwas zuviel verlangt für das was man bekommt. Es steht eine normale Auswahl zur Verfügung. Aber nicht gerade 25.- wert da würde ich den Gästen eine Bäckerei in der Nähe empfehlen ist günstiger und man hat eine grössere Auswahl. Sonst im grossen und Ganzen jeden zum empfehlen 👍

Das Cha Cha ist immer einen Besuch wert, wurde bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Absolut empfehlen kann ich die Ente. Hier ist die Ente auch wirklich knusprig, ansonsten steht es bei Asia-Lokalen häufig nur im Beschrieb, hier wird es so geliefert. Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich

Sehr unfreundliches Personal, mein Freund wurde zweimal angemacht und beleidigt. Ich war sehr enttäuscht von dem Zimmer. Ich hatte was ganz anderes erwartet als ich es gebucht habe. Es hat gestunken, es war eng und die Deko war altmodisch (80er) Das einzige was ich schön fand war das Wellness Bereich. Ich habe mich wie in einer normalen 3Sterne Pension gefühlt aber nicht wie in einem 5sterne Hotel

Clean and cute rooms. Downstairs restaurant seems popular so lobby can get very crowded in the evenings. Location is excellent, just a few minutes from the train station and in the old section of Bern.

Un joli hôtel bien situé. L'accueil est prévenant, le service excellent. La chambre est très spacieuse et bien meublée, avec un lit particulièrement confortable. La salle d'eau est top, point bonus, les WC sont séparés. La propreté est impeccable.

Ich hatte mein Curry etwas milder bestellt... aber was dann kam war eine wässrige komische Sauce (Farbe wie Bechamelsauce), Pouletfleisch undefinierbar künstlich (Fleisch konsistenz wie Chicken Nuggets, gepresst, reskonstruiert?)Der Service unprofessionell, nach Dessert und Kaffee wurden wir nicht gefragt; aber um 21.45h kam man schon einkassieren... Also diese Bewertungen die man hier liest, entsprechen tatsächlich der Realität!!!Lieber kleine traditionelle Thai-Restaurants in Bern unterstützen, billiger und noch besser dazu!!!Schade fürs Geld!

Nice hotel, good services. As a minus the room temperature doesn't go above 21 degrees even if you set it. Also the dining area is a little crowded. Also the room furniture gives the impression it has been used for a while.Overall it's a good hotel, but not excellent.

Wir waren am 20. November am Abend im Cha Cha. Das vegetarische Wok Genüse wurde lieblos in einer wässrigen Suppe serviert.Der gebratene Reis enthält nicht erwa frische Eier sondern pasteurisiertes Eipulver als Klumpen! Gruuusig!Und von all den Zusatzstoffen und Geschmacksverstärker ganz zu schweigen.....Das war das zweite und allerletzte mal, dass wir in diesem Restaurant waren!

Hervorragendes Hotel mit sehr schönen, klimatisierten Zimmern. Mein Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.

Unser Gutschein 20% für Zitat: „Gültig für Personen im gleichen Haushalt lebend“ wurde nicht akzeptiert, weil angeblich eine interne Regelung etwas anderes besagt.Das Kokoswasser schmeckte nach Kanalisation.Das Essen wurde lieblos fabriziert.

I enjoyed the hotel. My room was small and so it was the sin in the bathroom. But it was very clean and the staff is super nice. Breakfast is good although quite standard. The location is very much convenient. Few meters from the railway station and very close to the old town.

清潔でフレンドリーなサービスを受けることはできるが、連泊時のアメニティの補充が不十分で、ティーバッグやコーヒーカプセルはともかくとして、テッシュペーパーの補充すらフロントにいちいち頼まなければならないのは、今一です。

Accueil réception très bien, chambre spacieuse propre, mais alors un réel souci d isolation phonique, la chambre de droite je peux entre la conversation, et à gauche il se fait un café. ...... dommage, sinon l emplacement et parfait .
