A suitable choice for eating. Their food is delicious. I visited it a long time ago. I recommend it

This restaurant was open on October 28, 2023. We searched for this restaurant and specifically went here. We also dined in at the restaurant and took out some food. You will not remember because I have come there only ones and not living in Interlaken. The food is here is ok, not that authentic. It’s a way too pricey compared to other Indian restaurants. We packed and took it home. But the quality of packing was pathetic. They don’t even use proper packing materials, the curry was spilled inside the cover and we had a tough time. They weren’t even using eco friendly packing materials being in Interlaken.

Delicious and halal to eat And they are helpful But you know how Indians smell 👍🏼 And there is still a prayer room

Poisoning due to poor quality of meat and lack of cleanliness of salad, and after the analysis after going to the hospital, the result of the analysis was due to salmonella bacteria for 4 adults and 4 children. It is ridiculous that the prices were high. I wish we would have gone to the nearby Indian restaurants, Muslims, with high quality and almost half the prices. God suffices me, and He is the best disposer of affairs

This restaurant has the best Indian cuisine. We ordered the chicken soup that was flavourful with real pieces of chicken in it. The chicken curry and tandoori chicken were very tender with the right spices. Very clean restaurant and soft music that allows for conversation. The service was quick and very curtious staff. I would come back again.

Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. This is an absolute MUST if you come to Interlaken. Very authentic and great service. We had the lentils, the chicken curry, and the eggplant. The tomato soup was also to die for. Great samosas. Go here!

Food was amazing! Had Indian food after two months and just gave the best vibe. We were there for three days and did not have any second thoughts for restaurant options. Though the staff can be a little more polite. They declined to serve tap water to us and at the same time it was being served to the foreigners which made us feel a little strange. But the food was the best! Which was enough to ignore a few things. I can go there again and again.

Everything we ordered was delicious with the he finest and freshest ingredients. Everyone was kind , courteous, and helpful. The dishes were authentic with amazing flavors and left us wanting more. The naan was the best we ever had, flavorful and light. We have eaten in many counties and we were very happy here!

I was missing rice a lot, so we decided to have dinner here while we were in Interlaken. It was in a nice spot away from the crowded streets, and it was nice to sit outside with a view of the mountain between buildings. We ordered Palak Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Pappadums, and of course, rice. The Shahi Paneer was top notch and probably one of the best I've had, but the Palak Paneer tasted a bit different from what my husband and I are used to. It was still delicious, but it may not be the restaurant's speciality. The Pappadums may have been a bit too much for the price of €3,50, though. Anyway, service was okay and could be improved as we had struggled a bit to get someone's attention and had to wait a while to be served some water. Other than that, I think this place is worth a shot if you're craving for something different and are tired of having cheese and bread or potatoes for every meal.

The food is not as praiseworthy as it is very normal It is expensive compared to the quantity, and the white rice is not chewy and has no taste 🥲

The decor food and service all is excellent of this restaurant. We ordered Chicken Tikka Aloo Palak Dal Makhani Na a and roti. Everything was excellent. Authentic home made taste. We specially loved Nan and roti they were made fresh in tandoor so thin crispy and real butter on top. Highly recommend it

Good Indian food in the downtown area near Interlaken West station. Service was quick and portion size was average. It seems it was a michellin star few years ago. Some of the dishes can be considered for the star, others needed improvement like wings. They can do better in atmosphere.

Spoiled by the hospitality from Mr Mathur( owner). Food is superb. Nan is authentic and Dal and other curries was amazing. In Interlaken it's the best Indian authentic one can eat with really a premium quality. I travel across Switzerland in different kantons, and can really recommend to Indian food freaks to must visit this restaurant and stop missing Delhi food. Can't say more here. Try for yourself and get surprised. Update Feedback - 03.08.2023 Mr. Mathura and staff is best as always. There is no tour to Interlaken complete without visit to this place. We are coming here since 10 years and have best food ever. Its real authentic north indian food in Switzerland 🇨🇭

Eating a masterpiece and delicious in every sense of the word...samosas, butter chicken, tandoori, biryani rice, and bread with cheese are something other than fabulous. Our happy experience ended with empty plates, and I am very happy as a family head about that. Thank you to whoever was creative in describing this restaurant and provided us with the best guide.

Very rarely u will find an Indian restaurant outside India who serves top notch level of Indian food, taste ,quantity and quality is excellent. I am quite taken aback to find such good Indian restaurant in Interlaken ,Switzerland . Although it may feel expensive but compared to other restaurants there it's felt reasonable ( all restaurants in Switzerland are pretty expensive). Both veg and nonveg items are good.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever experienced. Chicken Tikka Masala, rice and Garlic Naan were hilarious. Naan has the perfect crispiness. Chicken tikka masala is not sweet, the spice balance was great. Tasted paratha and Barrah Kabab, which were delicious as well. The staff is friendly and the place is quite hygienic. I am so happy to have come here

Delicious food - some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had: flavorful, perfectly spiced, and not too heavy/creamy. Service was good. Excellent vegetarian options (we had Dal Tadka and Aloo Gobi). Affordable too. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful experience at Spice India Restaurant in Interlaken. We had Veg. Biryani and Palak Paneer with rice, and needless to say the food was amazing, the service was excellent and the ambience was fantastic too. Definitely give it a try if you are in Interlaken and craving some good indian food 👍🏽

We loved it !!! We had dinner 3 time in our 4 days stay Owner was nice and he is been running this place for over 23 years

Probably the worst customer service. The man was rude and told us (family of 3 with a kid) “we are full come back later” in a tone that was appalling - when it was 9pm and the restaurant closes at 10. Ironically 2 mins later the restaurant is half empty and group enters and sits at the same table we were at. I’m not sure what this restaurant is aiming at if not good customer service - but we’re never returning and never recommending this place to anyone. I would think Indians will be given a good welcome in a land away from home - but these guys clearly are clearly unaware of what “hospitality” industry means.

Great place for dinner! Food was delicious and you get a large portion. In a quiet and clean alley off the main street so you can enjoy your dinner in peace. I would recommend!

We ordered kadai paneer, butter chicken and a mutton dish and everything tasted like great simple home made meal. After this restaurant, we went to another Indian restaurant and didn’t like the food at all after eating here but had to go there since it was Sunday and this place is shut on Sunday’s. Must visit if you end up craving for Indian food!

If you are here, you have to try their Dal Fry. It was amazing! The Samosas were tasty as well, but the size of Samosa was too small for the price we pay. We also had Veg Shashlik and Veg Biryani. Both were okay. The taste of the masala in both these dishes was similar. Good ambience. Service can be better, felt a bit sluggish and had to ask same thing multiple times before the waiter would finally bring it.

Our group of 7 were visiting Interlaken and we decided to go for an Indian meal. We found Spice India and were very impressed. The service was fantastic, we had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a quite period. The food was very flavorsome and tasty, just like home. We had a number of dishes, all had their own unique flavors not like some restaurants where the curry base is the same. I would visit again and we had a great time.

Chicken Tikka was excellent, Chic Tikka Masala had inferior meat. Rice and Nan Ok not very warm. Overall very expensive would not return. Waiter tried to overcharge my card by 100 CHF.

Absolutely amazing! We ordered the chicken wings to start— and they have a kick! SO yummy! I ordered the butter chicken and my husband had the tikka masala with a butter naan. We ended up ordering another naan because of how delicious it was! 10/10 recommend! The outdoor seating was comfortable and relaxing. This is finding Heaven in the city. We were cribbing about not finding good Indian food when we came across this place. The place offers you so many variety in Indian food and the taste is simply delicious. It is as good as eating in India. If you are craving for good Indian food, this is your place to be.

After hunting for good Indian resturant at Interlaken , I finally found this resturant with authentic Indian taste. Their veg thali was best and highly recommended. Staffs were nice with good courtesy to customers. Will definitely come back next time.
