La Terrasse in Interlaken

It was very cozy and super nice in this atmosphere. The buffets were very nicely presented. The service staff made every effort and was always there. The only shame was that the cheese selection no longer had recent cheese from Switzerland on offer (we have very great cheese in the nearby Bernese Oberland) and that there was no natural yogurt for the variety of "muesli", flakes and nuts etc. available. We will definitely come back again and again!

Terrible experience. Food ok, but overpriced. The waiter almost didn’t come over to us and when he did he was not really nice. Ordered a red wine but they forgot to bring it and then tried to charge us for it. After that they got mad at my friend for having a nut allergy. Never coming back again.

One of the most beautiful and successful restaurants and cafes in Interlaken. ✅The food and service are super honest ✅View of the park and the main street ✅ The price has never been more expensive, so I once came and had coffee there for 30 francs The second time, we lived there for 70 francs I find this price very reasonable considering the service, speed and sophistication of the place.

We were there for Sunday brunch, everything was very good. The only thing we found a bit unfortunate was that it didn't start until 11:30.

The service and atmosphere are beautiful!! Some of the food was normal and some of it was bad. Praise be to God. We ordered the beef burger (bad), the entrecote was normal, the halal meat was not delicious, and the king shrimp was bad. Pepperoni (red pepper) soup is good, as is the hummus. beloved; We paid 300 francs for regular food and less than that. I do not advise.

After our civil wedding in Interlaken, we ate with our guests at La Terrasse Brasserie. My wife and I had never been to La Terrasse Brasserie before but we relied on the hotel's good reputation and were absolutely not disappointed. The food and service were top and the ambience was perfect for a wedding. The service was prompt, attentive and extremely professional and the menu offers something for everyone. My wife and I would go to La Terrasse Brasserie again at any time and can only recommend it.

We ordered 2 cups of tea & new work cheesecake: - the tea was very cold and we had replaced it and was same with the first one. - the cheesecake is very average nothing special the same one that you buy from coop. Although, the waiters are very welcoming

The restaurant is affiliated with the Victoria Hotel. There are beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the garden and the street. You must make a reservation before you go, as it gets crowded at dinner time. The service was excellent from the waiter who held our table, but the manager responsible for arranging tables and making reservations was arrogant and did not want to seat us on the promenade. She said there are 3 of you, and this is a table for two people, and all those around us are 4 people or more sitting. I did not like her behavior and style at all, which is why I gave her 4 stars instead of 5. . The food is very delicious and luxurious. We ordered ice tea, which is hibiscus. Fish and chips 9/10 and the steak that the men cut in front of you was very tender and had a very delicious sauce. I recommend visiting it.

Had a slight hunger to satisfy! Small menu with delicious dishes for Zeischendurch. The choice: Jungfrau Burger with fries! Very good and beautifully served! Price ok. With cloth napkin and very friendly service. Wonderful terrace! It's worth a visit! (Treat yourself!)

Make the terraces non-smoking/non-vaping already! The food and drinks are absolutely delicious and the service is top-notch, however the experience just gets degraded so hard when you smell someone’s vape from the table next over.

We booked the table for an Afternoon Tea with my family (two adults and one kid) SERVICE Customer service was just bad. From the situation that they didn't allow us to have a table with a view (in the empty restaurant, keeping in mind we reserved in advance) because "it is for 4 people" and we were "only 3". To the situations like putting the bunch of sweets and chocolate it front of Olivia before food arrived without even asking us, if she has allergy or we allow sweets in general. FOOD: Tea brand and selection is quite plain for and Afternoon tea, tea lovers wouldn't be satisfied. Sandwiches are plain, and have a "Swiss variation" with cheese & cured beef twist. Cucumber and salmon sandwiches are a highlight from the whole selection of food. Smallest "Scones" I ever saw are just another sweet Gipfeli and are served with double cream, instead of Clotted cream. That duo isn't even close to the scones in any means. You can't have any refills like it should be during Afternoon tea, but we had no intention anyway. Overall experience is 3/10 (thanks to the view or interior of the hotel, seems you can't enjoy both), doesn’t worth trying it.

Great place with live music, perfect for a romantic date. The food was very tasty and creative. I recommend trying the salmon ceviche. We will for sure come back!

One of the amazing restaurant in Grand Victoria Hotel in Interlaken - Switzerland 🇨🇭 We had our breakfast there and it was amazing experience to have nice variety food buffet with the amazing view of the garden with amazing mountains 🏔️ In some normal days the restaurant was cool and no need for reservation, but I think in some rush season they told you to make reservations There employees was kind and helpful

People stop by for the ambiance and location in front of the Victoria Hotel. Service was dreadfully confusing with long wait times from our flustered waiter. His colleagues saved the day but he was just slow and didn’t put in our orders. At this price point, one would expect drinks to be refilled or at least a follow up visit after presentation. Nothing. Overall the food was mediocre at best. I had to add salt to my ribeye and my colleagues filet was bland.

We spent a wonderful birthday evening with my mum and Pedro's service was exceptional. Calm. Professional. Smiley. The entertainment and live music was amazing. Not to mention quality food. Try the Swiss steak! Top! Thanks Pedro for your wonderful personality and help!

Mashallah, this hotel, like all hotels, is sometimes wonderful and luxurious, but sometimes it is expensive, today it is close to a thousand riyals, and it also has a back facade

The view, atmosphere, and the food were fabulous. However, be ready to unload your pockets. We spent 78CHF each for a few slices of Chateaubriand. Our service experience was really bad especially when paying these prices. We arrived at 8:30 and ordered Caesar Salads, one without the added anchovies. They put vinaigrette dressing on one of the salads and no Parmesan cheese on the other. The waiter was absent for at least 15 minutes on multiple occasions through the evening. The bad part was that our 148CHF Chateaubriand for 2 did not make it to the table until 10pm so we were the last ones in the entire restaurant when it arrived an hour late. Perhaps just an anomaly, but certainly not a 5 star hotel or Restaurant experience. They comped the salad and a glass of wine but it's really not acceptable to wait over an hour for a medium rare Chateaubriand at those prices no matter how good it was.

We had an absolutely scrumptious dinner at La Terrace. They had lots of fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. We had two souls - I can't decide which one was better - the roasted red pepper or the asparagus one. Topped that with a simple penne arrabiata. Our friend had a superb burger which looked a little small to me. And we finished with superb desserts - a vegan lemon meringue and chocolate mousse. The only minus point? Didn't like theusic. Simply didn't go with the classical European look of the restaurant. Staff were helpful as ns super friendly - I guess Interlaken people know us Indians... We were even offered ketchup! - which of course we politely refused. One of our friends had a birthday and they gave us a surprise - a deep dark chocolate cake that they even thoughtfully offered to pack for us because we had already ordered dessert. We would definitely come here again...

We loved the Coq au Vin (chicken) and the little spinach salad. Definitely go at sunset and hope to get seated near the large windows. Gorgeous views.

I celebrated my birthday there today and it was great :) The service was incredibly attentive and friendly! The ladies in service gave us good advice regarding the choice of food and wine. The food and service was impeccable! Only snag was that we booked a table several weeks in advance and when we showed up they had booked us at Sapori, even though I specifically asked for La Terrace, and the girl on the phone when booking repeated back to me she had booked us at La Terrace. Luckily it was a slow evening so they still found us a table and the staff greeting us was kind and helpful throughout the evening. Will definitely be back!

Great ambience and appealing creativity of the food. The service was courteous and friendly. I particularly like the non-alcoholic drinks that are offered. I would love to come back on my next visit to Interlaken.

The menu was nothing to rave about, very basic options with a ridiculous price tag. The main issue I have is with regards to the service, we were treated like second class citizens by the waitstaff who acted as if they thought we couldn’t afford to eat there. We were only provided with the food menu and had to request the alcohol and cocktail menus (however all other guests were provided with all 3 menus). Would not recommend purely based on the service provided.

Very good spot for a drink by the lake. It closes in winter though.

High quality desserts and drinks

We love Interlaken and enjoy this place. We often stop at the Victoria hotel to have a coffee/cakes or juices. It's always been good for drinks only. We tried the chicken Nuggets this Sunday and it was a horrible experience. Over-fried in deep oil, the chicken quality was very very poor, kind of mix of chicken fat and some chicken meat from the legs/thighs! kind of dog's food quality. Very disappointing. We felt sick afterward. How on earth a 5-star classified bar is serving this extremely poor quality food that is worse than Mac Donald's or any low-grade café In fact, it's our fault for having trust in them as we tried their food 5 years ago and it was disastrous!!! Victoria Bar management ought to wake up... what planet are you on? stop insulting your customers by serving them dog food.

Great food and superb services!!

A beautiful spot to enjoy a drink as you watch the passerby’s or the para gliders come in for their landing. Situated across from the park, a busy street but the view is lovely, especially having the views of the mountains from afar. The staff are very well presented, friendly and attentive - the dining area is lovely too. It was a stunning day so i opted for a table outside enjoying a couple cocktails. I Enjoyed the experience very much and i would definitely return here.

Unique and amazing place. However, except for the lady and the brown person, who were very nice people , the rest of the service staff (waiters) were disrespectful to us as visitors to this place 3 times a week. When we simply try to pay our bill, all the service staff laugh, creating a very inappropriate and disrespectful situation. That clarifies the one-star rating.

The four of us ate our fill and it came out to about 50 francs. It's nice that it has a nice view and is friendly, but honestly, I don't think it's worth coming if you think about the money. It would have been much tastier if I had spent this money in another city in another country. However, I recommend it if you want to eat local food in a nice atmosphere without worrying about money.

We let ourselves be pampered on the terrace. The service was excellent. The cheesecake is a dream. The cocktail (without alcohol) was very tasty. The remaining drinks were also a pleasure.

The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the wine is delicious!!! Tomato risotto is a color that doesn't seem to taste like that, but I was surprised that it tasted better than I expected haha.

Very nice restaurant that has the top location in the heart of Interlaken. The service was fast and everyone here were really friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommend the steaks and desserts here, very tasty and worthed the price. Definitely check this place out.

Its right at the heart of interlaken. A place to see and be seen. Though it is not at all a gastronomical delight.. which fine dining restaurant gives chips.. yes "chips" with grilled tiger prawns or grilled chicken breast. The servings were too small. Not much variety for vegetarians. Not worth the money they charge.

Very expensive for a shrimp dish served with simple chips, not even homemade! Prefer the restaurant La Taverne located 500 meters away!

Top location, very good food, but the service certainly wasn't 5 stars. On the contrary, the water we ordered came after the meal, twice as much, but it didn't bother anyone except us. Therefore at least 1 point deduction. A pity. But otherwise great.

I can highly recommend the restaurant. Great cuisine. Tasteful, creative and simply good. A wine list to read and revel in anticipation for a week. (However, the wine prices are huge. You won't find a bottle of wine under 60 Sfr. You will find many wines with triple-digit SFr contributions.) Perfect and courteous service. Never intrusive. The furnishings are very nice. Comfortable seating. The price level in the restaurant is exactly the same as anywhere else in Interlaken or Switzerland. The starters are perhaps a bit more expensive than usual. Except for wine. My recommendation. Don't be put off by Virgo Victoria. Go and enjoy.
